  1. Lunatic BR is going smoothly for me. Somewhat. The fact that level ups are pre determined right when the character is recruited in their recruitment chapter is mind boggling. I know it discourages RNG abuse, but my Corrin being speed screwed for 4 straight levels is killing me.
  2. Wished I wrote supports that well... Including Thane's and NekoKnight's supports too. This one was my favorite on of them all (no offense, but all of them were really well done). To be granted, I never even wrote a support before... I might as well give it a try sometime. Ever since I've been lurking here since Fates' announcement, reading every single page about Fates' Story being a cluttered mess of good ideas with a disappointing execution overall. I'm a reddit AND gamefaqs visitor so I've been doing triple duty just out my hype for Fates. I decided to start writing a fanfic that makes fun of the story and Fates in general. A parody. I'm known as the laziest person to do work so I'll die before I even finish it.
  3. Or the Flying Death Mounts in Hinoka's Chapter. Is the General and Berserker Party Room Chapter 26 Conquest or Chapter 24 BR? I hated the enemy density in Chapter 24 BR. So many....Lunatic BR is manageable since it doesn't have enemy only skills that would kick your butt ala Conquest Lunatic. Camilla's Addiction (BR Chapter 23) is the "difficult" chapter since Wyvern Goddess keeps spamming PK Fire. Terrified of Lunatic Conquest because of Inevitable End. I wish there was some kind of restore staff....
  4. No, they're different. My Castle has the same code for every file so you have so be sure to update on the castle you want your visitors to visit there.
  5. If I had a nickel for every time Subaki said "Perfect!", I would be rich. Then again him saying "Flawless!" Is also annoying sometimes. It's sad that even in Fateslandia Niles wanted to punch his face for it.I'm pretty sure the bad support conversations thread and other places also diluted people's opinion on several characters. The drama about Soleil got her hate to the point several youtube videos and articles were made from that alone.
  6. Raises hand. I've been going as a +Def and -Skill avatar for a while and it's working out pretty nice for me in Conquest. I prefer surviving other than having paper defenses from Ninja debuffs and Spear Masters.
  7. The picture should have had Sacred Stones as "America's First Taste of Incest" era and the DS games should have been named "The Dark Ages".
  8. How come I didn't notice this poll in my Reddit visits? These are.... quite interesting results... I didn't know Subaki gets that much hate. Hayato is justified because Ricken 2.0, but Hisame? Jeez people hate bowl cuts on their FE characters. If I got to answer this, I would pick Subaki/Izana and Oboro/Nyx. I never touched the child paralogues so I'm not voting for them even though I have to. I relate to Subaki with his perfectionist image a lot especially with school. Izana more or less irritated me with his dialogue. I have a fetish for lance soldiers and Oboro is Nephenee's successor. Nyx's gimmick of "I'm older than you dimwit" with durabilty that gives Azura run for her money makes me wanna bench her. Her voice annoys me. I never played Awakening to experience the Awakening Trio and Expies, but I don't like Cordelia, Severa, and Tharja. I'm fine with the guys to be honest. Asugi sounds like if Gaius was recruited during puberty.
  9. "You're Nobody!" Is too savage for me to handle.
  10. Blade

    PvP

Sadly, yes. PVP With hacking is god annoying to battle with or battling castles with some pretty broken builds like the 100% Miracle build.
  11. You need to wait the kitsune's illusion's out for a couple of turns. When they're open, rush them ASAP. Beast Killer Effie is your savior with wary fighter.
  12. Burning Falls had BS Dragon Veins that didn't tell you anything but a one way ticket to desert movement with spikes.
  13. 2. Growths and final classes for the late game. However, you save money by grinding for skills other than repeadedly playing the Gold DLC. Plus, it gets really really expensive to buy all skills from the avatar logbook even if it's discounted. 3. It can, but it's pretty much praying for good level ups. 4. RNG is different this time around. No more true hit. Single RNG is calculated if the hit percentage is lower than 50%; this is to discourage dodgetanking. Hit above fifty is calculated (3*A+B)/4 where a and b are randomly generated numbers. This was found on the FE Reddit. 5. You can play Revelation automatically. 6. You can only tone down the difficulty anytime, you can't raise the difficulty as freely like Bravely Default.
  14. Too many enemies in Birthright's Chaoter 24. I hated every single second of it, and I don't care about "her". So many generals and berserkers..... Shoveling Snow With Zola is stupid, Tanking With DragCorrin Forever is a drag, Ryoma's Firewalls was a pain in the butt, Hallways in the Sky was annoying, and the Nohrian Scrub Brigade is worse than the Dawn Brigade. Screw Mr, Fuga's Wild Ride. Those Kinshi Knights and Spear Masters can go inside the Ninja Rape Cave for a taste of their own medicine.
