Honestly, I'm happy for Lyn fans (I really don't care about her, but whatever), but I'm frankly worried for the general opinion of this game more. The inclusion of Lyn undermines their arguments of trying to balance out the roster. People are going to be arguing about the inclusion of Lyn over other lords like Hector and Ephraim... it's going to be a huge shitshow. It doesn't matter whether Koei or Nintendo insisted on her inclusion at this point, the game is going to be the primary target of toxic comments. Also if SD gets shafted while Lyn is in the game... let's say certain people will be REALLY, REALLY peeved. Edit: Oh yeah, where's Azura? She literally fits all their previous criteria. Character relations, from Fates, has the potential for a unique water-based moveset, and is lance infantry. She's literally perfect. If this proves that the leaks are real, then this is the biggest missed opportunity ever.

I like how the one thing I missed was the Warriors bit. Just saying, since the leaks might as well be real at this point... Warriors has had the worst PR I've seen out of any game, period. Totally can't wait for the shitstorm that happens because of it. Negativity aside, Octopath Traveler looks beautiful and Kirby Star Allies is 100/10 best game simply for swole Dedede.

Fun fact, Ike can actually beat the BK if you choose him instead of Lucina despite WTD. Probably just a little easter egg they threw in.

After looking at how my units would benefit, finally settled on Klein to make up for his neutral ATK IV which has repeatedly bitten me in the butt in the arena and cost me several perfect runs. Also I guess his +HP and the 5 HP boost would make him surprisingly tanky? However practicality is being thrown out the window as soon as Natasha releases. Then she automatically gets my support no matter how bad she is. SCREW META, I HAVE MY BAE. Ally supports are: Cecilia/Reinhardt Xander/Camus Julia/Klein Catria/Cordelia CYL!Lyn/Ursula Marth/Eliwood (for Tempest only probably)

Well, gauntlet's over. Surprisingly somewhat disappointing for me despite our first male AND pre-3DS winner (yay!). I joined Lucina hoping for a bloodbath with Lyn first round and the ultimate final match-up between Ike and Lyn, but didn't get either... Oh well, I actually got a decent amount of feathers this time and still had fun, definitely better than the salt fest last VG was. Shout outs to @Rezzy's Titania and @JSND's Cecilia. Got both of them quite a bit and they helped turn the tide against a lot against blues considering my rando pair ups were 99.99% Ike or another swordie. Didn't really get anyone else on here, a bit disappointing too because I really wanted to try Tybrosion's Soren. Good game Team Camilla! Sorry for the hell you guys faced after the semis, but this was a fun match!

I voted for Sticker Star. I'm not sorry. No but seriously, Sticker Star has votes mostly because people want to see Derrick go through the entirety of the Paper Mario series considering he never played it before and because people want Derrick to finally understand the hate for this game.

Team Camilla really has three main groups: those who legitimately enjoy her (not many on this forum, so it skews our poll), people who joined for feathers, people who just really don't want Ike to win either out of spite or a pre-existing hate. Each group is pretty large, so Camilla is going to have a lot of support.

Yeah the chart took a little to update. Before it showed Camilla underperforming during her multiplier but didn't update everything completely so it looked like a repeat of Lyn v. Camilla for a little bit. Sory for the confusion, when I checked it was about 10 minutes after the status update so I assumed the chart was reliable. Guess not!

Dropped in from lurking to say that everyone on Team Ike should probably start pushing their flags in. Camilla's going to get a late multiplier, and that would mean the death of us. Our best hope is forcing that multiplier earlier because there's really no way we can slow our growth that much to prevent a multiplier. Or, you know, we can just go with it and generate more salt than the universe can handle.

Couldn't Gaius technically be orange or even pumpkin if you want to go into weird flavors? Hell he could even be carrot. Either way though, the latter two would be terrible in candy and I hate the former so Asugi still wins out. Does anyone actually like orange flavored candy? Edit: I would be sort of happy we won, but overall I would be pretty upset at the flawed system. Leo shouldn't have won to begin with so it would feel like an extremely unfair match overall.

Setsuna: Victory, victory~ 1,900 + 1,800 + 500. Better than I expected and surprisingly my overall ranking stayed within the same bracket. I'm ~800 short from 20k, but a quick CC will fix it. I didn't hear really any of my units used by you all (except Tybrosion with my Xander once first round), but hopefully my Cecilia was of use to anyone in Team Leo or Corrin if you got her.

Honestly if Gaius wins I wouldn't even now how to properly describe how I felt. Simultaneous confusion, surprise, shock, sadness, anger, with bits of joy that a guy could win, but most importantly of all.... Extreme salt that poor Frederick and Leo could not be avenged

I guess one good thing about only checking in at the end is that I don't see much of the salt, I already have enough as is. But yeah, thanks to a mess up on my part, I'm ending with 400 flags leftover, hopefully that didn't tank my ranking too much.

Well, guess whose gonna tank their already decent cumulative score and joining Corrin for the curbstomp? I am~. No but seriously, even last gauntlet when I was on Team Elise I felt the multiplier sucked, this gauntlet just solidifies it. Victories don't feel as earned as they were before considering a few people playing strategically cannot alter the behaviors of the larger casual audience who spams flags 'cause why not. Oh well, I'm going to stop before this turns into a full blown rant. At least I can justify my bandwagoning by saying I prefer S!Corrin's artwork and her as a unit infinitely more than I ever will S!Gaius.

I actually still have 1300 left, all ready to spam for any future multipliers and in case our worst fears are realized and Gaius gets the multiplier again. Edit: Wow, the predictions are rather grim... I think Leo might've lost this unless divine intervention happens.

Well this is a dilemma. Just need to make sure we don't go overboard to give Gaius the multiplier again. That would be the death of us.

If we trigger Gaius' bonus, we have to pray that they'll go far enough to give Leo the bonus. If they don't? Welllll, we're going to have to spam all our flags fast. Really, it's best we just hold off entirely for the time being IMO. Giving Gaius' the bonus feels too risky.

I actually got your Nino several times, especially in the first round. She really helped a lot! I also kind of need her to show up really soon too. The only quest I'm missing is the green ally one and I just need one more. Also hopefully my Cecilia has been of use to anyone who may have received her.

Honestly I'm not sure giving Gaius the multiplier was a good or bad thing. He's really close to getting it. I'm probably going to stop playing just because I don't want to give him the chance.

Actually I was somehow able to get the bonus on my next battle? I honestly don't understand how that's possible but I'll take it.
