  1. Disregarding the fact that Rye is on the brink of trivializing endgame Can we have a support between Rye and Ana? I can make it if you want me to, and the affinity's are wind and dark.
  2. So no changes right now, then? Also make it so he can't move on mountains. And know I really want to know the contents of the last chapter.
  3. Hey look, I unintentionally made an Est character! (even though that was sorta the point) I can see the point, and would lowering luck to a 40-60% growth and making the base luck lower (say, 4 or 5) work? AlsoIhavenowideahowtheheckbattlestatsworkcansomeonepleaseprovidemeaguideforthat Also the Garon idea is just...perfect.
  4. You haven't updated the magetheif skill yet, just wanted to point that out. Also I frankly don't care if "Garon's" sprite is actually king Garon, it just picked a name for the boss and rolled with it.
  5. Alrighty then! New skill: Speed+5(exactly what it sounds like.) Its overkill, considering the fact that Rye WILL hit the speed cap, and +5 speed makes it so that he can steal everything, and double everything (except wary fighter generals) also, the magethief can steal, and use lockpicks/that lockpick skill on the google doc.
  6. Magetheif caps! HP: 50 STR: 20 SKL: 29 SPD: 30 LCK: 30 DEF: 20 RES: 28 Also aid: 11 I honestly want to make speed 35-40, but that might be too much
  7. Okay, time to modify Rye's bases: Lvl: 1 HP: 9 STR: 2 SKL: 9 SPD: 11 LCK: 10 DEF: 4 RES: 8 CON: 25 If you think have a better way to adjust growths/bases, tell me. (If you wanna try to modify bases, try to make actually recruiting him require as little luck as possible) I hope I worded this right
  8. Also note to make Ana less OP: Dragonskin does not halve Luna. (that should make it less overpowered, unless Luna is a super-rare tome.)
  9. That is actually a great idea! (noting that were actually adding something like the swordmaster thing [lowered strength but swordfaire to show that they are strong by their proficiency in the sword]) Make the personal skill be dragonskin.
  10. 1. Your welcome lol 2. Sure 3. I just love making high-con characters I guess 4. That...Actually sounds like a good idea! BTW Rye's reason for 25 con is when he stole food and stuff he learned to carry a lot of things at once.
  11. Okay, new unit! Name: Ana Mug: [http://i.imgur.com/itkJ31O.png] Credit to Leviathan64 on the open souce gallery Affinity: Dark Class: Mage Promotion: Mage Knight Base Items: Wind Bolting Concoction Jointime: Midgame Stats: Lvl. 15 HP: 26 MAG: 15 SKL: 14 SPD: 17 LCK: 20 DEF: 16 RES: 10 CON: 13 Growths: HP: 50% MAG: 55% SPD: 50% LCK: 20% DEF: 60% RES: 35% Con gained by promotion: 4 R-Button info: A girl interested in magic. Lvl up quotes: 0-1: At least I gained some experience 2-3: Great! 4-5: YES! 6-7: This is the best day EVER! How they are recruited: Auto-join at end of chapter. Death quote: At least I did... my best... Final boss quotes: Rye: ...It is the end... ...No more holding back! I'll give it my all! Flute: With my music, I shall help my allies defeat you! Ana: You're going down, scumbag!
  12. Simple Question: Is their going to be Final Chapter quotes? If so, I wanna know.
  13. RANDOM IDEA TIME! Rye is unable to participate in a chapter because his curse makes him pass out or something like that. (Another point to the fact that magic CAN be used for evil.) BTW the master skills are essentially +x damage
  14. Okay, imma just scrap the faire skill idea because I DON"T KNOW XD (they were supposed to me magethief skills) Just give the magethief skills like this: LVL 5: +30 Avo. LVL 15: Miracle
  15. I have a simple question: If Rye was doing 1 damage from his determination skill, would the Faire skills stack on that? Or would it just add to the base damage? I wanna know which one it is.
  16. Could be, but I don't know of a portrait in existence :( Cool, thanks.
  17. Twenty-one sword users. Thats a lot of swords. Also how the heck do you read the part under the recruitment table, I don't understand it. Decided to do more chapter stuff! Chapter name: Truly Guilty Boss conversation when Rye attacks FIRST: Garon(the boss): So little boy, you escaped. Rye: ...Yes? Garon: What are you gonna do now, plead for innocence? That your not guilty? Rye: ...No. Garon: My my, your such a big boy! Charging in and killing yourself in a moment of glory! Rye: ...Please shut up. Garon: HAHAHAHAHAHAH! You, defying ME! You're gonna die tonight boy! Rye: ..I will not. Garon: What?!?! Surely you could never beat me! Rye: *closes eyes* Rye: Milord, send this man to hell when I shorten his sentence, and extend mine. Rye: *opens eyes* Garon: Wha- *battle start* Sound good? New mouse-over desc: A weak yet determined child. Kinda Religious.
