I joke about using the baloney tome all the time. TBH I never bothered to try to pronounce it correctly. I mean it's just the baloney tome to me. To the point where baloney is associated with FE now.

Zero -> Niles doesn't bother me that much because the logic is there. Nil meaning zero and whatnot.
Tsubaki -> Subaki bothers the hell out of me because Subaki means nothing in English. It's a pointless change. Either change it to the English version of Tsubaki, or leave it alone. Christ.
But then they'd have to change Camilla's name. Lol

It's all right, I'm sorry too. I keep forgetting not everyone has played the Japanese (or read the other thread where I already said that twice). And yeah, apparently, I pulled up my copy of Fates and went up to chapter 3 to double check, and the boss's name is indeed Mozu. The only stupid thing about her name change is that they changed it to something that already exists in the game. Which means they have to change THAT name as a result.
Haha I did play the Japanese game but I don't read it quickly so for things like a minor boss, I just tend to overlook it.

Most of the names just released are fine. It's Mozu that sounds the worst. It doesn't even sound like a first name much less a fantasy name. I understand that they must think non Japanese speakers might not pronounce the メ in her name but maybe Mozumi would have been better?

I have some baaaad gambling habits. xD I actually hate gambling for money but when it comes to art purchased on avatar sites where getting rich mean striking lucky...I'm not allowed to think about it anymore.

Comparing a character to Marx or Ryouma (and Takumi to a lesser degree) will make anyone seem underwhelming. They have good stats and ridiculously powerful ranged weapons in a game that did a lot to nerf ranged swords/lances/axes. And if Kamui turned out poorly, you probably goofed somewhere. In his default class with a +Strength mod, he has 75% str growth.
Let's be real here, I probably did.

Don't get me wrong, I love the chainsaw sword too. It's just that having that and being a transforming water dragon deer thing and being adored by everyone and being royalty of two different nations pushes it from "cool, if a bit of a self-indulgent guilty pleasure" to "unrelatable".
It's just impossible to really put yourself into Corrin's shoes the way you can Robin, and to me that means a failure to create a good player avatar.
I personally don't relate to Robin because of the way they respond to people but I relate to Kamui more. I don't think much of the royal dragon thing that much because the the royalty to more than one nation part is a point of conflict for Kamui. They also didn't know they were a dragon like Robin didn't know they were a vessel for Grima. And I don't know if I just messed up pretty badly but my Kamui ended up not being so powerful...way less so than Marx, Takumi, or Ryouma.

I like Kamui. But I don't feel like there's any point saying anything else because your poll says that you don't care what anyone says if they disagree with you. There was an official poll so maybe you should look to that?

Thank you for all the responses. I really hope the preorders weren't cancelled. My friend is pretty hyped for the game and I hate to see him upset about not getting the SE. I believe he preordered the day after the direct.

NekoKnight: My friend preordered in a store so it's probably just the in store ones. I can't speak for everyone else though.
Edit: Also my friend hadn't paid it off yet and he went today to finish it off but was just told this. Just putting it out there in case it means anything.

Everyone sounded...not bad. I don't really like Takumi's voice as much anymore but maybe I just had high expectations. The choice cutscene's line deliveries is different from the Smash one. Thank god LOL.

I like the look of silver the most but I'm used to wearing a bronze piece that I've worn all my life so I guess I like bronze too?
