    RE combos in Xenoblade X: the melee/range combo dmg up thing means you should use melee or ranged arts back to back in order to get the damage bonus. The bonuses are quite significant - you're missing out on a lot of damage output if you don't do combos with, say, some of the longsword arts.

      So if an arte says "boosts damage in a ranged combo", the arte's damage output will be increased if the previous arte used was a ranged one?
