Ya thats wut the other site suggested but my comp wont let me by normal means so I'm gunna try in notepad thx I'll have to find another translator I had no idea it was a E-J translator. *facepalm* Should have read the form more in depth.

Thats wut you were talking about I was trying to use the English patch to hard-patch the Japanese version of the game. I can't soft-patch it cuz its a .srl file and the only gba emulators that read .srl don't work on soft-patching right now I'm getting feedback on the site that gave me the file on how to chaing that but your help is still nice. I hope this info can help I'm not actually good at explaining stuff. lol

any chance you could refer me to the nearest English version because I can't find it anywere. :( And I cant read Japanese.

No its the Japanise game and its a .srl file.(they didn't have the .gba file and i cant find it anywere)

I am trying to hard patch the game Fire emblem 8 prototype(cuz my emulators dont support soft) it patched but when i try to run the game the first emulator i try just sits there with a blank white screen. The second one dose the same but is smart enough to tell me that the emulation has crashed. I dont know if its cuz the games format is in .srl or if it just dosnt work for this version. Plz help.
