  1. Passing down Swords is generally not a big issue because Larcei can sell all the swords she inherits in the very first castle. Units who use Swords - like Ulster, Oifaye and Delmud - can just buy them there right away.

  2. It's amazing to see what kind of football ManUnited is capeable of playing if the coach just allows for it. Solskjear is definitely a disciple of Alex Ferguson and it immediately shows - what a difference to Mourinho's destructive approach that last game was! They already have good options up front with Rashford, Martial, Lukaku and Lingard. If they manage to fix some of their defensive shortcomings by buying a big anchor player in central defense - like LFC did with Van Dijk - and integrating homegrown talent into their starting squad they could become one of the UK's - and indeed Europe's - leading teams again in a couple of years.

Huge win for Spurs at Everton. They're only two points away from ManCity now and have a comfortable 5 point lead over their London rivals Chelsea and Arsenal. If those two teams continue to drop points and ManUnited continue to get back in shape then there's still a tiny chance left that ManUnited will see international competition at the Europe League next season, at the expense of either Arsenal or Chelsea. Meanwhile Spurs seem to be well on their way for yet another season of Champions League football next year if they manage to stay consistent. Could turn out be a great season for them if they manage to beat Borussia Dortmund and place top 3 in the PL and it may not even end there. Definitely more exciting prospects than boring ole Chelsea [sorry Alistel] and an Arsenal team that's still struggling to make moves.

  3. New Coach at Southampton - my fellow countryman Ralph Hasenhüttl is in charge now. Will he be able to "save" the club? It's quite a challenge and the fact that his PL debut is an away game against Spurs doesn't exactly make things easier for him. There is plenty of time however and the club is still only 3 points away from a somewhat reassuring 14th place. Burnley, Fulham and Newcastle all have tough games ahead of them tonight so it's probably not too late.

As a Chelsea fan, I'm hoping for a bit of revenge against Tottenham in February.

Chelsea vs Arsenal vs Spurs is gonna be where the PL gets really exciting imo. Three clubs from the same city, with a historic rivalry, currently only one point apart of each other and whoever gets the short end of the stick will end up in Europa League next season.

  4. Historically, ManUnited is one of football's biggest and most successful franchises. Ferguson definitely led their most successful era but they were a top level team before that. Right now they're under the reign of CEO Ed Woodward who is more concerned about expanding the value of Manchester United as a brand than about their success as a football club. Supporters of the club have been calling for Woodward to be sacked for the last 5 years now and if you look at the results it's not hard to see why. It's not just the fact that the club fails to meet high expectations, it's the way they're failing to do so that's really an issue. For the last years they've been spending astronomical amounts of money at the beginning of each season to get star players and coaches - and so far it has not been working out. If they decided to just tank it out for a while to give young talented players time to grow into a competitive team it'd be more understandable but with the way they've been spending money there really isn't any justification for how poorly things are going right now.

Arsenal won the North London Derby against Spurs which means that the Premier League is even more a matter of ManCity vs LPool now. In the long term I think ManCity is going to win it, even if it comes down to the direct confrontation between the two clubs I see Guardiola having the upper hand against Klopp.

I want to start watching Premier League games again, but I'd be a Manchester United fan (family ties, no other reason). Can someone give a summary of how our season's gone so far?

As a long-time supporter of United I feel like this pretty much sums it up:

as every season since Ferguson left, average at best.

Last season they lucked their way to 2nd place, the season before they lucked their way to the Europe League title. This year it's not looking like they're getting anywhere and it's well deserved. Their whole club management has been awful ever since Ferguson left, poor transfers and coach choices included.

  6. Fin!Delmud can inherit the Thunder Sword if Fin gets the kill on Jacobans in Ch.3 - it's the only sword Fin!Delmud has a way of inheriting so that's something you probably wanna consider.

Other than that Fin!Delmud and Lex!Ulster won't inherit any swords - but you can have Ayra pass down a lot of swords to her daughter, which she can sell to the pawn shop in the beginning of Ch.6. Then Ulster and Delmud will be able to buy them, just make sure that their respective fathers pass down a lot of money so they can actually afford all the swords they need.

  7. It's been more than a year since I've been around here but recently I've learned about General Horace's RR patch and I became sufficiently intereseted to potentially give it another go. I'm not yet entirely sure what I'm gonna do with it exactly [leaning towards ranked runs rn] but there's a couple of random things I would like to know about either way:

1.) How are the Knight Ring, Elite Ring and the Pursuit Ring in Ch.2 shuffled around and how are they obtained?

2.) What about the Wind Sword in Ch.3 and the Bridge Event in Ch.4? Can Deirdre just trigger them or are they just not happening? What about other unit-specific events like the one village in Ch.4 that Sylvia can visit or the Skill Ring Ardan can pick up in Ch.5?

3.) Is there any Gen 2 child that can directly inherit Alec's Gungnir Lance? If I were to pair Alec with Sigurd, would Leaf be able to use the Gungnir after promoting to Master Knight? Will he inherit the Gungnir in his base class even if he can't use it? Are there any other options to make the Gungnir available for Gen 2 that I'm missing?

4.) Assuming you can pass down the Gungnir to Leaf, is there a way to get both the Gungnir *and* the Gae Bolg down to Gen 2?

5.) Is the Balmung Sword still available in Gen 2 or did it get replaced entirely by the Swanchika Johalva receives? Is there a way to get Balmung!Leen via Ayra x Holyn?

I can probably think of more things later but those are the most important questions for now.

The european parliament is ultimately responsible for allowing the refugees in. They have the first and final say on European legislation.

The european parliament doesn't even have the right of initiative when it comes to legislation. All they can do is approve or reject the things they're given by the commision. As far as european legislation is concerned they have rather little to say.

  9. I agree with Horace that Percival is too high. I'd place Rutger and the dancers above him. Not sure if I'd place him at the bottom of top tier or the top of high tier though but right now I'd argue for the latter - I don't think he deserves to be in the same tier as Miledy and Marcus.

I wouldn't say that Alance are too low but rather that some units above them are too high. Tate has been mentioned a couple of times but I also have to question Astor and Shin being above them. Both are good but Astor's contributions don't outweigh the Cav's consistency imo and the gap between Shin and Sue looks a bit too big for my liking considering they largely fulfill the same tasks. Shin is overall better and more reliable but Sue is quite useful in Ch.7 and Ch.8, two pretty terrible maps. I'd probably move Shin, Tate and Astor below Alance and perhaps Sue up a bit. I don't really see how Sue can be below Noah when Shin is supposedly better than Alance and I don't see how the gap between Shanna and Tate can be this small when the gap between Sue and Shin is so big - these are things that seem fairly inconsisent to me.

Tate especially seems way too high. Either move Shanna up a fair bit or move Tate down [or possibly both] - there's no way that there's only two units between them. Flying utility? How much does she really do with it? She can be useful in rescue chains in 13 and 14 but past that she's strictly limited to auxiliary tasks and she's flat-out never really good in combat. Once Zeiss joins your party she's honestly not even a very good filler unit anymore.

Clarine went from being incredibly overrated [she used to be considered Top Tier back in the day] to somewhat underrated. She may not be amazing but she's still a good all-around utility unit with great availability and no need for any investments. You don't even need to promote her for her to be useful, you can just deploy her whenever a slot's free and she'll find a way to be useful via staff use or rescueing. Even as late as from Ch.21 onwards an unpromoted Clarine is a perfectly viable filler unit. I think that deserves more credit than her current position on the tier list reflects. She could likely move up as high as where Noah is right now.
