Yep, they said an accessory would be released this year for current 3DSs.

If they did include amiibo support, that would be great as hopefully that would encourage Nintendo to supply a steady stream of FE figures. I also don't think this game will be exclusive to the new 3DS launching last month, as judging from the gameplay shown it doesn't seem to be that graphically different than Awakening, besides the models having feet.

Yeah after I'm done with Sacred Stones I'll tackle FE6 if I can find an English translation, though if I can't I do have a Japanese ROM on my Ipod.
