  1. My apologies for the mistake, thank you for moving it Eclipse. While I would like to do those, I don't want to do just the support growth speed as if they were the canon ones, I want ones that could work on a true romantic level as well. I am going to be adding several custom characters, one of them being a male dragonstone wielder, similar to Kamui in Fates - I also want to create original support conversations between characters that don't normally have them.
  2. https://www.fanfiction.net/s/11407615/1/Fire-Emblem-Awakening-Retold This is a link to my retelling of the story of Fire Emblem Awakening. I thought I'd polish up on some of it's duller points and add in some new elements to the story. But here is one thing that I'm lacking - relationship advice. This is the only thing I truly need help with, I'm using the Fire Emblem Wiki for the script of chapters so I can replicate it as close as I can, but I need your guy's suggestions. Who should I marry the units to in the terms of each other. I'd like your guy's suggestions for whom I should marry each unit to. I want pairings that would make sense, and would seem the closest to whatever resemblance of canon there is in the game. For those who are wondering as well, I'll be excluding most DLC maps, namely the Einherjar Gifting Maps, if I do include them, it will actually be the unit in their prime state. Marth and Ike are examples of this - I'll be using their Fire Emblem Fates versions and classes. But the main feature of the DLC maps that I will be showing are the three maps in the Future Past Pack, and the Apotheosis Map. But back to the topic at hand - I need the pairing suggestions. Comment whatever pair you feel is more canon, and if their supports are dull to me, I'll find a way to make them all spiffy clean.
  3. I'm probably still going to drop a ton of my stat boosts onto him rather than the Avatar, who I can just keep spamming the Eternal Seal on, since you have a chance to get them in the Duelist Museum Map.
  4. Thanks so much for the help. I'll probably be grinding severely though to get all of the skills, and there are DLC classes involved, well, if you count Dread Fighter and Dark Falcon as DLC since they do get scrolls for transformation, it's italicized. Ah, alright, I'll get to setting that up as well. Sounds much better for her - I was only going off the fact that her class in the Nohr path when you encounter her is War Priestess, and similar to how Lissa's sage class looked exactly like Emmeryn's in Awakening, I figured it'd be canon as well.
  5. You're very welcome, and as soon as I find ideal pairs for each possible character, I'll be updating the branches to include the possible pass-overs using the Marriage Seal and at the point, I'll most likely include the children characters as well, since at that point you'll basically be combining two units into one anyway. This list is far from perfect, for one I'm much more focused on offense, but if I can get some good defensive suggestions from others, I'll set up a second doc, label this one as the Offensive and that one as Defensive, and then make the perfected list.
  6. Hey guys, this came up in an earlier thread I started - about Fuuga possibly being a godly character because he can acquire both Counter and Magic Counter through his class branches, but I was proven wrong thanks to many individuals, who I'm thanking for saving me from a character with good skills, but crap growth rates. Anyway, getting to the point. During the conversation I linked to a google document, in which I optimized a skill set for all 44 accessible first generation characters in the Invisible Kingdom path (so no children characters), including Anna of the Spotpass Accessibility. I just thought it'd be worthy of it's own thread, so here it is: https://docs.google.com/document/d/10gA4bxkkf99WsCISABAXDL2P1HZy6vgQYoZ9TINNglY/edit?usp=sharing Now this list doesn't contain possible marriage candidates, and mainly banks off of what a character can achieve on their own (with some characters taking advantage of the A+ Support Rank. This includes Gunter, all the way down to Anna, alongside my specific skill choices for my competitive avatar. Edit: I'm undergoing a massive edit with the whole list, adding in the Personal Skills of every character along with added suggested weaponry. It'll take a bit longer but I should be done around tomorrow night. If you'd like to assist, do tell me, as it would help a ton. Edit 2: So they managed to make Mozume even more broken than Donnel. Line of Death + Extravagance with it's effects. Just by merely spending a Golden Coin in battle, you can make Mozume's damage output +20, and completely nullify the negative effect of Line of Death.
  7. Thanks for the suggestion, I'm just pre-planning halfway right now, but I'll be giving the rest of the document it's flesh when I actually have the game and am experimenting with what I can do.
  8. I more so want to be both unique, but optimal in their own way.
  9. I take that into account and make that change. Is there anything else you suggest, because I want to make this list as good as possible including ideal spouses, ideal A+s, etc. I just need a full list of who can A+ who, and not a Google Doc Chart, cause I'm crap at reading those.
