FeMu was Lon'qu. Morgan has great hair and was fairly balanced. A little bit of a glass cannon though. MaMu was Lissa. This was a little bit of a train wreck, especially because I had some really conflicting asset and flaw that made Owain basically unusable.

I don't really ever use the kids if I'm doing a run with no grinding. Maybe Lucina and Morgan. So these may not be the *best* pairings, but if you need everybody as their base promoted classes and without grinding, I would say Stahl as Owain's dad is going to be your best bet. And I would say Kellam for Nah maybe, or Freddy.

By best they can do are you saying it's not a very good pairing? Because I haven't married them yet so I can still switch them up. My only definite ones (just because they're already done,) are StahlXLissa, ChromXSumia and Lon'quXMaribelle.

I mean in theory you could. Have a save right before it, and play it until your heart's content.

What skill set are an MU!Severa and Cordelia!Morgan looking for? MU is +spd/-def. Obviously with MU there are a lot of ways to go. I was thinking both of them might look ok with GF/LB/Luna/Ignis/and a faire. I could be overlooking something on either one of them but that is my current thinking.

Ya, I guess it just seems to me that the soldiers laughing at him was a much more believable scenario than the BK just planting his sword in the ground and everyone changes their minds. I'm not really trying to say that the character of Pelleas and his story are unbelievable, they make as much sense as anything else. What I am saying though is that I don't like him. He's kind of pathetic. But I do enjoy playing as him, that dark magic though.

I want to have have Awakening's amount of supports but of a higher quality. But if I can only get one, I'll take fewer at higher quality. I do want children to return, but one where we don't have quite the same control we do now, but definitely not around at the same time as their parents. Need to have two distinct stories. I do want physical classes to reign supreme. I don't want the infinite reclassing. Maybe even no reclassing. Maybe more like RD with three possible tiers but no sideways stuff. I don't want invisible characters. Like characters you just recruit then they're out of the story. Even if that means fewer characters, I'd be ok with that if they got to have an actual role in the story. I don't want my protagonist to have blue hair. NO MORE BLUE HAIR

Ok, fair enough. But, say Elizabeth II had been a secret and nobody knew that she existed. But then someone was like OH HEY JUST KIDDING. We do have a monarch. Would you all have been on board? That does sound like an unrealistic scenario to me.

Thank you Czar. I know that the game itself is beatable without doing all this optimizing. And indeed even apo is, not by me, but by people. I've only ever tried apo once and didn't know about getting LB from RnR3. So I got my ass handed to me, hence my looking into all these things. Then it just kind of turned into a weird obsession and I barely even wanted to play the game anymore because I was like I MUST HAVE OPTIMAL PAIRINGS. And for some reason for me it's hard to not operate in that mindset. But it basically seems like you want to spread galeforce and luna around as much as possible, as well as snipers, presumable for the high skill and 3 range you mentioned. Which to me sounds a lot more fun. One question I do have though is, are faire/aggressor that much better than having another proc, say astra( not that it's the greatest, but with these high skill builds it seems like it could be fairly doable,) and proc stacking for the men?

So when I first was becoming friends with the internet. Like middle school, everyone was using AIM and I couldn't think of anything to use for my screen name. And so I chose sthbdis because my favorite band at the time was Led Zeppelin. And it's short for Stairway to Heaven, Black Dog, Immigrant Song. Which were my top three Led Zeppelin songs at the time. And it just kind of stuck. So I think just because of nostalgia I continue to use it.

It's kind of like Irysa said in that it's hard to quantify what someone means by difficult. I've never played FE12 so this is ignoring that. (And this is assuming we're talking about each game's most difficult...difficulty Awakening is just cheap difficulty for me. Just a ton of enemies who are way stronger than you, especially at the beginning. I think FE5 is really difficult. As well as FE6. RD's not a walk in the park by any means either, well not until after Part 1 anyway. SS is a joke. PoR isn't very hard either. BS is harder than those two, but not as hard as the others.

It doesn't necessarily sound like you need a hobby. That's just something you soak yourself into, and it appears that drugs do that for you now. Not that hobbies are bad by any means, I think they help round out a person. But I don't think just finding something you're passionate about is going to actually solve anything in the long run. Maybe those feelings will go away for a little bit, but true change won't be found from that. I think you need to figure out what the root problem is, like why you feel the need to be on drugs, and go on from there. I don't know you from Adam though, so feel free to ignore me. Just what worked for me when I was basically living in one prolonged drunken stupor.

I can possibly agree that Pelleas works alright. What I don't like about him is his spinelessness. But I do see your point. Izuka is someone that we're not supposed to like, so I was just stating that the writers did a good job. But it is kind of just jammed down your throat that you're not supposed to like him.

I think everyone can agree that Pelleas and Izuka suck, right? But on a more controversial note, I have to say that Micaiah is pretty bad too, both story wise and game play wise. I also don't really care for Reyson. No particular reason, he just annoys me to no end. So does Mist. I really like Ike and Kieran though. *runs and hides*

I feel a little bit like a dork for posting an intro thread, but hey here it goes. My name is Travis. I've played Fire Emblem games for about...10 years? That in and of itself is weird to say. But uh, ya. Anyway. I like Fire Emblems 4, 5, 9, 10 a lot. Awakening is also good, not *quite* as good as most of the others in my opinion, but I still really enjoy it. I'm interested to see what FE will do after it since it was a pretty big shift away from a lot of the earlier ones and was such a huge success. Well nice to say hey. See you all around the...board? Alright, so first post here. I'm a long time Fire Emblem fan, and actually used to use this site all the time for figuring out growths, average stats etc. So always been a fan. Anyway, I played this game when it first came out. I haven't played in at least a year and a half though, and I couldn't remember who I paired up with everyone. Looking at this thread though, I can tell theories have changed a lot over that time. And I'm honestly not trying to be lazy, but there's just so much content in this thread that I feel like looking through every post trying to find the answer to my questions is going to do nothing but frustrate me int he long run. So when I was first playing, the general consensus were pairings that would give you the "nosferatank" build. Or the darkflier/sage support builds. And I just found that to be boring and redundant and it kind of burnt me out on the game. And not that either of those are out of the question necessarily, but variety is nice. So if anybody could help me out that'd be nice. Even if it's just like "Hey, these are some of the more accepted pairings today." Like apparently people like Virion now, who knew. Stuff like that. Anyway, thanks in advance.
