Hi~ I have a problem where the game keeps crashing on me when Micaiah promotes for the second time and when Ike says "We are ready." I use Dolphin 4.0.2, PAL version, im playing on a normal mode and have tried many versions of Dolphin to try to get past that part, but it won't work. The only solution i found is to have Micaiah promote before i click end in the base for final endgame preparations. But i looked for it everywhere and I couldn't find PAL version for that code. The code for NTSC Remove Micaiah's non-promote skill again is 04886DEC 00000000 I have tried to add the numbers/hex that i found on the internet but I can't seem to get it right. It would be helpful if you can convert this code to PAL (which would be highly appreciated) or if you could help me understand how i should do this, cause everything I have read so far didn't really help me (mostly cause I have no idea how to do it, but I have tried), and I really don't want to quit the game on the last 5 chapters (i just need to pass that part with selection and everything should work properly after that). Or if you could tell me which version of Dolphin you used to avoid this crash Thank you~

Basically what sirmola said. So basically, if you want to play a horror game which is great do play Call of Cthulhu. Like i mentioned before, it's based on Lovecraft's work and it features many of his monsters and gameplay was realistic and great. Also, another great horror game, although also old, was Undying. And another is Alan Wake. It was very interesting and scary as well.

Now that we talk about Lovecraft, Call of Cthulhu was fantastic horror game. But old.

Hmmmm, i recommended it mostly because its similar to Higurashi in a way. Well, yes, you get more answers in VN in any case. But now that i think about it, watching its anime is pointless unless you continue on VN or manga i guess :/

I'm thinking of doing that as well. I wouldn't mind it since it's one of my favorite manga. But yeah, i think that's a good idea in any case ^_^

Yume Nikki was very creepy and weird, i agree. But it's so popular... Other games like Yume Nikki are Middens which was very creepy and tought provoking, but kinda freakier than YN, and Gingiva, also very abstract game. There is also Dreaming Mary which was........ very triggering for some people once you understand the story behind it. Higurashi was very disturbing but also made more sense in second season. So when you watch it, do watch second season too if you want explanations. Also, good choice is also Umineko no naku koro ni, which is very like Higurashi, but on a closed island, includes witches and lots of twisted murders and mysteries. I recommend both anime and novels, and in case you can't play novels, you can always read manga, as there are adaptations of all Umineko episodes. ^_^
