Alright. I was going to argue, but instead I'm going to try to be brief because to be honest I'm real tired of people like most of you on this forum. For context - I'm Deirdre, the main translator for fateswartable AKA the site your glorious Sunwoo keeps referencing. Also for context - I love the Nohr route. No, I'm not really going to explain why because at this point I'm so done arguing against people who think they know everything despite not experiencing the game firsthand (and yes, I regard having good enough knowledge of Japanese to understand writing tonally a requirement for actually being able to experience the game). Your minds are already made up. No amount of arguing is ever going to make me heard to you people. It's incredibly depressing to me, both as a translator and a fan of the series, but at this point I try not to care too much. I guess I can't say I've totally given up hope because I'm here, taking the time to write this out, in one desperate attempt to reach someone who hasn't been absolutely ruined. So I hope my message will reach those people. Please. Don't completely subscribe to the group mentality this place seems to have and view various peoples' opinions - preferably if they've actually played and can read the game - before forming your own opinion. I don't know if I even should make this offer because no one took me up on it last time I offered (I'm assuming because from what I've seen, this forum is largely an echo chamber), but if I don't think you're just trying to pick a fight or insinuate that you know best, I will try to take actual questions about routes or my opinion of routes (disclaimer - I've only skimmed parts of IK)

I'm Deirdre, the person who works on almost all of the translations on the site (we also have a tumblr where we post more lowkey stuff, like in-battle lines and generic my castle lines, as well as some supports. I also have a tumblr with a url that isn't appropriate where I ramble about the things I'm translating - sometimes it's quality mini-analysis, sometimes it's me complaining about how late it is. *shrugs* but I won't link to that because it's my personal blog and kind of a mess) Well, I saw some'd linked back to the site, so I suppose I'm dropping by to address any questions, since it might be worthwhile to actually ask a translator? I'll try to keep tabs on this since I did offer, but please forgive me if my replies are slow.

Again, it might be that Kamui also has limited supports and we just haven't seen who they can A+ support (trying to be optimistic......)

I didn't really see anywhere to put these, but I screencapped some options for f!Kamui from the stream (crossposted on my tumblr) Please feel free to add, especially options for male kamui! She looks so cute.... I really like her hair options..... Especially the last one in the spoiler cut below. Her face options were really nice too, and I could get them too if you want.... Yes, that's what I was getting at, they can A+ rank because they know each other because they're in the same line of work My point was that I don't think A+ ranks would be only lord/retainer relationships because Luna and Belka wouldn't be able to swear fealty like was proposed since they're both retainers What I'm trying to say is that perhaps not everyone can max support everyone this time around, so even same sex pairings are limited to who would actually make sense being together (Luna and Belka working together for instance)

The screenshot isn't Camilla's Support list though, it's Luna's. And she can A+ rank Belka so..... Perhaps pairing supports in general are just more picky this time and if a unit doesn't have reason to be with anyone else, they can't? Still doesn't explain why Avatar might not have A+ ranks but shrug

I'm playing Male Avatar first going Hoshido, and I'm gonna name him Brutus just because I'm firmly aligned with Nohr so it's gonna feel like betrayal all the way through. Then I'll go with Female Avatar on Nohr and either name her Madora or Elena (one being the name of an OC I already had, the other being a name I used as a substitute for Kamui to get people who weren't into fire emblem to objectively critique my fanfiction l m a o) of course this is all sort of a lie.... I'll be working with someone to translate the Nohr paths in the Japanese version but I assume we're just gonna stick with Kamui

Even so, it's not uncommon for characters to just.... not look like they aged in a time jump of about 15~ years or so especially in anime, and especially when doing so would need nearly all the units to have new sprites, etc I wanna add that the terribad layout might be because whoever doctored this (if it is an elaborate hoax) moved the real screencaps (felicia's confession cg, felicia/kamui convo, tsukuyomi/orochi convo, perhaps even the utena-esque cg?) around to make room for the doctored images..... besides that, some pictures seem to flat with the way the page bends.... so the entire thing might not be fake but.... still if 2ch is taking it seriously..... shrugs i wanted marriage, not..... this....

You raise really good points here, but I'd also like to point out that Felicia clearly names Jakob ("Jakob and Flora are covering for me!") so it isn't as if he doesn't exist..... Which is usually the case when these types of replacements happen (one is switched out for the other and since they fulfill the same role, the other isn't mentioned). It's.... admittedly a weak case, but I don't see the point of even mentioning Jakob if he's won't be playable call it a gut feeling, but ye
