  1. Yeah, it's pretty insane. Very few things will be able to go any faster than that -- Apotheiosis enemies, probably, without all of them going at once, but that's seriously it, and with all of those bonuses even there she'll land a 4x on everything with Brave weapons, I'm reasonably sure. A couple of points off of the attack stat she herself is less likely to use seems like a pretty good trade-off to me. Chapter 1 is the one where the Risen first appear, right? Unless you're trying to use units other than Frederick, you can smack him and Chrom on a fort with the bronze sword equipped and he can solo the entire thing.
  2. I agree Jugdral needs it more; Elibe certainly has a lot more visibility internationally with a Western release under its belt and Roy in one of the Smash Bros. games, and the GBA engine -- while old -- is certainly fine for what it accomplishes. Its mechanics could still enjoy an overhaul, but as a much older game with adequately reflected aspects of play FE4/5 would definitely benefit from it the most. Jugdral remakes could also be a smart move since the original has the most similarity to what I assume was one of the more popular aspects of Awakening (the marriage and children) without the one I see dissed most commonly (the time travel). Business-wise, I don't think it's a smart move for IS to attempt a remake at this point since they've just brought new life back to the franchise, but down the road when the series is bolstered a little higher I would really hope they would consider remaking the older games with some of the popular new mechanics.
  3. I doubt they will, fans would probably get really angry if they implemented too many changes. Not that I'm an expert on Final Fantasy, as I've barely played, but with a fanbase that huge they're probably going to play it safe and just do like anniversary re-releases with touched up audio and visuals or something, if anything at all. meanwhile they release twewy 1.95 remix for linux os More on topic, I suppose if they tried really hard they could also shoot for the generations thing in FE13, but that would honestly be awkward as heck considering the children are the same age as their parents (thanks, time travel).
  4. I find this way more amusing than I should, given FE13 and FF13. I did enjoy Awakening a lot and it has massive replay value for supports if nothing else, typical story concerns aside, but I honestly think that the game was wrapped up as nicely as it could be. I hope the next game retains some of its features, but I'm really not hoping for a sequel, yeah.
  5. Actually seconding Jugdral remakes, or perhaps a remake of sorts of the Elibe games (first Mystery of the Emblem-esque, maybe? FE7 as Book 1 and FE6 as book 2?), but more than either of those I'd prefer an entirely new game, especially since after doing 1-3 remakes so recently I doubt they'll be remaking any games soon. There are things that can be done with Lucina's solo ending or perhaps Priam if they felt inclined to expand Tellius, but yeah. An entirely new game first is my preference.
  6. I think maybe Gangrel over Henry, though then again your list does have Walhart so maybe not. I would also swap out Cordelia for Emmeryn (as much as I love Cordelia), considering Nyna is featured in Shadow Dragon's.
  7. I think most of your pair-ups look solid for the kids - the class bonuses capitalize their strengths, which is good. You're on Lunatic, right? I probably wouldn't bother restarting with +Mag since a magical Owain will still get at least a +4 to Mag being paired up with that Morgan (ignoring class bonuses, since I can't remember the Mag bonus for DF), but I tend to prioritize the ability to double over the ability to hit super hard. Morgan with 52 SPD accomplishes this no matter what Owain's class is, since she only needs like +3 from him to double even enemy Assassins and will definitely smack all other enemies twice by herself, but Morgan with 50 SPD may not (which I can vouch for, since my last Lunatic Severa had 50 SPD and no doubling occurred on maxed enemies without a pair up). EDIT: Of course this assumes you don't have Limit Breaker, whoops, but I think what I said still stands since even if you have the DLC it'll take a while to tackle it.
  8. They are irritating, but your best bet is probably to position your units with notable weaknesses (fliers, usually, though in some cases mounted units if the enemies have a Beastkiller - this doesn't happen very often IIRC but worth noting) on the inside of a defensive formation or just far from the ends of the map where units are likely to respawn. They can be a little irksome to plan for on harder difficulties, since they're almost guaranteed to be stronger than you on Lunatic unless you grind, but it's definitely not impossible (and worse in some games like stated above, though I've yet to play FE5).
  9. I believe during the scene where she attempts to kill the Avatar, she states that she didn't actually believe it could be true having seen how close they are to Chrom/everyone else. So while she got the hint, she seems to have felt it couldn't be true. Also, I'm new to the forums, could anyone tell me how to spoilertag? It's been like four years since my last foray into a forum setting and I've totally forgotten how everything works, though I did figure out quoting. More on-topic, Nah/Brady weirded me out, what with the kiddie way it was presented. I don't wish it couldn't happen, though, just that it would happen in a less...weird...way (ditto Inigo's with her, IIRC).
  10. I find Lethality is generally a waste of time unless it's the next class up from your current one and you just don't feel like reclassing for something better (though this is honestly only applicable to Gaius). It has its uses as a filler skill, but most characters can generally grab something with more inherent use, especially Inigo. But yeah, stuff that's already been said goes here; Lethality's activation rate is stupidly low, so your friend's plan is decent, but certainly not the best choice when there are things like Luna or even Astra (x2 higher activation chance than Lethality).
