    Sorry for delays on this post.

    @Shinori: Who are your stronger town reads at the moment? Even having just skimmed part of the game I think it'd be good for you to say them before phase end.

    @Kirsche: You should like take the tunnel goggles off and maybe inform the rest of us about your reads list and why you chose them. I get you were the pivotal figure in leading the Snike lynch and would be the most unlikely to bus, but still you gotta give us something other than "lol excellen is scum."

    @Eury: Yes it was a prod vote and I like your thought process and see your motivation to scumhunting. You're still kind of null to me since like you found my old slot's player PB off settling, I saw the same with Mancer.

    Consolidation time it is. Already said I didn't like the waffling on the Snike wagon, and stuff that Excellen brought up about his unwillingness to make tangible opinions is good, sheeps ahoy. I don't think people want to vote Yolo today either so there's that. He should really say something besides Paperblade "white-knighting" Vhaltz is scummy and that Rose/Shinori is inactive scum.

    @Yolo: What do you think about the Shin wagon that you seem to not agree with? Are you willing to consolidate on it?

    Also the fact that Yolo has tunneled on people hardcore is another thing that I see showing either laziness or avoiding generating reads for some of the game. Most of his content amounts to Paper/Gaius is scum, and he did the same thing to Vhaltz D1 until consolidating. It's ny the reads that bothers me, more than the lack of awareness towards the rest of he player base.

    Why did Excellen feel the need to crystallize his thoughts? He was willing to vote Rapier when he considered Snike just as scummy. The obvious reaction to Rapier biting it would be to vote Snike. Do you think Excellen is town or are you just defending him for the sake of defending him?

    I'm not impressed by Gaius' post. I don't know why he brought up Vhaltz for one and I don't think what he has on Mancer is very strong. I can't tell why he actually suspects YOLO either or why he considers YOLO a better lynch than Shin. Gaius, why do Rose's posts lean "overwhelmed town"? The post looks like stances for the sake of stances when Gaius is not actually pursuing anything because of them.

    - How is taking an hour or two to step away and think things other scummy? After a flip is generally a good time to reconsider what reads you have and check out how the game has interacted, and Excellen thought Kirsche was worth checking out. Not immediately voting Snike doesn't seem like it's "I'm not willing to bus my partner" more than "I should check what's happened so far and see if anyone's scummier before tunneling my old scumread." Regardless of what you all said, Excellen also had a good early Day 1 in my opinion along with why I think this case is bad, and is not something I'm sheeping/helping with. If not made obvious by this, yes I think Excellen is town. He does need to be more active, been ~36 hours w/o a post.

    - As I said at the beginning of the post of you read it, this also had thoughts from day 1. I wanted this post to make it out during the start of D2 but unfortunately that didn't happen. I thought some of my D1 thoughts might be worth mentioning for you guys to read my slot more effectively. Can't say much about my Mancer case, I stated everything I thought was scummy about him, although I'm looking at Eury's wall again, my vote was definitely a prod for content there. As for why I scumread Yolo, he wasn't very memorable Day 1 other than pursuing Vhaltz aggressively, as he seemed to be lynching/scumreading inactives at random. I found it pretty hard to generate reads when everything

    I don't like Gaius' post, something bugged me wrt how he went about Shin/Yolo since they felt like pushes that catered to possibility paranoia, more than pushes based on their likelyhood of being scum. Then Eury came around and did a very similar post so I shrugged it off, but in hindsight there's a pretty big difference in how the handle the Excellen slot compared to the rest. Gaius was pretty willing to justify Excellen despite their bad interactions with Snike (and while simultaneously being cool with pursuing Yolo/Shin) whereas Eury's analysis of Excellen's interactions with Snike was reasonable and her issues with people on the wagon were more along the line of "they're not confirmed town" caution than "they could still be scum!" accusations.

    I mean the basis of this is that I'm townreading Excellen unlike the majority of the player just and I'm scummy for it? I don't get where you found paranoia in my post, an example would be appreciated. I explained my scumreads better in my reply to Prims so look there if needed.

