  1. "I'm not sure how ok you'd be with it," Jericho started, "But I could blow on your face and hold you in my arms to simulate it or some shit like that." He was laughing at his own suggestion perhaps a bit too much, the stupidity of it, as well as the hammy literalness of it really selling it for the man. "Come onnn, give me a real challenge here!" He threw out in a mocking tone, a bit miffed at teh wagon stopping as he wavered in his place. Nothing fancy, nothing quirky, just sort of wiggling in place, annoyed.
  2. Eyes shut as he let himself relax, Jericho let out a tame laugh and said, "Oh you'd trade that quick? And here I thought I finally left a positive impression on a lady!" It wasn't an actual goal for him, he wouldn't say no if a pretty young thing walked into his life but he certainly wasn't looking, especially after today's events what with them being super fresh on his mind. Sighing, Jericho crossed his arms, feeling a bit more comfortable that way. Groggy as all get out, Mushirah found it difficult to stand as was evident by the heavy amount of leaning she did on Shadrak. She tried concentrating on other things, like maybe readying a spell in case there was a drastic need for one which wouldn't be out of the question in the current situation, but that made her mind hurt just thinking about it. Come to think of it her head just hurt anyway, focusing on one thing just made it a little less noticeable, and so she put her trust in Shadrak... for better or worse.

Connections: none Backstory: Parents had a kid, he was that kid. Being of mixed race (Neviskotian and Rexian)... Well that didn't change much of his life as his life took a turn for the weird when his skin itself started changing color on him. It didn't seem like anyone knew of a real cure for him, merely suggesting ideas on how to cover it up, but that wouldn't stop him from exploring every option he could think of or find leads on. His latest excursions brought him to the land of Kigen, seeking more ways to cure himself. Making a purchase for more medicinal ingredients, it turns out that he purchased the last of what some others desperately needed and after some quick negotiations he eventually settled for some food on their persons. This earned him a life-debt from the woman, something he hadn't expected really. Now he wanders... maybe.
  4. Mushirah nodded, mouthing the word "please". Having a bed to fall on sounded absolutely divine right about now, and just thinking about it let her relax her muscles, tension fading away a little bit. A bed, maybe if I dream deep enough, I won't wake up... Trade my reality for a dream... With that depressing yet very tempting thought on her mind, Mushirah shifted her posture to something a little more comfortable, though it might have looked a bit pathetic watching her squirm in place. "Mmm." Jericho grunted, not wanting to sound rude but at the same time he wasn't really thrilled at trying to give a definite response to the woman. Still though... "Maybe." he added, like a smooth class act.
  5. If it were just one person or thing it'd be easy to identify, easier anyway. That's why I think it's a culmination of things instead of one or two...
  6. That ain't even his final form, bro Also, as an aside, I kinda feel this place is getting really toxic as of late. Maybe it's my imagination but whatevs.
  7. "If time permits it and I haven't thrown up merely hours ago, i might be inclined to accept that invite." He said with a halfhearted glance and smile in her direction. Covering up his yawning, Jericho slumped in his seat a bit, not particularly caring how sloppy he looked at the moment. "I could really use a nap, or just a decent bed, anything softer than solid ground..." Unsure of what was still transpiring, Mushirah couldn't help but start to worry that things weren't going as planned. They certainly didn't for her, but she wasn't deluding herself into thinking things were based around her, at least not in this exact capacity. Chilled, weakened, tired, she stared at her right side, a feeling of dread being added to her current swimming thoughts as she sat there thinking about what she was going to do. Apathy struck her as she realized she couldn't draw or do anything she had set out from home to do until she could relearn it all with her other hand. Perhaps had it been her other arm that had been lost, or if she had preferred her left hand for her artistic endeavors she wouldn't be feeling as useless. Admittedly, it's the difference between feeling 95% useless and 90% useless if how she felt about it would be quantified. "I'll be alright..." she mumbled in a faint whisper, lying to herself.
  8. Jericho purchases an upgrade to his Heal Staff for 30 points and a level for 110 MAG SKL SPD increase HP:5 STR:0 MAG:11 SKL: 8 SPD: 9 LUK: 2 DEF: 0 RES: 7 Now he has 7 points left. Wiggle diggles.
