  1. I'm new to FE 6 but I've completed just one hard mode run, so take what I share with a pinch of salt. Geese is arguably my fave, since he's really good at taking out enemy dragonmasters, especially those from the southwest corner in Ch 21. Just give him 5 killer axes and warp him into the mountains and watch the fireworks. The mountain's +40 avoid is insane - the enemies will pretty much have 0 hit vs Geese. As long as nothing else is within those dragonmasters' attack range, they'll just orbit Geese forever. Gonzales hits harder and is faster, but I wasn't able to level him because he keeps missing his kills. While Geese's skill isn't spectacular either, it's enough to get the job done, and he can destroy some paladins too. Rutger and Clarine are pretty much a must, though I wasn't able to use Dieck since he got badly RNG screwed. Even without Dieck's support, they're still powerhouses, and they still dodge like a champ. So I guess Dieck can be dropped. Fir replaced my Dieck, and became even more insane than Rutger with Shin support. Give Fir a chance. If she gets there, she becomes a godly weapon of mass destruction. If she doesn't, she'll still probably kick plenty of ass with that sweet critical of hers. I preferred Lilina over Lugh in my run because Lugh uses up tomes so quickly. Also because Lilina is awesome vs bosses. Make sure to stock up on tomes for Lugh!
  2. @JDT001: This was hard mode. As you said, the unit gave quite a bit of EXP :D I continued where this left off, so to everyone who might come across this, just remember to get a clean kill, otherwise it will run off and heal off of the boss' concoction. I have no idea if it will run back to chuck more rocks, but it sure is a hassle to get up close to him afterwards since he'll be behind a general and he can deadeye your units. Not sure if he will move to attack either... (I didn't want to find out whether he would or not) Interesting how the game picks Shinon though. Maybe it picks the first suitable sprite and Shinon happened to be first in the code or something. I am tempted to try this on the other snipers in 3-11 and see what happens :P
  3. So yeah... this happened in 3-11. My Mia was at lvl 20 with 98 exp, and she was unequipped. She got criticaled by a swordmaster, then got 1 exp. So far, so good. Then an enemy sniper chucks a rock at her, and suddenly the game goes into a class change... for the enemy unit! The game shows the enemy unit promoting into Shinon, as well as getting stat gains as normal. After all that, everything seemed to be fine. Mia even promoted normally anyway (she got attacked by a mage). Has anyone had this happen before? Here's a screenshot showing Shinon at the pedestal.
  4. @Deviddo: Ike is cool and I like him a lot, especially his personality. But when it comes to my fave, I would say Haar. I like Haar not because of his awesomeness on the map (I prefer other units over him. He's godly, but a little too slow for me), but the fact that he likes to sleep as much as I do, and he's really laid back. @Tragonight: I'll give Path of Radiance a run sometime for sure. I want to know how it all started.
  5. I also use Tauroneo to clear the chapter ASAP. In one of my playthroughs, he decided to miss the boss (curse you, biorhythm...) and then the myrmidon criticaled Fiona anyway. I literally snapped when I saw that.

    Hello

Hi everyone. Got into FE after seeing Marth and Roy from SSBM. Radiant Dawn is my first FE and I love it!