  15. Lunatic Birthright only has threatening skills like Vengeance on bosses as far as I know. Lunatic Conquest is obvious. I don't know about Lunatic Revelations.
  16. 1. Conquest on Hard is obviously really hard especially in certain chapters where it was designed to make you cry. Endgame is one example. I suggest starting on Hard to try it out then slide down to Normal if enemy skills are too much to deal with along side the new pair up system. 2. The Pair Up system has been balanced since Awakening's lol galeforce pairings. You can pair up units as usual for stat boosts and rescue chains, but the supporting unit CANNOT dual attack anymore. There is a guard meter that fills up for every action commenced; a full guard meter will activate a dual guard 100% of the time. This is known as Guard Stance. Whenever two units are standing next to each other, they can take part in double team battle against an opponent. If the lead unit (the one who's attacking) is paired up, they can't use attack stance with the unit next to them. The supporting unit in an attack stance will deal half the samage they would normally deal to the enemy if the supporting unit initiated the attack instead, but they can't activate skills like Luna or Sol. Furthermore, attack stances are nullified by guard stances. The supporting unit's attack in the attack stance will be nullified regardless of any effective damage or critical hit at no cost of the guard gauge and this is recommeded for dealing hordes of enemies. There are new seals in the game: Marriage Seals, Friendship Seals, Heart Seals, and Eternal Seals. Marriage Seals allow the unit to reclass into their S rank partner's base class, but they DO NOT RESET TO LEVEL 1. If you're marriage sealing into a class that is unaccessible, it'll give you the choice to reclass into their secondary class instead. Friendship Seals will allow the unit to reclass into their A+ partner's base class which is more or less BFFs, but the unit's level DOES NOT RESET TO 1. Heart Seals are like Second seals, but the unit's level DOES NOT RESET TO 1. Eternal Seals are seals that allows any unit to go past the 20 level cap in their promoted class. They are very expensive at a 12,000 gold price. 3. There is no such thing as a best weapon for Fates as weapons are more situational this time around. Would you want more power in exchange for losing 2 strength each turn or a weapon that boosts attack speed? If it's one thing, bronze weapons suck. No tier lists what so ever, every unit has their own ups and downs. The male pegasus knight Subaki is different from Hinoka because of his higher defense growth and skill growth, but he is slower and a bit weaker than her in exchange for more durability. 4. You can. It's the major spoilers that'll ruin the other routes because it holds some answers to some plot points in the two stories. It's generally not recommeded to start Revelations as your first playthrough. 5. I can't say anything else due to spoilers so here's my two cents in it. I have no comment on it. It maybe bad for me, but I know people legitimately like the story because it departed from the usual vanilla FE story. Some of the chapters are diamonds in the rough and some moments in the story are satisfying to watch. 6. If you're playing Birthright, there are a lot of squishy units in that route so +Def is definitely helpful to tank. Few units in that route like Subaki, Hinata, and Oboro have generally good defense growths. There aren't a whole bunch of enemy skills in Birthright so you're golden to try out on Hard mode. If you're playing Conquest, try Normal to taste what the difficulty is like and decide whether you upgrade to Hard. Prepromotes are a okay to use in Conquest regardless of limited exp. Always know the enemy's skills and stats, it'll save you several resets. I cannot stress this enough. 7. You saw Caz's review on Conquest? If not, then good. No secret tips to go around.
  17. Err... You only need to visit three villages for the 10,000 gold so going out of your way to visit all of the villages cost you some valuable uses of your freze stave.
  18. Making the royal siblings the protagonists in their respective routes seems like a great a idea on paper. I would love to have Leo and Takumi being the protagonists instead of Corn, but it would make the mess known as Fates' story fall apart however. Corrin is the glue that holds everything in place because everything kisses up to the avatar, and some characters and plot points depend on the avatar. Since the avatar isn't the star of the show, it inadvertedly removes the thing that Fates have been pushing the whole time; the choice. It's nice to have a set protagonist other than a customizable avatar where everyone kisses up to you every second, but it would require the story to be rewritten from square one.
  19. I expect Ryoma to go out in blond hair and destroy everything with Rajinto.
  20. As long as there's no more offical artwork of girls bending down, I'm good. On topic though, Oboro is serving face and the artwork is giving me life!
