  3. It's generally not the best idea to overwrite mugs that use a regular mug and a eyes always closed mug. Look up how to edit events.

  5. Well, part of the reason that happens is because the game waits for the enemies HP to drain, but if that is what he is taking about then I think I know what's wrong.
  6. Is that really so wrong? I mean, you'd think a critical blow would be faster than a normal attack anyway. Force = mass * acceleration after all...
  7. Is this any better? I'm trying to base the flip off of the mercenary animation, but I don't know how many times that animation flips. I think it's twice.

  9. Here's the rough draft version of the "new" Hero sword animation. I think the critical frames are decent, and obviously the dodge frames are fine. The regular attack frames need some kind of work done to them though.
  10. Are you serious? The reason why no code breaker codes exist is because the portraits list on gamefaq's codebreaker code FAQ (where I'm assuming you got your codes from) isn't a list of portraits, but rather the list of character data. The three characters you mentioned don't have any character data that uses those mugs, so there are no "portraits." If you want to give characters their mugs, you have to use nightmare and edit the mug a character uses in the character data editor.
  11. Does FE11/FE12 even use sprites for battles? I always got the impression the were 3D models (for lack of a better term).

  14. Why are people picking Finale in Fear when it isn't character specific? It's a regular battle theme. Best: Unstoppable Destiny (FE10 Black Knight theme) Worst: King of the Sky (FE10 Tibarn's theme)

  16. The only thing I can think of is that you make it so that when a unit steps on the tile, it creates an event that causes someone with a gameover ID to die. Though I'm not sure if you can force gameovers like that.

  18. No. The max index for FE7 is A2 IIRC. Make that be A3 and insert the animation there. Then you just use the custom animation module.
  19. Put it at the end of the animation array/make a new index for it. You use the custom animation module and use the pointer you added on the animation for.

  21. Welcome to the world of sports! Similar things happen in the U.S.A. and the rest of the world quite often! Though probably rarely as bad as you might be describing, I'm not sure.
  22. Tales of Graces F isn't coming out until 2012. The latest sales of FE games in the U.S.A. would actually be a good thing considering FE9 and FE10 sold better in the U.S.A. than Japan and Nintendo probably only made a profit from those games because they were released in the U.S.A. FE11 also sold decently in the U.S.A. The most likely reason as to why Nintendo would probably be afraid to release this game is because it came out to close to the 3DS and because Golden Sun DD (another RPG) was likely a flop and definitely didn't reach the sales they wanted it too.
  23. I guess I just really like bright colors... Crap, I forgot about that. Anyway... Some pics of chapters 5 and 6 finally. NOTE: The next demo will have all mugs originally from FE8 using FE6/7 colors. I just didn't edit them yet at the time of these pics. The chapter 5 map (the one where it is raining aka the center one) was made by Aurawolf! It's a really great map that's part of a very challenging chapter! The rain will come in and out, but... The chapter 6 map isn't as tough as chapter 5, but if you are careless, it can be a pretty annoying one. Another thing worth mentioning is giving credit to Dr. Sholes for his mug that shows up in the bottom right hand corner! I just have to do the text for the remaining eight chapters along with the supports for all the characters showing up in this demo and I'll release the next patch.
