Good point! I don't know how I didn't think of him before. If anyone on this thread is following SMT X FE, an axe wielder was shown in the E3 trailer. Since each playable character has a mirage from the FE games, and each mirage so far as been pretty iconic (Chrom, Cain, Caeda), maybe this character's mirage will fit into a Hyrule Warriors type game. On another note, does anyone think there would be devoted archer character? Assuming Lyn would be in the game, she could use bows, and Lucina could use Nidhogg in Code Name Steam.Edit: If there were, Innes seems most likely based on Jotari's list. If we had Innes, chances are we'd get the twins from Sacred Stones as well.

I could definitely see Soren. As for the Black Knight, absolutely! I think there would be at least one other axe wielding rep other than Hector, and a Pegasus knight. I'm thinking Caeda for the latter, but I don't have any ideas as to who the axe fighter would be. Lyn fits the role for a myrmidon or swordmaster, but we don't have a thief or assassin yet. My initial thought was Matthew from Blazing Sword, but if there's a thief that's more iconic, I'm all ears.

Camus and Hardin are pretty iconic. We'd probably only get one od the sorcerers . Probably Gharnef, as he's the original. Of the other 3 you mentioned, Nergal and Validar are pretty iconic, Blazing Sword being the first game in the west and Awakening being the most recent (and popular) in the series. We'd need a few good guy magic wielders as well. Merric, maybe? I've already brought up Robin, and he could use a sword and magic.

I have to admit, World was a great movie. It's close, but I have to say I enjoyed it more than the original. Jurassic World > Jurassic Park > Jurassic Park 3 > The Lost World.

I read or play video games to take my mind off of it. When I learned of Iwata's death, I played Earthbound, Splatoon, and Mario Kart 8. It's heartwarming how many people were playing as Iwata miis as a tribute in the latter. I watched the gamexplain tribute and discussion, and then stared at the Brawl in the Family tribute for a while. It really is amazing how many people Satoru Iwata impacted. He will be dearly missed.

Seems a bit lengthy, but the way you sorted out the characters seems pretty spot on. Definitely Marth and Ike, probably Roy. The trio from Blazing Sword, as it is one of the more popular FE games. Chrom and Lucina are pretty much a lock. Probably Robin, too. Amiibo functionality for the characters that have them is pretty much a given at this point. I think a few characters that transform like Laguz or Manaketes should be in the game, and the most iconic would probably be Ranulf. I'm trying to think of what villains would best fit the game. Lloyd and Linus, maybe? Ashnard, or a different wyvern rider?

The question is, what characters to add. I'm thinking a few lords and a rep for each class, but who would they be?

Isn't Ylisse a country? I don't think we ever got the name for the continent, but it's countries are Ylisse, Regna Ferox, and Plegia. Edit 3: Never mind. Just went on the wiki. Archanea and Akaniea are the same thing (something I could not figure out before) and it is a continent as well as a country. Ylisse is also the continent as well as the country. Sorry, I just had to get my facts straight.

A lot of protagonists will commit questionable actions for the greater good, but I guess that doesn't really diminish their hero status. I can't really think of an "edgy" lord in Fire Emblem. Honestly, in Awakening, sometimes you'd think Chrom was more of a princess than Lucina or Lissa.

F Zero still exists? Fanfiction fuel, but all of my yes! Now who would be Gumshoe or Larry?

With Nintendo adding popular Wii games to the Wii U eshop, hopefully it's only a matter of time before Radiant Dawn is added (They just added Xenoblade Chronicles for Naga's sake!). When GameCube games are finally added (I assume they will be), I think Path of Radiance will be one of the first, given it's popularity (though maybe not before Mario Sunshine, Luigi's Mansion, or Double Dash). In June, the DS version of Shadow Dragon was added to the Wii U eshop in Europe, but like Blazing Sword and Sacred Stones, it should come to the U.S. in a few months. Hope that helped anyone looking to play those games.

I don't think he'd be a boss. He and Marth are the faces of the franchise, and they are both protagonists. Speaking of which, I'm surprised we haven't seen Marth, yet we have seen Tiki and Chrom.

I'm sure I speak for all of us when I say, this game is freakin' dark! In all seriousness, though, I tend to get attached to characters. This is gonna be a tough game for me.

My favorite classes are theives and mercenaries. I guess you guys see how I got my username now. I reset whenever someone dies, unless I absolutely hate them as a character or challenged myself to do a play through without resetting. I'm more hyped for SMT X FE than Fates. I named a forged Thoron Kamehameha and a Rexcalibur Rektcalibur.
