    I hate AP exams....

Some countries do take care of college expenses, most in Europe. They're the nice ones. But yeah, AP classes don't mean much, as it doesn't actually reflect too much of your work ethic, responsibility, or mind. All it really shows is that you signed up for summer work and more notes. Although, local scholarship committees seem to eat up everyone who takes them--so if looking to rake in cash, do lots of AP classes and clubs for your highschool and suck up to lots of important people. You'll easily get tons of cash for playing pet.
  2. Actually, they're prerendered and sucked when I saw them in action. Square pulled through and punched in a bunch of stuff. But when I loaded the game, it didn't seem too enticing. A lot more RPG than SRPG, if you know what I mean. I might try it again sometime, but turned on, and turned off basically within half an hour.
  3. I think Archers are speedier while Hunters stronger. But that's just inference.
  4. Perhaps the GBA games, but Fire Emblem is is and has been played in one location. 'Sides. Flashcarts give you portability. And... you contradicted yourself with the laptop bit :E
  5. Jake was the class--who is Anna's boyfriend or something. Nope. Not in the original. Likely to promote in the remake though.
  6. Ankoku: Maric, for now. Gaiden: Celica Monshou: That green-haired mounted guy from the first chapter of Book II stands out at the moment. Seisen: Celice... Thracia: Hicks >:o Fuuin: I kinda like Oujay at the moment :/ Rekka: Canas, I guess. Seima: Seth Souen: Kevin (Kieran) Akatsuki: Marcia looks a lot better--I guess her. Although, I don't have many favorite characters at all. I like tons
  7. But there's a huge difference between what some players newer players see in the word Nomad than from what it really is. I don't want to have another cheap Native American identity slapped on a class, when that's not what a Nomad is at all D: not to mention NoA taking reins again Did Kashim use the same overworld sprite as other archers? I think I remember seeing his hunched-over battle sprite in the game somewhere, but no overworld one >.>
  8. I can't remember their exact name, but that's basically them. Maybe it was Arch Knight :/ But yeah, that one. Though, they're already promoted in Monshou. I'm not sure if the "Hunter" class existed for Ankoku (FE1)... I didn't see any tiles in the banks, but then again, that's the only place I bothered to look. Kashim can explain this if you can see what he promotes to in Ankoku
  9. Nomads are only for the games with the storylines i.e. Fuuin and Rekka (FE6;7). There's no way Ulf is a Nomad D: Of course there's promotions: there were in the first, and we've already seen Paladins

    I hate AP exams....

AP classes, as it had slightly been touched on already, are hardly advanced. You just get some more useless work to memorize and do. Nothing too higher-education about it. But hey, it makes a lot of kids feel good about themselves, as well as school districts >.>
  11. Knight Social Knight Lord Pegasus Knight Dragon Knight Priest Mage Pirate Axe Fighter Sword Fighter Thief Ballistae Archer Bow Knight 14 Dragon Earth Dragon Soldier Dark Mage Commando Something like that. The original game has 22 classes, bases and promotions combined.
  12. In about order: 1) Gaiden (FE2) 2) Seisen (FE4) 3) Akatsuki (FE10) ______________________ 4) Thracia (FE5) 5) Souen (FE9) 6) Monshou (FE3) 7) Fuuin (FE6) ______________________ 8) Seima (FE8) 9) Rekka (FE7) 10) Ankoku (FE1) Each group seems to jump around location a tad every now and then, but this is the basic gist of the series for me. Gaiden is one of the ones I like dearly, and I think I may be playing it in the coming days. Its gameplay is addictive, it is an 8-bit game, and has nice music. That's all I need. Seisen still has fun gameplay for me, although, I never clump it in with Fire Emblem much anymore. Instead I just recommend it as a good game, simply because, it's more than a Fire Emblem while at the same time, less one. I suggest everyone try it once. Akatsuki was like opening Souen a few days after the JAP release in the States: lovely. I used to say Souen was basically a revolution of Thracia and Monshou together, gameplay-wise. Akatsuki, for me, only sugarcoated the deal. Although the music has taken a direct hit for the worse (majority of tracks are ambient :( ) I like many other parts of the game, and have actually came back around to playing it (currently Part III, Chapter 2/3 or so). I could stand without being forced into separate parties, which in the end, actually gives me less characters to play with (I like to play with new characters each time through), and the game also seems to have extra hours of gameplay in it. Last chapter, I particularly didn't like going through 72 characters to set up my final team, juggling skills and items-that was an endeavor in itself ._. I'll poke Gaiden for now~ You have a long while to go buddy. You might want to consider taking some of the honey while you wait.
  13. I don't see why not if Darth is still in it. I'm kinda sad Navarre and Oguma might be split into different classes. But that's likely just me :/
  14. And good mayor know how to properly supply electricity to all parts of their city, while at the same time placing fire departments in every high-density area.
  15. I'm going to get into Sim City 4 next month or so. I was really into the DS version of the series, simply because I'm always mobile, but honestly, that one sucked D: I haven't tried the sequel yet, but it's been out in Japan for months. Sim City is awesome, up until you basically get up into the higher standings. Then... you go and build a new town and try to get it larger too :o
  16. Abusing bonus experience is good when a unit has capped a few stats, and you want others to go up. If a stat is capped, and memory serves, the next highest growth rate is rolled over to and gains a stat. But the game really doesn't need to have characters capped at every stat, especially since all localized versions gave the ability of all characters to promote to the third-tier--there's a large difference in difficulty when only a few units can promote and every unit can. I always just went to 99--but you have a point with only 90. I might start doing that, even if it really doesn't give too much more :/
  17. It was a nice talk, sure ^^

  18. Well, you have the JAP title. You still don't know what it will be translated as--it may be the name in Brawl though.
  19. Depends on the version. The JAP version, third-tier was exclusive only to those with the necessary items to promote. In the other versions, every one can get to third-tier. This drastically effects the definition. Oifaye was good
  20. I didn't even notice ._. You can't prove it with such a blurred and reduced image; his blue boots may have bled into his skin tones in the resizing >:O~
  21. thisthisthisthisthisthisthisthis :D
  22. Bonus experience limits stat gains only to three stats though, so you're likely to miss out on a better unit if you whore him out in that manner. But for such limited use... you kinda have to if you want to use him casually.
  23. If anyone hasn't heard, the release date's been set as August 7th. Along with this, two new pics, one clearer pic from before, and one older pic were reshown; the clearer being Riff and Marth speaking, and the newer being Marth and Doga speaking, along with a DSLite showing Marth stabbing an enemy in battle. Old one I think was Ellis and Marth speaking.
  24. I like both, but only a slight of each, lesser so with ketchup. Actually, I'm incredibly picky when it comes to ketchup, which greatly upsets my girlfriend ._. I hate if its especially cold or thick, so basically packaged bits you get from a fast-food joint is what I prefer. It's for the same reason I would rather avoid drenching meat in various sauces: you take away the flavor of the main thing if you cover it in something else. Unless of course you like the drenching substance itself, or the main thing tastes horrible :X
