Actually, its because in the game Aether is a lord only skill and Priam is a hero. But still I don't see why they couldn't let him have it since Ike from the spotpass and dlc has the skill. I guess they figured he'd be too OP?

I know what you mean. I got lucky and ordered one off of Amazon from a trusted third party granted with expedited shipping it was like $25 so double the normal price and I'll be getting it sometime late this week or beginning of next. I figured that Nintendo probably underproduced the Marth one and since alot of people play as him in smash bros it sold like hotcakes and now there is a shortage. I would keep checking Amazon just expect to pay around 26-35 USD for one including shipping.
Edit: Just checked amazon. Its backordered until November 25th but you can reserve it now to get it directly from Amazon for around the normal price.

Man there are way too many to list but i'll put down my top 3
1. Ike- strong badass who kills a god plus dat headband though
2. Lon'qu- silent but deadly badass, plus who doesn't wanna say "how well do you die" and mean it
3. Owain- self explanatory

I think its pretty safe to say that Priam is a direct decendant of Ike. There are way too many similarities. First shares his love of meat based food, obsessed with training, blue hair (Mist has brown and Boyd has green), and the biggest killer is that he has Ragnell the sword Ike brought with him when he left on his journey after Radiant Dawn. So unless Mist somehow found Ike, took Ragnell, and had a blue haired kid with Boyd I don't see how he's not a direct descendant.

That actually makes me wanna get one now. Makes me wonder if you pick up the Captain Falcon one and just train him to taunt the entire time. I guess you can say that *puts on sunglasses* you can show him your moves....

Could someone please explain to me why Marth is commonly shipped with Ike on the internet? I get that they were in SSBB together, but Marth was with Roy in melee, and now there's Robin and Lucina as well. Marth and Ike have little in common and neither one is gay, but people still ship them. Just to be clear, I'm not stating any opinion on the shipping of these two characters other than confusion.
Because its the internet and with the existance of many people's imagination gathered in one place...well lets just say there's a place for that. I don't really see Ike really having any romantic relations with any character in the games to me they just didn't seem to hint at that much unlike some things *cough* (Sumia and Chrom in Awakening).

I'd be down for a couple of matches. I think the problem is that not alot of people have Wii U's yet and smash did just come out today after all.

Maybe this is going way too far back but why not a game about Anri and the forging of Falchion? It could share alot of the same mechanics and features as Awakening only build on them to better balance things improve on them.

Super Smash Bros and Fire Emblem Awakening....so basically a fighting game where all your attacks are done through a dating simulator and building up S rank supports. FYI I love both these games.

As far as chapters go I think the perfect amount sits in right around 30-37ish with a Radiant Dawn style endgame (4-5 parts). As long as they are well fleshed out as long As Radiant Dawn was I appreciated the variety of missions it gave you along with having to split your army three ways toward the end.

Fire Emblem depicts fantasy battle. By that I don't mean the dragons and magic but by the general style of it. Everyone looks super cool. They jump ten meters in the sky. Wind will cause Chrom's cloak to billow even if he's inside. People take arrows to the knee and don't go down because they still have HP. Astra strikes five times and still the character can counter attack. I think blood would ruin that image. If you stick a sword through someone and they start bleeding, being able to instantly counter attack and kill their foe would just break suspension of disbelief.
Yeah that's a good point. I didn't think of that. It would look kinda silly to have someone gushing blood after five strikes only to then counter attack. If they put it in the cutscenes like if a major character dies it could still be effective. Either way FE is good enough without it but if they add it in i'm sure it'll be fine.

Haha how did you guess? But yeah i quickly realized in my first playthrough as good as MU is not pairing up is generally frowned upon in the later chapters.

You know come to think of it having an anime or series of anime shorts that aired on TV could be a good way for some of their lesser known franchises to get noticed. Fire Emblem and Kid Icarus could benefit from this and alot of the work is already done in terms of voice acting, style, presentation.

Just finished Kid Icarus Uprising. Highley recommended if you can get a copy. Its hilarious to listen to the dialogue between the characters and the replayability is decent.

I main Ike and sometimes Robin trying to learn Lucina as well. Yeah Ike players are pretty rare one thing i notice is that it seems like very few use his grabs and pummels which is a shame because his down grab and back grab give some good opportunities and his pummel gets about 3% per hit which is decent. Something else I notice is that dodging then using his jab combo seems to always catch people off guard since they don't expect a quick move and the last hit has decent knockback. I almost never use his forward smash while it is awesome its easy to read and dodge and get punished badly his up smash is far better since it has a huge hitbox and covers all sides. Something else i noticed is when falling if you use counter you will almost always land a hit with someone trying to juggle you and eruption sometimes can get a good hit in this way if timed right but its really risky. And yeah the thing about projectiles is absolutely true I got beat bad by a Duck Hunt player of all people.
