  1. Note: A lot of messing around in Nightmare happened this chapter so I could recruit the Tate replacement, because mountains. With that said, I bring you Chapter 10B now. Also, updates should get a lot less sporadic now that I've been out of school for almost two weeks
  2. Okay, now for Chapter 9. No level up screenshots this time because I made a stupid mistake by loading to a previous state that was several turns old at that point and I forgot which levels occurred before the state was written and which happened after.
  3. Oh hey, a double update for this. However, this doesn't have too many images thanks to the lack of new units and the chapter being mind-numbingly boring.
  4. FE1/3/11/12 (lumping them all together because why not): Haven't played too much of any of these games tbh FE2/15: Either Genny for being completely adorable and being one of the best Clerics in the game or Alm for being an extremely well written and lovable Lord. FE4/5: Still yet to play either of these games, I'll get around to it some day. FE6: Only played the first handful of chapters of it in general, but Rutger. For no particular reason either. FE7: Probably Hector. Not only is he an amazing unit, he's also very well written, and I like how he's a lot more blunt and abrasive than other Lords in the series. FE8: Joshua. He's consistently turned out to be my best unit, and he's pretty interesting too, what with actually being the prince of Jehanna and all. FE9/10: I've only played the first few chapters of Path of Radiance and have yet to play Radiant Dawn, but Titania. Not only does she have an amazing design and is a pretty good unit overall from my (lack of) experience, she's also a pretty great character, basically being the Team Mom of the Greil Mercenaries. FE13: This was an easy choice thanks to not being too big on quite a few of the characters in Awakening, but Gregor. He's a surprisingly deep character, and is pretty interesting because of his personality and vocal patterns. FE14: This one was an even easier pick thanks to either being neutral on or outright disliking most of Fates's cast, but Azama. I find it interesting how he's an Atheistic monk, and he's much more interesting than the rest of Fates's cast combined thanks to his generally silly and harsh personality, which is rather unfitting for a man of his status. One of the other few Fates characters I like is Arthur, but that's mostly because I tend to love hammy characters a lot in general. One character that I have come to love a lot thanks to Heroes is definitely Reinhardt, despite the fact I have never even played his home game nor is he even playable in that game. He's basically a god on a horse but with next to no Speed.
  5. This is assuming it's around the time their respective games take place, by the way. Best: Magvel, unless you're in Grado. There may be some monsters, but otherwise it's a pretty decent place to live. Worst: Valentia, no doubt. Both countries are at war, there are horrible monsters just about everywhere, the seas are mostly controlled by pirates, Zofia is going through a horrible drought/famine and just underwent a coup, and quite a few in Rigel are very much Social Darwinists (including the king). It's not even that pleasant a place 2000 years later thanks to Walhart.
  6. I'd really like to see it back in the games for a second round after their presence in Shadows of Valentia for Alm and Celica. It really helps with the immersion, especially when outfits are radically different after promotion.
  7. Favorites: Atlas. Probably for no other reason other than his fantastic design, because his characterization is pretty weak, as with most optional characters (sadly). Kamui. I'm pretty surprised my extreme disdain for Corrin in general didn't end up causing me to second hand dislike him. He's a pretty cool character, and he also ended up extremely powerful on my first run of the game that I unfortunately ended up having to scrap because of stupid decisions. Gray. Even if he's mostly just comic relief, he's at least genuinely entertaining. Alm. He's a compelling and very lovable character, and his dub voice actor did a fantastic job at conveying his emotions. Some of the more emotional scenes involving him actually made me feel something. Least favorites: Clive. I just find him to be extremely bland in comparison to the rest of the cast, and he really isn't too good of a unit either, at least in my opinion. In my second, actually successful run of the game, he had 188 battles and only 1 win. I'm not even joking. Faye. I really don't like her, because her whole personality is basically her unrequited love for Alm and nothing else. At least Cordelia had more of a personality outside of her unrequited love for Chrom.
  8. Yes. She's a complete beast as a Dread Fighter, and Dread Fighter bases help alleviate her issue of low bases making it nigh impossible to train her.
  9. Name: Marisa Kirisame Class: Mage Movement: 5 (foot unit) Personal Skill: Stealing (can "steal" copies of opponent's tomes by copying them) Affinity: Anima Personal Weapon: Master Spark (20 Mt, 95 Hit, 15 Crit, no special ability because 15 crit and very high Mt should be enough)
  10. Sorry for the slight delay, but here's Chapter 5! It was basically just a metric ton of free experience for Cath and Wolt, and we didn't get a new unit either. Fairly uneventful, too.
  11. Chapter 4 really wasn't to interesting, over half of it (that I didn't screenshot) was just Cath slowly fireballing Erik to death, ensuring her rise to Eldritch goodhood.
  12. Six iirc Robin, Lucina, Roy (boosted), Abel (boosted), Spring Camilla, and Reinhardt I'm trying really hard to get Hector now that there's the focus that contains him
  13. Arthur, Hector, Ninian, Reinhardt, Bunny Lucina, and Klein I just really love how comic book inspired Arthur's art is
  14. NOTE: Thread abandoned due to technical reasons, and the new thread/randomizer will be up shortly, and I'll link it when it's up. I promise I won't forget about/abandon this randomizer like just about every other one I've done. Welcome to my randomizer of Fire Emblem: The Binding Blade. It doesn't seem to be as popular as FE7 in the way of randomizers, so I figured I'd give it a try. This also happens to be my first time playing FE6 for the long run in general, so that should make this even more interesting. Here's to hoping it doesn't end up rendering this unwinnable as a result of not being able to get the Divinestone because of Fae being randomized. GENERAL RULE OF THUMB FOR STRUCTURE: First spoiler box is screenshots, second is growths/rating and commentary, third is level ups in the map. Without further ado, let's do this. Chapter 1
  15. Villager: Atlas (I just love how they took his ridiculously high Strength and based his new design entirely on it) Archer: Python and his godly hair Knight/Soldier: Valbar Mercenary: Kamui Mage: Mae or Delthea (I'm slowly leaning more towards Delthea because the fang is seriously the cutest thing ever) Cleric: Silque Pegasus Knight: Clair Cavalier: Mathilda
  16. I managed to watch all of them before they were taken down It was nice to see some of the game as a demo for me, albeit not in a language I understand
  17. I'm pretty glad they expanded on Grima, because in Awakening he was just a generic "I'm going to destroy everything because I hate people" villain with zero explanation
