Personally, I'm fine with longer videos. Gives me more content to experience, and I can use up more of my time instead of ending up with an hour of time with nothing to kill it on.

I've got a cool idea in mind for the next one, saving it for either RFV or MAFC2, depends on when they are, and my schedule :p

Well aside from the fact that the entry period for this contest has been over for almost a year now, the main gist of how to make a romhack is as follows:
You'll need a few tools for the most barebones of hacking, reskins.
For that, all you need is a tool called Nightmare, alongside its modules for the respective game. This will let you edit a game's weapon stats, etc. etc. etc.
If you want to edit portraits and text, as well as animations, you'll want a tool called FEditor Adv.
There's several tools for making maps, though the most common are Mappy and Tiled.
Lastly, if you want to make a fully custom hack, with custom chapters, you'll want the Event Assembler, which is basically "code your own chapter" in a sense.
All of these tools are available on SF, and other sites such as FEUniverse.

tfw you're so early that it's still 360p.
In terms of the actual hack, it felt kind of rushed, and definitely could've used more testing, as evidenced by what happened. Ultimately, the hack was fine, but didn't really have much going for it.
Just my two cents.

Eh, no story spoilers or anything. All we know is that Conquest is very hard, especially at the end, though that's a given, since Conquest is supposed to be the harder one.

The remastered music can't be added in (to the best of my knowledge) due to how the GBA sound system works. The GBA sound system uses MIDI files and plays them for an instrument (trumpet in the case of FE). Think of it like one of those automated piano scripts for an instrument. If you try to do it with multiple instruments, the thing screws up and doesn't sound that great.
In short, NO, remastered music is not a possibility.
Maybe if someone tried to remake FE8 in FEXNA, it could work.

After beating the game, running the Ruins is like a cakewalk for me. Also, in the process, 2 of my extra characters died (Valter and someone else) though honestly, I didn't even use them XD.
On Level 9 atm!