  10. https://docs.google.com/document/d/10gA4bxkkf99WsCISABAXDL2P1HZy6vgQYoZ9TINNglY/edit?usp=sharing Alright, this should work then.
  11. https://docs.google.com/document/d/10gA4bxkkf99WsCISABAXDL2P1HZy6vgQYoZ9TINNglY/edit Does this work?
  12. If that's so, can you help design a skill set for all 45 first generation characters. I want to be able to have all of my units be their best possible so I can mix up who I play with every once in a while and not get as bored with Awakening play as I had. I want to be able to use a variety of characters whenever possible and use different selection processes for each battle I do.
  13. Damn, alright. I guess they had to balance him out somehow. By the way - I did create a possible skill list for every IK character (excluding Amiibo and Capture/Restraint Bosses and Marriage Classes and most A+ Rank Support Classes), and if anyone wants to judge it (with no holds barred, if I may request), I'd just need their gmail if they have one so they can see the Google Drive Document.
  14. Oh. Damn. Are his physical and magical defenses that bad?
  15. I guess you're right, but since Counter was able to be on nearly every single Avatar in Awakening, (I saw a guy who had all male avatars. dread fighters and war monks, stacked with Vantage, Aegis, Renewal, Limit Breaker, and Counter, all with their asset set to be skill so that Aegis would nearly always activate), I just thought it'd be cool to have a semi-broken unit in my Invisible Kingdom competitive. I also planned into adding a character with extremely high defense to be his support unit, for the boost in defense.
  16. I was planning to use my competitive team in the PvP play. I've so far decided to use my Avatar, Kaze and/or Saizou (considering they have the exact same skills for my set up.), Fuuga, and then I haven't decided my other two. I'll also be using a healer alongside taking advantage of the Staff option w/ White Blood, which will be my Avatar's final class.
  17. So basically with both skills, Fuuga is still a broken unit? I wasn't really looking for explanation - but thanks for the clarification friend.
  18. So I was looking through the SerenesForest archives on Fire Emblem Fates, and I found Fuuga, who calls himself the "Champion of the Wind Tribe". I as well found his reclassment options in the Invisible Kingdom play, since that's the only route he's playable in that one. He has Samurai, Oni Savage, and Priest. Oni Savage and Priest in conjunction make him pretty damn broken. As a unit himself, he can use a Parallel Seal to access "Shura" and "Mountain Priest". The Shura Class, gets the Counter skill (for those who are not familiar, Counter rebuts all non-magical sword, non-magical lance, non-magical axe damage. Was a very worthy skill to grab in Fire Emblem Awakening.), and The Mountain Priest Class gets the Magic Counter skill (Magic Counter is basically what Counter doesn't have, it rebuts magical sword, magical axe, magical lance, and straight up magic, but in return, doesn't rebut what the regular Counter rebuts.) He can obtain both of these skills. Which means he becomes pretty broken. He'll be able to rebut nearly every form of damage that comes his way, in which only Bows, Throwing Swords, and Throwing Lances can get through. So I'm definitely putting this guy on my competitive team, since the Avatars have been severely nerfed in Fates - I feel like regular characters are actually usable still outside of the main game. I'm equipping Fuuga with these skills: Vantage - Samurai Level 10 Astra - Trueblade Level 5 Counter - Shura Level 15 Magic Counter - Mountain Priest/War Priestess Level 5 Ogre Strike - Shura Level 5 OR Line of Death - Weapon Master Level 15. I'll also be keeping a lot of the characters their canon classes as their final class, so Fuuga will still end in a Weapon Master.
  19. Definitely. He hacked quite a bit out of the filing. I'm still gonna choose to wait for everything to be released. I wouldn't be surprised though that we get the three paths all at once - whereas Japan got Nohr and Hoshido - then Touma, a month later. The only thing I can see us getting in waves is the DLC.
  20. Bovinian, for some reason I cannot quote your comment, but are those confirmed skills?
  21. Well, that sucks. I had that idea after seeing that how SerenesForest described the skill Nohr as "During Attack or Guard Stance, user shares their support unit’s battle skills", and by battle skills, I thought they meant skills like Aggressor, which actually affected the tide of battle. I guess I was incorrect. I'll return to my original skill set idea of banking off Attack Stance - and dis-including the female Kamui, since she was only going to be involved as support towards the male Kamui. Basically my original skill set is the same for M!Kamui's, but replacing Nohr with Hoshido. Would that work?