  18. I don't see a bard/dancer yet, that needs to change. Name: Flute Mug: [http://i.imgur.com/RATlVu8.png] (credit to Chigai on the open source gallery) Affinity: Light Class: Bard Join time: Early-mid Personal Skill: Hyperactivity: Unit gains 40 avoid. Base stats: HP: 19 STR: 0 SKL: 10 SPD: 11 LCK: 9 DEF: 2 RES: 6 Growths: HP: 70 STR: 0 SKL: 40 SPD: 80 LCK: 70 DEF: 10 RES: 90 Mouse-over Desc: A bard from a musical family LVL: Up quotes. 0-1: Hey, at least I gained some practice. 2-3: Alright. 4-5: My parents will be jealous! 6-7: Why am I so strong...when I cant even fight? Death quote: Mother.. Father... I- Recruitment: From the start Supports: Rye B-Rank
  19. Reads Petitt's recent posts Well then, Rye would probably not become friends with Wilheim. I am still going to ask your opinion on it, however. When you spellcheck Wilheim, it comes out as Wilhelm
  20. More backstory I thought of overnight! Rye's parents were two proficient mages, working for the big bad guy thinking he was good. During the time they were working under the big bad, Rye read many of the big bad's texts, which contained many theories about demons and how to summon them, along with types of magic. When Rye realized what was going on, he tried to confront the big bad, only to see his parents being murdered in front of him. When the big bad saw him there, he cursed him with his most powerful and destructive tome, (insert tome name here cause i'm too lazy to think of a name right now) Rye miraculously survived the experience, waking up in a town a year later, with only a loss of some personal memories (aka he believes his family has been dead his entire life), becoming very frail, and unnatural white streaks in his hair. You can change this if you want, i'm fine with that. (I tried to put it in a spoiler, but I failed ;( )
  21. Rye's recruitment chapter stuff: The map is a dungeon. There are prisoners you can free, but they will either turn red and attack you with silver weapons of their class that you obtain when they are killed, or give you 2,500 gold and run away. Rye spawns guarded by a Lvl. 5 general equipped with a steel lance, and Two Lvl. 10 Druids with Nosferatu. To make actually recruiting Rye non-luckbased, he also comes with an item called lucky save. Lucky save is miracle with 100% chance. It only has two uses however, so you do need to be quick in recruiting him. The majority of the enemies are Lvl. 1-7 Generals, Halberdiers, and Berserkers. with either Steel or silver weapons. The soldiers do meddle in dark magic however, so pay close attention to their stats (Think rainbow sage birthright). Also, give the player some warning about these stat changes in the beginning of the chapter so they don't get super confused. The boss of the map is a general with Godly resistance, yet zero speed and defense. He is level 20 promoted. It would be perfectly fine to have Rye come and kill the boss to get like 4 level ups.
  22. Alright, The sprite looks good. I would say his affinity is wind.
  23. Just read that. I have now decided I will move Rye's joining time to Late. Note that. Also changed it in the original file.
  24. Stuff not involving characters! Weapons- Sword-Heavy Blade-Might: 20-Hit: 90-Crit: 5-Weight: 20-Rank: C-Uses: 15-Range: 1-Desc: A powerful yet heavy blade. Axe-Axehead-Might-11-Hit: 65- Crit: 0- Weight: 11-Rank: C-Uses: 30-Range: 1-2-Desc: This works...Somehow. Wind tome-Mince-Might: 6-Hit: 100-Crit: 10-Weight: 6-Rank: D-Uses: 35-Range: 1-2-Desc: Great for preparing meals. Sword-Rubber Sword-Might: 0-Hit: 150-Crit: 0-Weight: 1-Rank: E-Uses: 50-Range: 1-Desc: The training sword used only by the youngest of trainees. The Dual weapons from fates: Just copy the stats. Dark tome-Seeper-Might: 30-Hit: 30-Crit: 30-Weight: 13-Rank: A-Uses: 10-Range: 1-Desc: A tome that requires energy to work.-Hidden stat: Uses 50% of the caster's HP to fire the spell. Map Idea: Being forced to constantly advance on a mountain: Every 4 turns, A section of the map closest to where you spawn gets covered by a landslide. Units that get caught in it instantly die. The map is a strataway with a total grid height of 5 and a width of whatever (it just has to be by 5's) The area covered by a landslide is 5x5 and will appear at the closest 5x5 spot to the spawn (AKA progressively moving forward). The enemies are weak compared to your units, and the area where the boss is does not get covered with a landslide.
  25. Okay, didn't know. So you DO get the joke.
