TBH, cuz it's a game, the devs might've just wanted to do something dramatic...not sure though.

Aren't there laguz that can ORKO Meg though? That's what I'm comparing Aran to. Maybe it's just the bosses...

Some people say opposites attract. I thought they could be an item from when they were introduced, though I didn't see it as particularly strongly pushed. Well, she does seem like the type to love adventure, and it's possible no one in Hatari has been to "our" portion of Tellius in a long time. Quack.

Doesn't Meg get ORKO by some laguz in her join chapter? Maybe it's just the bosses...she's not unusable, but unlike Edward (ya I know many ppl don't like Edward that much but I find him usable) and Nolan, she doesn't have that very early-game impetus to use her that just comes from being one of the few units available. Aran, a soldier, outclasses her in just about every way including durability. Though it's true he grows speed slowly, BEXP can fix that. She has swords, which is probably useful given her low base skill, but it would've been better to just give her a few more points in skill and lances probably. Again, she's definitely not unusable, I have actually used her, but there just isn't anything IMO that makes it worth investing in her. And she also has that movement issue.

I think I was in grade school when I first went on the internet, but at that time, I didn't go on social sites. I mostly remember reading a final fantasy 7 fanfic series.

FYI: Seth and Titania have often been referred to as "Oifayes" (as well as Oifaye himself) for being better balanced for the whole game. Marcus is usually excluded from that though I did use him in FE7 normal mode all the way to endgame.

The thing I always remember first about Devdan is when he tells Ike something like "if you can't appreciate the beauty of a flower, you've already lost." We never do seem to see FE Ike find love. Then I remember Devdan trying to force Nephenee to smile. I'm not saying I dislike him because of it, I actually think he's great, but it is somewhat of a counterbalance.

Oh I just remembered, when I played Mass Effect 2 for the second time, I sent Tali through a vent or osmethning in the Collector Base at the end, and when she said she was getting too hot and needed to escape, I think I cried a bit.

Once me and a woman slew my dragon and when we were done she put her ear to my chest and said something like "I wanted to make sure it was OK."
