Just so you all know, speed runners and TAS runners take other peoples' routes/strats and improve on them ALL the time. I don't see anything wrong with taking his strat and improving it.
However I will leave the other parts of the argument to the rest of you.

Since many here won't know her most likely. Paola was a Fire Emblem fan who had a site (http://members.tripod.com/prince_marus/legend.htm) dedicated to Fire Emblem 3 back when Fire Emblem was new to the US. She was known for liking and producing fan art.
Why does this matter? Well I was attempting to find her old gallery, and when I finally remembered the location, it seems it's been (Not surprisingly) shut down. So I used the wayback machine to check out what I could of the older works.

This fan art is all from before Fire Emblem hit the west, and I figured some people here might be interested in it as you likely won't see most of it these days.

No I'm not dead. Not sure how many people from the early days still hang out here, but does anyone remember the user Paola (She had a few other alias'es I don't remember), and if so does anyone have a link to all the fan art she made?
I know this is a sprites board and a rather random topic, but I didn't see a fan art board, so this was the most fitting I thought.

Finding these in an deep ancient folder on my computer called "Fire Emblem" I came accross these animations from the "old days" (Pre-Sacred Stones), it's some really early animations a few users made for the eight generals of Elibe. I am missing a few I think (Like the ice lance one).

Well I have moved several times, but my home town (Bourne) was on the Cape Cod Canel, so that had a lot of interesting stuff. My current town I am not aware of anything special from here.

I remember way back in the GBA days when units like Wendy and Nino were considered the best units in the game? And the "Jagan" characters were considered useless (Which is now different).
I was just playing through a GBA one and it made me think of how the communities veiw on unit usefulness has changed since FE first hit the west.

Starcraft vs. World of Warcraft is an unfair comparison since they are two completely different games (RTS vs. MMO). Did you perhaps mean Starcraft vs. Warcraft? As in the RTS Warcraft? If so I prefer Warcraft, mostly since I am in to the old fantasy swords/dragons/knights/etc. kind of thing instead of the sci-fi theme.

I leveled up a bit in the new expansion. Too busy to hit 90 yet, but 88 so far. The zones look nice and oddly enough the pandas don't come across as a joke. My guild got server first world boss Sha of Anger, he was pretty easy though. I'm not a big leveling fan, so I am a little annoyed with the time it takes, but the questing is (By questing standards) pretty good. Much better then Cataclysm in my opinion.
I played the Pokemon gimmick as well, pretty fun imo. Although, I am not sure why some people hate it so much (It's extra, you don't need to do it, so why complain?).

A small taste of the WoW community (Although it's worse in-game in general). LoL is tame compared to most online games. FPS games are the worst, most players of them seem to have anger management issues.

That sounds cool; are you able to upload a picture of it to this thread?
My friend has the Xbox360 and I made it on his since I am too cheap to buy more then one current-gen console. But if you have it, it shouldn't be too hard to figure out, although sadly nothing like Execcus exists in the game.
Which name do you prefer, Wyvern Rider, Dracoknight, or Dragon Knight?

I'm one of the two people who voted Dragon Knight lol. I'm just most used to it out of them all. Wyvern always irked me as dragons and wyverns are seperate creatures mythically and the knights are clearly riding dragons. Dracoknight I guess is alright.
EDIT: FE8's Wyvern Knight is what a wyvern is. Granted like most mythical creatures the art style varies, but generally wyverns have two legs and a barbed tale, occasionally in some art their wings are a kind of bird-like.
