I was originally going to go with The Blue Lions, but I was swayed to Golden Deers when we got the first few pixels of Marianne’s face. I absolutely love Rinea, and with all the new headcanons about Marianne’s heritage, she’s even better. Furthermore, I think Lysithea’s has a cool potential story (leak) and a cool design. Claude is also the best lord, so that’s a plus.

While perhaps an odd choice, I love the idea of a protagonist that uses a staff in the beginning. Give them a staff with infinite uses or something unique and I feel like it would be an interesting experience.

Hai! So, I thought up this article in the shower. Fates has been out for about a year now, so I presume everyone has been able to play it. I loved the game, and it's characters. I played through the game so many times, and have gotten to know it's characters quite well. However, there were characters I adored, like Keaton, Laslow, or Selena. Along with that, there were characters I did not enjoy as much. And so, I thought I would share my thoughts on who the worst of the worst was. Please feel free to join and tell me your worst. I thought I would seperate the judging into two categories. Portrayal, and Unit. Feel free to judge your least favorite character on one or both of the categories. By Portrayal, I mean how they appear in the story, supports, and overall role they play in the game. For Unit, I mean how they are as that. A soldier. Please do not turn this into a flame war. I only mean to share opinions. And so, I shall throw in my two cents. My Worst Character Award Goes Too... CAMILLA! Yep. That's my opinion. If I may explain before I am run through: Portrayal This is where my hate for Camilla stems. From the start, she is shown in cutscenes and the story terribly. In all cutscenes, she is never seen with her axe. Or her wyvern. Think about all the other cutscenes: Everybody has their weapons. Sakura even has her rod, along with Elise! Now, yes. Sakura or Elise does not have their weapons in their positive cutscenes. Nobody does. But everyone else has their weapon in a standoff or fight. Camilla's cutscenes are bad from the start. In the circle around Garon, she just waves her hands around and flips her hair. In Choose Your Side, she has no weapon. She is just shocked. In the third, it's just blatant fanservice. None of her cutscenes have an axe, wyvern, or use of magic. My next reason if her supports and role in the story. First, the story. She does next to nothing. She doesn't have many twists, other than defecting in Revelation. No other shocks, or major roles. She acts as only a support unit to Kamui, and acts as a foil to Hinoka. To be honest, I found the chapter in which I fought her in Birthright to be rather bland. The chapter wasn't bad, but the fight was forgettable. Hinoka was a helicopter. Sakura pleads not to fight. Ryoma and Takumi act serious, Leo almost kills you, and let's just not talk about Xander. Camilla, wants to hug you. Yep. That's it. Almost all of her supports are bland, and are almost centered about Kamui. However, I admit. There are some gems, like Benny and Ryoma, or Takumi. Other than that, she is boring and repetitive Unit Don't get me wrong: She's a fine unit. Quite good really. But with the characters I like to use, the doesn't fit in. I prefer units with growths similar to Ninjas or Adventurers. Camilla doesn't have any horrible growths, but she has what I call "Leo Syndrome." Her stats are in that slot where nothing stand out except her Strength. Everything else falls into a category that it's not bad, but not great. Not enough to prominently show through in her levels. So, she's not bad, but I prefer others. Now! Discuss among yourselves! Who is YOUR worst unit in Fates hmm?

Thank you everyone, for your input. I need another healer, so while you were replying, I got his Dagger rank to C. I believe he will do nicely as a Butler. He can make use of Flame Shrurikens to use his Magic. I really need another de-buffer. So, ergo, he will be a lovely and precious Butler. Plus, come on. He needs to be a Butler. ;)

No, I mean Skill as in then stat.

But Strategist has horrible Skill...

I recently recruited Forrest and am wondering what class to make him. The choices are Butler, Strategist, Falcon Knight, Kinshi Knight, Dark Knight, Sorcerer, Great Master, and Omnyoji. I am leaning towards Butler and using Flame Shurikens. His Mother is Sakura. Any input would be great ;)

So I like how the gameplay aspect worked. If it does come back, we need a pregnant status where they get -10 dodge and HP, but get +5 ATK. Either that or a stork...

I am really disappointed in it as well. I feel like they could of made it so much better. It doesn't give enough EXP, they are Aggro, the scaling is crap... Awakening's was just ten times more useful. It was $2, but still. Make the Map Pack $15 and leave it out for all I care. Either that, or make it better somehow. There's probably no way, but for what you use EXP maps, at least in Awakening, was to get you out of tight spots and grind for skills. Granted, Skill Grinding is so much easier now that levels don't reset. Even though I am playing Birthright, I still worry for the Conquest players. I thought this map was for better grinding in Birthright and a way to save the butts of those stuck in Nohr. That all said, it still does give some slightly better EXP than normal. Still, I am really sad about how useless the map is compared to Exponential Growth.

I am disappointed in the new DLC EXP map. It sucks so bad... They are now aggro, continue spawning, give no EXP, and overall just are really bad. Was not worth the tiny price of $2. EDIT: Granted, my units are like all 13 and I'm on Chapter 10, but I would still expect at least more than 1 EXP per kill
