  1. I didn't quit the match, I left the room after the match was over. And it was Bowsercide in my case, not Ganoncide. And I'm pretty sure I met others that hated those tactics, at least back in the Brawl days. It's a reason I don't like them myself. I could see why they were hated.

And Yoshi, I'm taking a break too. I still have yet to open Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam. And I'm hungry. :P

don't worry about it also paper jam is pretty great

  2. Gunners moves have good knockback base but generally poor growth, meaning that Gunner KOing isn't as easy, and its super hard to combo moves into other moves.

    As far as Suicide Tactics go;

Kirby, King DDD, Bowser, Ganondorf, Diddy Kong, Wario and Donkey Kong all have them. Ganondorf is the only unit that can do a SD kill and win from it. All others die first if they full drop. I say if, because King DDD and Kirby can arguably make it bad if they don't go thaaaaat deep, but can still flub their recoveries.

Also also, pretty much everybody I have ever played with accepts the fun behind SD killing aka [Person]cide. If you don't want if to happen to you, don't get close to the edge ledge, or change up your recovery method and try to prevent it from happening. It's a viable tactic in virtually all modes of gameplay, and these moves are usually only effective if you leave yourself open to being punished by them.

ike and cloud can also SD with up b as well i believe

  3. The lag was tolerable. But I don't play with people that use those cheap and stupid suiciding tactics. Elie and Radiance may be okay with them, but I think they take the fun out of matches because you're just suiciding instead of actually fighting. That's why I left just now.

That Mii fight was awful... Your Mii had all the advantage with those stupidly ranged attacks and projectiles. I did okay though, I guess.

GGs overall though. That Luigi vs Mario was fun. I'm surprised I won it after your Mario just totally schooled my Dark Pit. I don't know if I feel comfortable with Dark Pit anymore though, it feels like he has too much trouble KOing people. I find that his side B is the only reliable KO move he has and it's hard to use it right. His smash attacks are too weak and I couldn't land any for the life of me...

wanna play me in smash i sent a friend request

  4. ok midayle is quickly becoming one of my favourite FE4 characters and FE4 has one of my favourite FE casts.

also i love the ending pun. can't wait to see more. also dew is entertaining with his quick wit. overall another great chapter in a great sereies.

also about the length i wouldn't worry because if the chapters are shorter than means less work and they'll come out faster and really as long as the quality is up there it shouldn't be a big deal.

  5. i enjoyed tne OVA. had some cool fight scenes, stayed true to it's source material, had remixes from the game and i love the scene with navarre ar the end of the second episode. however it did have a up skirt shot, a ton of still frames and an annoying gordin.

but overall it was solid definitely one of the best videogame to animation adaptations.

would like to see them try an FE anime again and have one based of each game. starting with FE1 taking the manga as a base. would also like to see FE6 if the idea of it being a sequel was already known.

  6. Favourite: myrmidons, most have memorable characters join decently early and can dodge tank like crazy. mages due to cool designs intresting characters and just being really useful (especially FE4). wyvern lords due to high move good bulk and decent speed also haar. Assasins because of their mysterious nature crit bonuses and lethality. mercenaries because of general bulk and well rounded stats and usefulness. also most lord related classes particularly FE9 Ike.

Least Favourite: knights due to poor movement awful res and mostly being forgetable however i do like using draug, gatrie and oswin. fighters because of their awful hit rate and not being too bulky however Boyd is awesome and barst is good. GBA archers because they just seem to be bad in those games but are completely fine before and after. FE1 healers for the sole reason it's next to impossible to level them up.

  7. It is. The argument that "Even a newcomer could solo this game" is only possible in theory, but a lot of people really don't view the game as a newcomer when making such an argument. It also varies widely depending on how much of a newcomer that person is. (First Fire Emblem ever? Or has it played every previous game in the franchise?)

An FE8 newcomer will probably use Seth a lot, but he would also use Eirika for sure, and also try out most other characters (almost every FE8 first-timer uses Franz). A newcomer will also definitely use a healer. Same applies to FE9 with Titania. FE13 also motivates newcomers with using lots of units.

Don't even get me started on FE4. The whole thought of a first timer doing a Sigurd/Seliph solo on that game is pretty ridiculous.

also a newcomer wouldn't know to get things like the vantage scroll in chapter 15 in the a random tile in the dessert and to combine it with vantage to create a great skill combo.