    Edit for cuts: This post is slightly outdated and talks about things I wanted to say D1 along with stuff that happened today.

    Alright, sorry for being unable to post anything major D1. Was job hunting all day and relatives were visiting at night. Anyway, I'm mostly caught up to speed with the game. Have some thoughts on what's happened.

    I don't think Vhaltz is auto cleared. I think it's possible that Vhaltz was building disassociation with Snike early game, and they accidentally built too strong cases against each other. Like, in my experience as scum in AM/PM 2, Marth and BBM were casing each other literally the entire game, and it led to solid town cred for Marth. That being said, I'm still town reading Vhaltz because his play has been quite good. I liked his logic when he was put into the 1v1 with Snike

    Yolo I noticed you voted me, and inactivity does suck, not much I could do about it unfortunately. Any reason you voted me/my slot over Rose or Mancer/Eury, who I know you FoSed, but you never really gave reason for picking me over the other two, who from your perspective are just as likely to be inactive scum coasting unless you give a reason for voting me.

    I remember people talking about whether Shin's role was town or not, and I think it's hard to tell because we never learned if Via's target was town or mafia aligned. And honestly, since Via had no kills, giving scum a possible extra kill wouldn't be out of the realm of possibility.

    As for the Excellen case by Prims and Kirsche, you say it's scummy to not vote Snike after having him as one of your two top priority scumreads, but Excellen has reasons in his post for voting Kirsche. You're pretty blatantly ignoring what Excellen said. He believed that Snike was going to be the lynch D1, but was wondering what reactions to his Kirsche case would be. Prims, after the Rapier flip Excellen literally said in post 264 (paraphrasing) "I'm withholding voting to let my thoughts crystallize." Why is it scummy for him to not vote Snike immediately? I don't see the lack of conviction because it's clear Snike was still Excellen's second highest scumread.

    As for cases I have. I think Mancer was quite wishy washy while he was on game, and most of his posts relieved on WIFOM/Meta reads instead of relying on scumhunting which should be a town player's greatest pursuit. Eury hasn't done much (I know I haven't either) so waiting to see what she thinks of the game. Among the inactives Rose seems more overwhelmed town then scum coasting. Hard to read the slot considering the low post count. Nullish overall. Yolo seems like he's just choosing over the inactives without putting any actual thought into who he cases. Less scummy overall because his defense of his D1 actions wrt to the Snike switch have seemed plausible to me. Was going to push boss today but that didn't happen.

    Shin is kind of off settling for me. Unlike Vhaltz, I'm a bit more wary of his turnaround on the read. Like, he seemed like he was still pushing Vhaltz in the post where he initially votes Snike, but later on says that the need to make it a 1v1 was enough to switch his vote. I didn't really feel that send rof urgency from Snike until Chaltz replied later on in the thread, and it seemed like an easy way for Shin to switch off a losing battle. Also I think the assassin kill role is alignment null.

    Mancer/Eury>>Yolo>>Shin>>Other people

    Fuck SF for eating my post. Now on phone and slightly angry.

    Eury I'm in the same spot as you wrt not reading D1 in depth, but Bossa shot Rapier who flipped town numbers (9/3/1), Kirsche claimed miller, and Via claimed flavor lyncher. Haven't read enough to memorize everyone's cases and scumreads but Snike is the likely D1 lynch atm.

    In the process of making a reads/general thoughts post right now, 16 pages is a lot in one sitting.

    Via, did the flavor hunting for Count Janus turn up anything specific that made you feel townie? Also idk why you're talking about assassin with no kill, sounds like you're just a lyncher to me. Regardless lynching a lyncher shouldn't be our highest priority today. Also a 1 kill night should partially validate Via's claim. Not the greatest at setupspec, but with Boss having vigged Rapier (who then confirms the 9/3/1 numbers), it'd be weird to have a 2 kill tonight when there's a no-kill ITP claim and a day vig already in the mix.
