Definitely interesting stuff, I was wondering how the phrase was used in a Japanese context myself, seeing 风花雪月 in a Chinese context is used in that exact ordering. In Chinese it could be referring to seasons--and does so in its original, classic version, although in certain contexts it can also hold romantic connotations, or as a term to describe things that are fluff and without substance. I think seasons makes most sense here, though.

So I tried to pull Hardin on his launch banner bc I wanted Bold Fighter for Hector. Sink a bunch of orbs, do not get Hardin, give up
IS is like, hi Lumi we know you want to save but nah have a Hector banner and he's one of my main guys so I'm like fff gotta pull merges, I try Hector merges, no Hector
Managed to scrape together one last f2p orb pull, no green, fuck, pull blue since my Rein wasn't +10 at the time yet

Anyway so now Hector has Bold Fighter
Also any time Olwen pitybreaks me bc I probably want her more than [insert other blue] anyway

fun theme clear without using rein or ryoma, i like to think it's a game of family team tag or something, and they drew straws which is why sigurd is stuck with arvis & the ployboys, and deirdre is on banner with seliph and julia so she's lowkey on their team

Hoshido family vs Ryoma aka Ryoma faces himself
In which OG Ryoma proves himself as the superior lobster bc unlike Leg Ryoma, he came home. Like, 8 times. That makes him 8 times better, clearly.
Sakura using Fear and Guard is actually important this clear; Poison dagger ninja reduces Ryoma's defense to a point where Axe Armor can finish him off, and without Guard hitting the armor with Fear would trigger his AoE when he attacks Ryoma.

i might just exhaust all f2p orbs until banner end and then save up for 2 months, pull absolutely nothing for 2 months, and try again next time

Holy fuck he's finally +10
The wait between +8 and +9 was like 3 months and then it was another month and a half between +9 and +10 which included tossing ~170 orbs on Thracia TT banner for a 3 star unit and not getting him (on the plus side my Olwen got 3 merges, I guess we know who's the better sibling)
Not quite done yet bc I want to swap to atk -res but I haven't gotten one of those

I did it with my usual squad too but that was like place ryoma to win as usual, so I got a theme team clear. Granted, Seliph didn't really do much combat, but I had no good IV Seliphs so I didn't want to 5* him just yet. Drive atk and draw back is pretty useful though. Leadership stars!
Please appreciate Rein's skills for this. I gave him a super extra set for payback for sending him to die in chapter 22.

I ended up having to fish again for 728*4 + 730 (3642) because 726*3 + 728 * 2 (3634) was looking too close to dropping for my liking. Not really a fan of the new changes as a borderline T20 stayer. Ryoma bonus this week at least gives me the flexibility of using whatever as my 4th unit so I can score optimize that but next week I don't have the luxury of that so it's probably gonna be rough.

Ryoma has full ownership of my orbs whenever he's on a banner
Anyway he's +7 now, was at +4 at the start of banner
3 more to go! Probably will have to start saving orbs again for his future banners though I really hope he doesn't get an alt to throw that off for me soon -

I find there's not much point to trying to patch up res unless running a dc build or something and atiki is the only real melee res-hitting thing he should really worry about and she's not fast enough to hit twice so one hit isn't gonna kill him.
That being said there's always just giving Finn all the lances because Finn deserves the best. Mine has his native Brave, Slaying Lance, Slaying Spear, and Casa Blanca so far. It will expand.

I have a slaying lance (spd) finn (fury, qr3, cd seal, bonfire, for mixed phase) built but i've been running him with casablanca for the aesthetics. It looks really nice on him. Such a pretty lance. Shame there's only 1 extra copy if you want to keep 1 of VEliwood around, but since Finn is my favorite lance-using character in the series there's no better person than him I can give that to. Glad I saved up 138k feathers for his SI because by the end of it I had about 55k left.
Finn + Olwen * 2 + Priscilla is probably my most reliable Auto L5 clear team other than that one time Ryoma was bonus.
Also, Egg (Def Refine) CC Rein is hilarious to use. I use him for my L7 manual clears since he has a shitton of HM but man those TT bonuses really enable some silly builds on him. Egg even gives him some extra regen on the side. It's pretty nice.

Meisterschwert is good, but I do not think it is that over powered, although that perception is shaped by the types of units a player primarily runs. Since I use Firesweep archers, as long as they do not release a skill that disables Firesweep, Enemy Phase units and melee units never really faze me, unless it is one of those units designed for survival and paired with a ton of Wings of Mercy teammates.
You can really say that about anything besides like, wrazzle dazzle gravity horse healers, though. Most stuff can be countered by something. I generally measure power by how good it can be in player hands, not how annoying it'd be to fight against.

I'm annoyed because Finn's brave lance is a prf weapon in Thracia, unlike in FE4. There's nothing stopping TT units from having Prfs, like with BK and Joshua, there's nothing stopping 2 weapons from having the same effect on the same release period, like Ivaldi and Glephnir, and characters are getting prfs that never existed---which I'm not saying they shouldn't, but I think it's dumb that Finn can't even get his actual prf when people who don't have them get them. If they don't want something as strong as Meisterschwert handed out for free--which I think it wouldn't be that impactful on a no-iv merge once unit anyway but understandable--he really could've still gotten something, without being OP. Especially since he keeps on talking about it.
Plus, it's not like they didn't make BK.
Some people in some chats I'm in mentioned putting guard on his lance as a homage to the +10 luck since luck is crit negating and I thought that could be cool.

Yeah I'm pretty bummed about Finn's lack of prf, when people who didn't even have prfs are getting prfs it's stupid that the guy who actually has a prf didn't. Looking at his statline I'm thinking of building him more mixed/enemy phase with a slaying lance. Got 128k feathers saved up and will promote whoever I need to for any 5* SI.

TT bonuses is gonna be fun with my +9 OG Rein. Got some meme builds I want to run on him that's probably a bad idea usually, but TT bonuses exist and enables them.
Something something egg something close counter. It'll be great.
Also got both Olwens and Leif so I'm pretty good on bonuses.

Ryoma, Ayra, and Hector can pity break me whenever they want regardless of how many copies I have. Ryoma and Hector are my main guys so I want merges and Ayra's my favorite character on par with Ryoma so even though I don't need her for arena score I still would like merges.
Minerva, Olwen, other Olwen, and Swordhardt (once Thracia is over) can also pity break me, though I might be a bit bummed if it's a pity breaker pulling for one of the above 3. Otherwise I'm down for them showing up over mostly anyone else, though.
A lot of good units I don't have I could stand to be pitybroke once or something. Especially Elincia. Please come home.
Also wouldn't mind Bike.

Took a few tries but was pretty manageable for the Lunatic blessing stuff. Beat Infernal a while ago so probably won't bother again.
