  1. Unless the buyable swimsuits gave a really nice stat bonus or something, don't really care about their removal. If I want to see a shirtless Saizou, I'll make a male Corrin in Hoshido and walk into the men's bath!

There's also rule 34. I'm sure we all hate being reminded, but it exists. So there's no reason for Fire Emblem characters to be wearing swimsuits or almost nothing at all in the game.

    We don't need it.

  2. one thing to note is that in Kamui's support with Camilla, he... doesn't quite seem to reciprocate her feelings at all. It seems pretty one sided and... it's pretty much "creepy yandere sister wants her brother to do things/get in bath with her." in the S rank he's basically like "what the fuck why you're my sister"

    now I want cake

    Reminds me of ArthurxCamilla.

Despite having neutral feelings for each other and no love development. After doing redundant comedic support that show no character development. Arthur thinks he's developed feelings and Camilla just goes "You know what? F*ck it."

I find this kind of stuff annoys the shit out of me, when characters have no interest in anything, but because you supported, poof, it happens. It's shit design. It would make sense if they were just true friend's and the female adopted the child while the male acts like a father figure/uncle and teaches the child to fight. See, it's not hard to create scenarios that aren't half arsed like their's no effort put in. Not everyone needs to marry everyone and be intimate. It makes me so angry. This game could be so much better.

  3. To be honest, it's not that they intentionally make the DLC characters better, it's more like they a better idea of the way the game and characters works, and the DLC characters are benefited from it.

Well- Yeah. But characters on the original roster lose their superiority or fun. The power creep is still there, because you gotta pay money for these new features for new characters, something broke players can't afford or something that outdoes the rest of the cast.

I mean. Mewtwo 1st. Mewtwo was the same as the rest of the cast. Then Lucas, then Roy, then Ryu just got more moves. The power creep stopped there I guess. Because Cloud was good, but to a degree. Cuz, recovery and lag (No different than L. Mac). Tho, Ryu, is very hard to use and has high reward among being among the top tiers. Like Sheik, but not as high as Sheik.

These last two DLC characters seem very competitive based. Zero to deaths, amazing neutral games, incredible damaging combo's, powerful counters. They have it all. These characters almost seem Melee based to me. We wanted Marth to be close to Melee Marth, but we don't need Marth anymore, we can just pay for Melee Marth now.

  4. Kamui's side B is pretty much anti-roll. As is everything they have.

Take advantage of spacing. They're Marth... except you have to be a little farther away.

Side B is a wonderful move for movement and reads. It just has a high learning curve to use effectively.

Yiss. I love that move and have been messing around with it to see just all it can do. I feel like i didnt even find half of its uses. Corrin is all about spacing and i love it. They are a perfect fit to my playstyle.

Wow, I went back to play some smash with main, Villager, after a ~8 month hiatus. Corrin is defiantly A or B tier material. His/her power and coverage is insane. I'm not complaining; I've just experienced 3 really close matches with terrifying Corrin players who beat me due to Corrin's sneaky forward smash. -_-

I beat other Corrin players by abusing pocket. Villager's dragon fang pocket attack is super useful since they can paralyze an opponent and go in for a follow-up strike.

Corrin overshadows (My Edit:) The entire Fire Emblem cast.

    Color me impressed.

That's all I needed to hear. Excuse me while I get chair and some rope. :|

  5. ...!

This...this list is beautiful and I love you for it (and I also got Chie and Akihiko too...and a cool guy named Batsu...not sure where he's originally from, he is in "Tatsunoko vs. Capcom and Project X Zone)!

I really want to get the Black Knight costume ( for obvious reasons) and everyother DLC...not sure when I'll get Mewtwo and Lucas though...) :3

Uh, so um... There was also that Chrom DLC costume right, and I QR copied a mii of Chrom, which was to make an accurate Chrom for Smash. I then bought Black Knight DLC costume and put Chrom in it.

  6. I think it's rather funny than surprising. Apart from the Pokemon, we also have to take into account that most of the games featured in Smash aren't particularly story-heavy and sometimes pretty wacky, like the Kirby games. It's not like anybody cares about the Wii Fit Trainers backstory when playing Wii Fit. xD

Now that I'm thinking about it, I think the only major series featured in Smash that focuses much on story is FIre Emblem.

Edit: Haven't played FE6/7 in a long time. Has it never been confirmed who became Roy's mother?

I wanna say Ninian so bad. Because Roy would be better off a dragon... not a lion.

  7. Cloud has less range on it. It's like Ike's but it has a sour spot unlike Ike Uair which is brutal until it ends.

Though, Marth's FSmash is arc motion, it's unsafe on shields. Punishable. Corrin has range, and it's safer.

The reality is that they function differently, where Corrin's game focuses on vertical air play with a 45 degree variation from straight up, and Marth's is more of an aerial game focused at a 45 degree angle, with variations going 45 degrees up and down from there.

No matter the degree, the out come is better for a character that can get more out of t like combo's and easier KO's.
