Glad this streamer chose Hoshido. I've been wanting to see more of it for awhile. Seems all the news we get is of Nohr.

Wow just the first few chapters are making me hooked on the story. Story spoilers below.

On the twitch stream this chapter looks like it will be super hard on Lunatic Also wanted to say I'm really loving the music on the nohr and Hoshido sides on maps and in battle. Way better than awakening so far.

On the Twitch stream this chapter looks like its going to be the equivalent to the prolouge in awakening on harder difficulties.like Lunatic IE: there are alot of enemies and you've got to find the most efficent way to feed the avatar in this case Kamui levels upon levels so she can do work throughout the rest of the early chapters. Just theorycrafting but I think you'd probably try and pair up with Gunter since his pair up seems even more broken than Freds, then kill enemies near the fort on the eastern side. Get on the fort, whenever kamui gets low heal her with joker/Felicia so they get exp also. Then just funnel exp into kamui. I likw the maps so far.

Watching the twitch stream MFW he feeds exp to the pre promote... pls no. Joker and kamui can kill everything on the map ez. Gib them all the exp pls. Edit: Oh god he gave the pre promote boss exp, whhhhyyyy

Watching this stream now too but I can't tell if this is Hoshido or Nohr path.

I will admit, even thouhg I can't read the text, just going off the context, the Nohr side does a good job of portraying the majority of Nohrians well. They seem like good people who honestly care about kamui except for Garon.

This is why I can't do Nohr first, Garon is such a dick.

Yeah. My first playthrough of each path will be as male, then I'll replay each path as female. Thankfully I like male kamui's design better than male robins. In awakening I have this conundrum where I love marrying tharja but don't like the way any male Robin looks, but I think female Robin can look awesome but then I can't marry tharja. Kamui looks much better on both genders.

I'm going to ship her with takumi because I can't stand the thought of another Cordelia. She was the first Hosidan I considered marrying but I don't want to marry her and hear her say things like "I would do all this and more for Takumi".Anyways I'm probably gonna marry Ryouma to suzuhana. Takumi to oboro. Hinoka to Nishiki. And Sakura to tsukuyomi.

Agree with this. If Kamui is going to be as broken as Robin was(which is very likely) you don't really need more ways to attack. Often times I'd just have Robin and Morgan as Sages in awakening since they can literally never die and one shot everything on lunatic bar DLC, giving them staff access to heal their allies makes them the perfect unit. I could see the the Nohr promotion for Kamui being better for the type of player that just wants to break the game in half and feed all the exp to kamui and have him solo maps since hes the lord and avatar and is the only one that needs to face any risk. Then yeah being a shapeshifting nostanking monstrosity will bulldoze the Nohr path most likely.

Reading other posts ITT I hope they did mistranslate all the dark magic on Nohr side. I was gonna laugh at the notion of Nohr being the harder path when like 80% of the allies on that side can nostank. Still glad i'm going with hoshido first, their classes are so unique and interesting for the most part. Also Hinoka riding that majestic bird is so awesome @_@. that class looks amazing.

For male i'm going to go with kamui and the only thing i'm likely going to change is the hair color to black. If I do a female run i'll be creative and change everything but the name probably.

Planning on doing a million playthroughs like I did for awakening but for my first Hoshido and Nohr runs respectively i'm going to marry Hoshido: Azura/Aqua. Some people feel shes forced but I honestly like her character so far. Nohr: I'm still deciding between Felicia(She seems very sweet and caring,), Luna(I REALLY want to know her relation to severa), or Pieri(She seems unhinged which reminds me of tharja who was my go to choice of marriage in awakening and also seems remniscent of Noire with her whole personality changes, I adored both those characters so i'm tempted to marry her)

So we know so far that there are some characters that are mirror images of past awakening characters. If they are related at all is unknown at the moment however something is off. The theory i've been going with is that not!Severa,Owain and Inigo are the children of the saved awakening timeline who have now grown up. Okay thats not too hard to understand. What is odd to me is if thats the case, why would they join Nohr? I mean they come from a peace loving country, i'm sure they've heard all about the stories of conquest driven nations like old Ylisse and Plegia etc, so why would they be like "Man i'm so glad we grew up in such a peaceful nation, oh look during our travels we stumbled upon two warring nations, lets join the one focused on brutally conquesting their peaceful neighbors" Its just nagging at me.
