I wouldn't really say Awakening was revolutionary. The writing was awful and the gameplay was pretty lackluster by Fire Emblem standards. We are having a civil discussion. Awakening sold over 1 million copies worldwide. What are you trying to say? The game with the most fanservice sold the best. Why are you trying to debate facts?

Sex sells people. Never forget the target audience either. Teenage boys and younger men. Taking away from the fan service would be detrimental to sells. The games didn't even sell well until Waifu Emblem: Awakening.

If you guys really are complaining about realism in a fantasy game, then we might as well have no female characters at all. Fantasy games call for fantasy armor. I don't think the designs are good either but they aren't anything to throw a fit over. The fact that the armor is a little "revealing" is the least of our worries. The spikes on Camilla's armor just make it look a joke. But yeah if you really want realism then you should be complaining about women even being able to fight in the game.

Yeah and its not like armor really helped you that much. Spartans really just wore a fancy helmet and a really thin breastplate, but they were one of the strongest armies of that time. So having "revealing" armor really isn't anything too new.

Mmm I understand now. You guys don't understand too much about history. Really the only people that were ever in full armor were knights in medieval times. Spartans really just had that big ass shield to protect themselves.

Exactly this! These outfits aren't body armor. Its what they walk around in. This is a huge step up from Awakening if you ask me. We don't have another Kellam walking around in full armor all the time even when you reclass him to Ninja.

A lot of the men fight shirtless. Stop getting your panties in a bunch. The art director is fine. If their is anyone we should be mad about it is the writers. You don't see men complaining that Vaike was over "sexualized" even though he exposes more skin than all the Fire Emblem hoes you're all talking about. Grow up people. Just because you have A cup titties doesn't mean C cups aren't "reasonably proportioned".
