Where is it determined that Athos was a prepromote? If anything hes in a class all to himself, like Dances and Bards. I choose Pent however, as pretty much for all the reason's Wist has stated.

I borrowed Skies from a friend of mine, I just have to ask him again for it, because I never actually beat the final boss. The story in game was fine as well the battle engine and ship-to-ship fighting which I thought was just awesome. A great game I think, too bad there weren't voice overs or good graphics. Definitely beat FE9's plot.

It's not so much of a challenge, just not as hard as other hard mode playthroughs. You should be fine with enough strategy involved.

We have 4 of the highest mountains in the world in out state. I can look in 4 directions since I live in a valley, and see all 4, but some are pretty hard to find if your not in the right spot.

Lloyd is just more badass, along with his custom Swordmaster sprite, he rapes in the Four-Fanged Offense level, especially with the fog.

That would make sense if it was a panel type thing, but it still wouldn't be that tough given the weapon bonuses and supports. Even though magic users can't take 2 hits, they certainly have enough mag to heal each other, as any Sage Druid or Bishop can heal back, so even a heal staff will save all the other units and each other.

I dislike the art in all areas, as it just doesn't look like the usual Fire Emblem that I've come to known. None of the characters look like they have emotion or any other facial expression besides "depressed". Battles look half done and the sprites don't look quite as polished as the other GBA games. I do hope they improve.

Besides, even watching the characters ingame I had a hard time figuring out what certain characters did. Like Hector's normal Great Lord attacks, because it just looked wrong.
