When the parents get the two skills you want to pass down. The goons in each paralogue scale in level based on how far along you are in the story. The children start off at some crappy low level but come with child seals that promote them, bring them to the average level of the goons, and give them the average stats they should have at the new level depending on their growth rates.
I see.. I kinda peek at Kisaragi's paralogue because only Takumi and Tsubaki who already got married in my file and he is at level 20 unpromoted so I think it's good enough but still need the skills to pass down though.

so when is the best time to recruit all the children characters?
I'm now on IK Chapter 18 (after those hellish Ch. 16 - 17)
are they always be at lvl 20 when we recruit them?

If i do Mozume ( Archer ) X Kaze, it's better to pass Aptitude or Prescient Victory to Midoriko ?

Or you can pass Luna from Mozu A+ Effie
Or Extravagance from Mozu A+ Oboro
Or Lifetaker from Mozu A+ Nyx

When Corrin is standing around in position to assist with Attack Stance, the unit who is attacking can press X or Y in battle preview to change Corrin's weapon. So it isn't a turn wasted. I don't think Tooru was talking about sending a unit over to switch Corrin's equipped weapon.
Also, for much of early game Hoshido, Stone!Corrin is the closest thing to a defensive unit you have and has some use as a wall. It also helps in situations in Nohr where you don't have enough walls yet (like Chapter 10). It's definitely limited and situational, perhaps overly so, but there are certainly times where you want to be a chunky wall who doesn't ORKO their opponents.
So-called "one-shot" for +Mag Kamui is: the whole army will ORKO many enemies.
Changing an adjacent ally's current weapon is still a thing, so it is always easy for +Mag Kamui to trigger battles by Yato but use Dragonstone for other units' Attack Stance.
There are always situations where Dragonstone has better use than Yato, as well as situations where Yato or none of them is useful.
It is not a bad thing to have more choices, especially if you don't feel proud for skipping challenging parts of a chapter.
Dragonstone is the best weapon in Lunatic Nohr 10. <- Any arguments?
I know we can beat the chapters without Dragonstone/Dard Prince(ss), but I doubt that the results will be better.
Wow so now we can change other unit weapon in attack stance eventhough that unit already finished its turn? That's news to me

How does the whole "start from the branching point" thing work? Does it just start a new file at Chapter 6 with all the stats, experience, ect. you had at that point in your previous save?
You can create new character but the experience, stats, difficulty setting will use the very first save file (the left most top save file).

I think this issue can be easily solved by making singers not able to sing to other singers. You can only sing to one unit (I miss the four-unit version), so this shouldn't break the game too much.
The enemies will be very confused as they watch the duet. Probably the allies too.
You can pick the difficulty again when you start a new game from the decision point. It's not dependent on your previous save files.
really? but when I tried the menu, it didn't give me difficulty options... and it used my very first save file difficulty setting (the leftmost top).

I saw a Menu called "New Decision".. If I have Normal/Casual (first time), Lunatic/Classic (second time) on different save files, what difficulty level that it used?

To follow up that question, if you replay the endgame, can you choose five more? Or is it restricted to that save file?

Miriel is a really good unit cause he got Mag, Skl, Spd that's all he needs as offensive Mage. She also provides a good classes for Laurent so he can't perfectly functional as front unit or hard support especially with Gregor as his dad since he can also switch to Berserker support (That's what I'm doing). And yeah Robin will outclass ALL mage cause that OP Veteran but still Miriel can do well chipping attack from distance just make sure anyone can't hit her :)

Can someone tell me if there is other paring like Nyx!Zero? I mean in this pairing mother can't give her first and secound class to a child, so she's giving hoshido version of her basic class, is there any pair like that?
Jakob!Shigure will get Wyvern Rider class from Azura and any Male Kanna with Class Overlap will get paralel version of female Corrin's secondary class (minus Garou, Fox Spirit, Herb Merchant, Priest and Rod Knight cause those classes don't have equivalent)

Well, depends…are you concerned with main-game (no-grind), main-game (with grind) or postgame (grind assumed)?
From a postgame perspective, Hinoka!Matoi is +1 Str, +0 Mag, +2 Skl, +0 Spd, +0 Lck, +3 Def, +2 Res.
So she doesn't really have any particularly stellar modifiers (nothing above 3) and she has a defensive bent in her mods.
There are several ways you could go: SPD to make Kanna at least get +4 SPD (and possibly +4 Skl as well), Str because it will synergize with Matoi's all positive Str/Skl/Def mods (result: +5 Str, +4 Skl, +5 Def), etc. +MAG is an alternate choice if you want a simultaneous SPD and offense (MAG) boost, although its not as effective for SPD boosting as +SPD.
Postgame...
Will it be good if I choose +Mag/-Def and Dark Mage as Secondary Class in Hoshido?

Actually the child always inherits the fathers class first, even in the cases of Azura and Female Corrin.
so in this case, Matoi will get Spellcaster from Tsukuyomi!Shigure?

+Speed gives you +4 Speed, +2 Skill, +2 Luck,
-Magic/Res will also give you -1 Speed,
so probably you want +Speed/-Def because -Def will give you -1 Luck, -3 Def, -1 Res