  22. Alright - I need some assistance with this. I have an idea for a M!Kamui and F!Kamui work-together in Guard Stance, and I'd like some advice on it. Mind you - this is for my male and female avatars on my Invisible Kingdom competitive file, so be as harsh as you like. I'll accept all forms of criticism, I only ask that you keep it constructive, and if you insult my skill-set, I'd like you to at least give a reason why and a way that I can improve to be even better. Alright, let's get started :D We'll begin going over my male Kamui Avatar: He'll have Nohr from Dark Blood, Aggressor from Dread Fighter, Astra + Swordfaire from Trueblade, and Breaking Sky from Basara. His asset will be Strength, and his flaw will be Luck - with his final class being White Blood. Now for my female Kamui Avatar: She'll possess Hoshido from White Blood, Aggressor and Clear Mind from Dread Fighter, Awakening from Great Lord, and Vantage from Samurai. Her asset and flaw will be Strength and Luck respectively, much similar to my male Kamui Avatar. Now for the Plan: My plan for them is to use them as a Guard Stance unit that optimizes offense with the Male Kamui's Yato - Illusion/Final, whichever is obtainable in the end of the game. If my theory on how Nohr works is as it does, M!Kamui will be able to take advantage of Hoshido, Aggressor, Awakening, Clear Mind, and Vantage, so basically the whole of F!Kamui's skill tree. With his own Aggressor, Swordfaire, and F!Kamui's Aggressor, on my turns, my damage output would be the regular amount + 19 + the chance for Breaking Sky to activate, taking half of the rivaling unit's strength and adding it to my own damage, increasing my output by much more. Hoshido will also add +10% to chance for Breaking Sky to activate, making the threshold in which it activates even larger. Awakening is to ensure my M!Avatar can make use of critical hits more often along with hitting and dodging more often (hopefully). Clear Mind will allow my status reductions to clear up twice as fast in the case enemy player units try to do something funky with their Ninja/Puppeteer/Dread Fighter units. Astra, as we all know, will get the 10% boost from Hoshido, and allow me to strike five times at half damage - which in correspondence with the Aggressor + Aggressor + Swordfaire + Normal Damage, will still do a shit-ton of damage. The only problem I can see myself with this setup, is if Nohr doesn't work as I think - and it doesn't work with DLC skills or skills that the vanguard unit has on their own. If anyone can confirm it'd work like this - I'd love that news, but if it doesn't, I'd love some ideas. Important Edit: Thanks to "someone", I found out that the idea does not work, so thank you very much to him. I will however keep the post up for the sake of getting unit ideas for the PvP play and suggestions for their skill sets. New Motion: Another skill set I'd like to inquire into - is an Ophelia "Critical Goddess" setup. It works with her making use of Awakening from Great Lord, Ogre Strike from Shura, Vantage from Samurai, Line of Death from Weapon Master, and her personal skill, Blossoming Mind. The set is supposed to gift her a total of +60 to her critical rate after her health reaches half, allowing her to strike first from Vantage and do +10 damage regardless thanks to Line of Death. Does this strategy work, and will the chance of critically hitting the enemy increase to 100% if I were to gift her a tome that has a high critical rate normally, such as Excalibur, or a heavily forged tome, with max critical. Also this strategy has an open skill slot, and I was thinking maybe Warp from the Witch DLC (also keeping that as her final class for the situation.), but as I was before with information about the set up, I am open to skill suggestions.
  23. It's from a DLC map yet to be released. In terms of the Amiibo Classes, the only ones accessible legitimately, are Lodestar, Great Lord, and Grandmaster. The rest of the classes showed, Dread Fighter and Dark Falcon are available, Ballistician and Witch are not. He hacked to get Vanguard, Ballistician, and Witch.
  24. That's so damn useful! Now I don't need to worry about using up an unnecessary amount of Dread Fighter Promote Items when getting Suzukaze his best skill set options. I already planned out that Kaze and my male Avatar will be going into Dread Fighter first - with at most Ryoma and Xander to follow in the Invisible Kingdom storyline. Kaze's the only one that'll have the class as his final. By the way - speaking of Dread Fighter, with how they just vanish and stuff, does anyone else see it like a third tier Ninja of sorts. Like if someone were to put it into writing, you can't exactly have downloadable content in a story - but if you guys had the option to - would you set Dread Fighter to be like a promote to Elite Ninja?
