  1. I mean, I know it's overall sales were quite poor, there's no way around it. But it has so many things that make it unique (4-army battles, 3rd tier promotions, assignable skills, fighting against the characters you were controlling the previous chapter, the herons) that I think it would make it the favorite game of quite a few people (myself included).
  2. Haha, I did not even thought about that one. If we include it, then yes, I absolutely agree. While I personally think Fates is quite unremarkable, I have heard a lot of people really love it(particularly Conquest), so I don't think it would be last place.
  3. While checking the forums and the different topics, and looking at the profile of the people on the forum, I noticed there is a lot of variety on our favorite Fire Emblem game. So, that got me thinking, which mainline FE game has the lowest chance to be selected as favorite by someone? So, just to be clear. I do not mean which Fire Emblem is considered the worst, but rather, which one do you think is so unremarkable that very few people would name it as their favorite. And I don't just mean for people in the Serenes Forest forums, but the FE community in general. For example, an easy answer might be FE1, since it's so archaic compared to what came after. But, maybe there are a lot of 40-year-old Japanase people who might choose this game, simply for the nostalgic factor.
  4. Tibarn is usually the best or second best unit for me. But sometimes Ike or Mia end up better. That being said, the utility of Heron Laguz is unmatched, if you know how to use them.
  5. Really? I have memories of Edward and Leonardo changing portaits. But it's been like 9 years since I played Radiant Dawn from start to finish, so you're probably right.
  6. For me, the best one is Radiant Dawn. The official artwork, the CGs and the portraits are all amazing, with elegance . Plus, some characters get updated portraits when changing classes (I think it's the only FE with this feature). The worst desings. I don't like Shadow Dragon and Engage's art style, the first beacuse the characters have almost no expressions, and the latter because some of the character designs are too over-the-top.
  7. Yes, videogames played a major role. I did learn the basics on elementary school, but it was thanks to videogames that I could improve and expand my vocabulary. As for which games had the most impact, I would say Zelda Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask. There is quite a lot of dialogue on those games, but not so much that it becomes overwhelming, and, if I did not understand some sentences, there was enough context for me to guess what I had to do.
  8. No, I can't think of a single example where the first game I played is my favorite, because I think it's safe to assume most secuels improve upon the original. But, if you play several games in a series, surely is because that first one had something special. These is my opinion: Fire Emblem: First was FE7, favorite is Radiant Dawn Castlevania: First was Super Castlevania IV, favorite is Order of Ecclesia. But, if we separe classic and metroidvanias, IV might still be my favorite. Zelda: First was A Link to the Past, favorite is Majora's Mask Metroid: First was Fusion, favorite is Dread Mario: First was Super Mario Bros, my favorite is SMB 3 Paper Mario: First was the 64 original, favorite is Thousand-Year Door F-Zero: X was the first, GX is my favorite
  9. I'm from Mexico, the center-north to be more precise.
  10. I don't play FE Heroes, so I don't really care who is in the game already. I just picked my favorite characters. My picks were Sain, Sylvain, Tharja, Serra, Mia and Elincia. I forgot to vote one day, but probably I would have chosen Emperor Alvis.
  11. I believe the Blood pact magic and the Judgement have two different rulesets. While the Blood pact targets individual from a certain nation (since it has to be signed by it's ruler). Ashera's judgement instead is based on species since, as mentioned above, the Branded were unaffected, because Ashera did not know the existance of them . And, in the end, I don't think Crimea entering or not the war would have changed the outcome of Ashera awaking, since there already was a large laguz-beorc conflict.
  12. Hello. I'm not sure if this issue should be on this thread or not, but I found a mistake on the forum's Profile creation/edit page. When selecting your favorite FE game, Three Hopes does not appear on the list, even thought the first Warriors game does. I doubt Three Hopes is anyone's favorite, but it would be nice to have the option. Thanks.
  13. Yes, but I also think Ludveck would realize most of Crimea would side with Renning. If it came to war, he would lose, no doubt. So he might ask for pardon, in exchange for his surrender.
  14. About going to war with Daein, I agree he would not have launched a full scale invasion. At most reinforce the border and give some speeches, just politics. Also, I think it would be interesting to know would happen after Renning was healed and he returned to Crimea. Would Ludveck step aside as ruler of Crimea peacefully? Or there would have been a new civil war?