  9. "I don't know, the thought of me falling off is just... really off putting." Jericho admitted in a pretty clearly defeated tone. "I'd love to like it but that feeling would get pretty ferociously marred by that nagging feeling of 'Oh shit don't fall over you idiot'." He winced at the mere thought of falling off and shattering something in his body, but otherwise he tried to share her enthusiasm for it, ending up giving a halfhearted smile to her. Are they coming with us? Jericho thought, unsure of what these other people would be doing. Aneda shrugged, still not seeing anything terribly wrong with Norbert but trusting her companion, "Yeah. I mean, thanks for the help all the same but I think he'll be fine. His friend here, good ol Rizen though? She's in a bit of pain and healing would probably help her not be so spooked out!"
  10. "I don't particularly get attached to animals is the thing. Never had a pet so it wasn't something I really sought after... It sounds backwards I know but still." He shrugged, admitting a small amount of defeat at his logic but not particularly caring to defend such an easy opinion. "I don't hate em, I can see why people would like them though!" Jericho said with some gusto. "I'm just a guy who likes some solid ground beneath his feet and his back. Nothing more~."
  11. I can't wait until a PM, Phoenix I need your body, NOW
  12. Beautiful? That word wasn't one Jericho would use to describe a wyvern, but then again, he never really grew up around them personally, nor did he have any inclination towards them. He supposed it was just a difference between a caretaker and a random onlooker having a difference of opinion and left it at that, though he still didn't quite get the supposed allure of a wyvern. "Heh, well, personally I don't blame you. Wyvern's probably aren't good omens around here, so having one, let alone multiple, would probably put some folk on edge. Look at you, being all subconsciously considerate!" Giving Norbert a good, somewhat thorough, look over, Aneda's untrained medical eye didn't pick up on anything completely life threatening. Maybe a cut here or there, but nothing bleeding or festering, like she saw on a few people during the fight. "He seems ok, just knocked out, though I wouldn't exactly trust my judgment on this. I honestly wouldn't be able to tell if this is too serious for us to treat or if it'd just need some good old fashioned R and R to fix up."
  13. "You wanna take a seat or...?" Jericho would've been a polite guy but he was already pretty much failign that having entered it before helping someone else in, thankfully that was all interrupted by a giant lizard head popping in for a second, eliciting a yelp from the redhead who had moved himself at least a foot away from the head. He didn't really fear the thing but it was a sudden thrust and bam, suddenly wyvern face, all of it. thankfully the face receded and a girl he saw from before asked him a question. "I want to say that's the destination, but if not, it's still going to be a destination anyway."
  14. "Oh come on, do I seem like the romantic type to you? Tsk tsk, you got some learning to do, young lady..." Shaking his head in mock disappointment, "Anyway, it looks like things seem to be wrapping up, so if you're gonna come with us or tag along and what not, awesome, hitch a ride." Randomly saluting the girl, he entered a wagon and sat his rear end down, awaiting transit to Weyland's with his arms crossed in deep thought. Or out of boredom.
  15. "Call me whatever, just so long as I know your'e talking to me and it's not derogatory" He smiled as he went on, "Well I wouldn't really play it forever but, hmm... I dunno, when I'm hurting, I probably don't want like some song number every time I'm down. You know?" Jericho shrugged, "Anyway, I don't think I'm bad but I don't want to friggin serenade you as you've got a bullet wound, hahaha."
  16. "I can see that, but look how defensive she's being about this. You'd think she'd never seen anyone else around her before..." That seemed odd to Aneda in a sense, but she wrote it off as the poor thing seeing its owner hurt, it being injured too, and getting spooked. "I just think maybe we could try getting her feeling better first before one of us gets hurt just trying to do the right thing to a scared animal. I mean if you can heal her or fix her, I got your back but uh... yeah." "Jerry huh? Haven't been called that in years, now that I think about it..." He smiled at her, reminiscing about days gone past before thinking about how she seems quick to apply some nicknames pretty swiftly. Eh, maybe she just likes doing that. "And I dunno about you, but if my music could heal, I could see that getting real obnoxious real fast, hahaha."
  17. Rolling his eyes at Angelica, Jericho went a full rotation right back towards Eva, "The name's Jericho, a travelling... Um... My name's Jericho, I set things on fire and I guess I know healing on the side though really I should learn how to work that into a song or something... Man that'd be badass, bust out my harmonica and just BAM!" A clap for emphasis, he couldn't hide his enthusiasm, but it didn't last very long all the same. Aneda walked in on Lumi acting super cautious, guessing what was up with all her shouting ahead of time. Making sure not to draw much attention to herself with wilder movements, something she totally would have liked to do, instead she just sort of spoke in a hushed tone to her companion. "Hey, Rizen's uh... a bit protective of her owner. Might wanna just take it easy until we can... Well damn, not much we can do. Where is that kid anyway? he'd probably have a better shot, heh." Hearing her rider's voice, Hannah decided to pay a visit too, nipping Aneda on her ear, prompting a yelp and a giggle. "Hannah! Oh come on girl, shush, don't startle me like that..."
