  1. Leona took in all the information in silence with a narrow gaze, feeling herself get excited as she processed the information thrown her way. She knew her heart was pounding and that it would take only the smallest surprise to give her a boost of adrenaline. This was the most excitement she had ever felt in her life! Mystery! Danger! Real world danger! Her hand tightened around her spear. "...Ready."
  2. Leona nodded to acknowledge Gerrant. "I'll do what I can." Deciding that the statement didn't sound too arrogant, she sat up in her seat, content. With the announcement of arrival, Leona shot a glance towards the back of the craft, where her spear was being stored. It was a plain old patrol issue weapon. Not retractable, electrified, or anything of the sort. But she was hoping for a chance to actually use the old thing in combat. Plus her fire-summoning abilities could finally have an interesting use.
  3. Go out tonight and make memories and preserve your lungs
  4. 374 Challenges against the predestined are futile kekekeke
  5. I've known too many people who go too hard, so I just drink until I'm happy tipsy drunk. ...And then I try to make out with everything >_<
  6. 375. You cannot turn the tides of fate
  7. 376. Tis a losing battle I'm afraid
  8. So all the more reason to go right? But for srs, working out frequently not only keeps you healthy for years to come, it elevates you in the eyes of your peers and them ladies.
  9. "My name is Leona." Stated the one failing to look capable as she fidgeted in her uncomfortable seat. "Combat training and border patrol are the most exciting things that have happened in my life." She chose not to mention her wealthy and admittedly sheltered upbringing. "It's a pleasure to be working with you."
  10. I loooove Custom Robo, but yeah, I've only played the two U.S. releases... On the topic of fighting robots, Medabots holds a lot of nostalgia for me, especially the GBA RPG. Creative and varied robot designs, plus a unique battle system and a story that doesn't take itself too seriously.
  11. Yeah, Hafedd's was 100% silly, glad you enjoyed it though! Anyway, here's a soundcloud link to all the lines I read, plus one of me reading Gromell in my Maijin voice, and a rerecording of Ranulf with a different take on it (I wasn't happy with my first): https://soundcloud.com/royalpersonguy/sets/por-dubbed-audition-lines/s-XhjyJ
  12. Just sent eleven readings to the email in the first post~
  13. Still looking for any roles to be filled? I'm an acting major with a solid variety of voices, and I can sing (I actually sang the galdr a lot when playing PoR as a kid).
  14. I haven't cosplayed before, but I want to cosplay as Jaffar this year. He's one of the only video game characters I resemble, I have the right facial structure, skin tone, and general musculature, but I'm probably shorter and thinner than he would be. Not a huge deal though. The only real issue would be shopping for a crop top...
  15. Avatar: 7/10 Impressively well drawn and cool, though not quite epic. Sig: 9/10 I didn't know what to expect. Then I was met with something beautiful and the world was a good place.
  16. General consensus is that short hair looks better, but you should just do you bro. You seem to be aware that longer hair takes work and upkeep to look good, but chances are that if long hair works on someone, then it REALLY works. Nothing's wrong with experimenting with longer more risky hair styles, they can add individuality. But if you want to play it safe or if you're always feeling self-conscious, short would be the better option.
  17. That would be "electives", and the amount of freedom totally varies based on the school. During my time at a Christian school, I was with the same group of twenty boys in every class. But in the high school I moved to for junior and senior year, there was a lot more freedom, especially in senior year core classes (minus math). I'm honestly surprised that so many people don't think remembering names is important. It's an easy way to show that you're interested in a person, and remembering someone's name is the first way to form a connection or understanding with them, more so if you're in an environment with a lot of people. I'm at a huuuuge college, but whenever I see someone for the first time in months and they remember my name, it's a nice feeling, like a friendship has been retained. I can't always remember names, but a lot of the time it's just that effort in trying to that shows you're interested in a person. Admittedly most of my acquaintances names I remember are the ones I see via Facebook, but I digress.
  18. Though Lorentz's response left Leona a little nervous, she was happy that the dark haired girl at least accepted the possibility that she knew what she was doing. "If you're a marksman you can give me support from behind," she said to Cleo. "Balanced teams sound like the best plan, and I would love to work with you."
  19. Garrimor had hid among the trees during Schwartz's ultimatum, assuming this is what spineless civilians felt like during raids. Trying to rationalize his cowardice, he recalled that not even dozens of seasoned warriors could keep the monstrosity down. He knew he was a lost dog, incapable of doing anything of worth. And when dogs came to mind, he found himself embarrassingly concerned about Elrey's well being. Overall, Garrimor was feeling less than great. But nothing was being accomplished so long as he kept moping. Garrimor lifted his body up from his hiding position, his huge form becoming visible. The bleeding from the explosion had stopped a few minutes ago, but the blood from his forehead still managed to dirty up his eye-patch. Garrimor knew Greta's family had died, so he knew that his employer was in a type of pain that he couldn't understand. But he wasn't going to back out of this now, the only place he could return to was Greta's side. With heavy footsteps, he slowly approached the people he knew: dancer girl, his boss, and that chivalrous guy she was leaning on. "Hey Boss. I...I have no idea how to help you right now. But I know everyone wants you to be okay. So uh, we'll be your pillars of support...or something..." Garrimor's voice trailed off as he waited nervously for Greta's response, having trouble looking her in the eye.