  18. Um... Objectification? Being shallow as fuck? A tease? Desperate for attention? Maybe extremely wrong first impressions? Any of the above? Jericho mused, instead opting to remain silent and just give Angelica a knowing stare, that disproving look a father would give to his own child but wouldn't say why. He could already tell he didn't want to deal with this kind of woman.
  19. "Angelica, was it? She's talking about how the necklace attracts attention to your cleavage with how it's placed. Anyway," Jericho turned to Eva, "Yeah there's a bunch of people in the group. Super diverse and... super diverse. I dunno really, I haven't talked to many of them. Played a harmonica for a few of em and got a good reception for it I guess! That's something, they're ok around music."
  20. By the time the Nothing smoke had started becoming a concern, Aneda had already rounded a corner on her way to the stables, wondering how her precious Hannah was doing, as well as mister Star Hunter himself was doing. Wiping the excess blood off of her head, she had the brilliant idea to try and taste it again to see if maybe, you know, it would maybe be different this time. A few sputters and spits out of disgust later gave her the same conclusion.
  21. Feeling the soothing of a healing spell, Aneda recognized the flier who did it, waving before he questioned her. "Uh... I'm not sure. Tons of people were going down I think? I dunno, I wasn't paying too much attention aside from the monsters..." She was about to make a joke but then she just sort of didn't, like deep down she knew it was a bad move but had no real reason to believe it. Looking to Pete, "And now that we're better off than before" then looking to Lumi again, "let's go check on our partners, shall we?" "Ehhh... technically?" Jericho told the lady. "Though this was more planned than an accident I guess. From what I garnered we came here to pick someone up or something? I'm not exactly that sure any more." Man I wish I was in the know more about this but hey, I've known these people for hours at best... Well that explains a lot, actually.
  22. "... Really? You need permission? That Aneda gal just kinda took me in to his estate. Pretty trusting, that one... Either way, permission wouldn't hurt." Jericho interjected. He wasn't privy to much information and he was actually fairly skeptical on who this person was and why she needed to see Weyland at this time of night in the middle of what was probably one of the weirder nights this nation has seen, but then again if he was being truly unbiased he'd have to admit he was pretty shady looking too, wanting to talk to Pinky, apparently a nickname for Raquel, out of nowhere. His biased side said she was taller than him so he coudlnt' admittedly trust her right off the bat. Mushirah was more or less... well again her situation wasn't changing, she just sat there and kind of accepted the hand life had dealt her. She didn't have the energy to be mad about it, and so she just smiled, if not for herself, then for some others around her. Aneda scoffed at needing healing until he mentioned there was an actual possible danger. "Well..." she started, sounding defeated, "well I guess it wouldn't hurt, but if there's some danger on the way there there could be danger for them as well so we should hurry anyway!"
  23. "Mm." Mushirah replied, sitting down again and letting herself rest as Nadya suggested. What did I do wrong? Did I deserve this? Even if I did... why now? She reflected before coming to the conclusion that it didn't matter right now, taking as deep a breath as she could and exhaling it slowly to get some measure of calm for herself. She'd need help moving again, but the magician figured she could rest up and safely try to recuperate until then. Meanwhile, Aneda was trying to alleviate some of Calumeina's fears, "If they did get caught up in this, then you can bet your ass that whatever harm came to them would be repaid ten, no, a hundred fold when I can get the chance. And believe me, I'd make it my goal to hunt down whoever the fuck messes with my Hannah, and by extension your equally precious Star. Either way, yeah I agree, we should go check up on them all the same. We seem to be cleaning up more or less around here and we're not exactly on the most injured list... I think... You sure you'll be ok, dear?" She decided to ask one final time.
  24. It was a strain but with two people, one on each side of her, she was able to at least lean and shuffle along. She didn't particularly like having to rely on others for a basic function such as standing up but having no choice didn't really give Mushirah many options. She did her best to hurry along, feeling all around bad about life at the moment.
