  1. I think SD had the best replay value of all FE games. My only complaints about this game were that most characters were just too weak to use outside of normal mode and that you had to lose too many characters to be able to play the gaiden chapters.
  2. Nintendo's CEO, a visionary that really needs to change his glasses.
  3. This pokemon bank delay is essentially a "fck you non japanese customers". What is the surprise in that? If Nintendo actually felt anything for their customers they should've stopped the service everywhere. Not made it japan-only like they did.
  4. I managed to get the instacheck working so i can help anyone who wants to check the SV and if anyone's got an egg with my SV you can PM me so i'll hatch it for you. my shiny value is 2342.
  5. Serebii.net lists it as 1/4096, and in BW2 the shiny charm increased the chance in 300% (making it 1/1365). So once you're able to complete the national dex the shinies will be rather common (around 1/730).
  6. No, it isn't. The OT is some spanish guy named Jose.
  7. I traded a 31atk deino i had on my pc and got a panpour (KOR) then i traded it and got a timid female charmander (KOR) with 31hp/atk/spatk. I'm decided to keep it so i started another chain with a crappy bunnelby i had gotten earlier on WT. This is how it went: 1. Deino -> Panpour (KOR) -> Charmander (KOR)(31hp/atk/spatk). 2. Bunnelby -> Ralts (JPN) -> Furfrou (Lv1, Who'd bother breeding those things) -> Fletchling -> Eevee (it has perfect def/spatk/spdef/spe IV's so i kept it). 3. Deino -> Abra -> Whismur -> Riolu (With 5 31 IV's!!!). 4. Ralts (KOR) -> Machop (31atk/def/spdef/spe). 5. Pidgey (got it on WT) -> Ralts -> Gastly -> Inkay -> Furfrou (Seriously, why do people breed these things) -> Kabuto (kept it). 6. Froakie -> Female Combee -> Sliggoo -> Pikachu -> Illumise -> Zweillous (JPN) -> Froakie (this one has protean).
  8. Added you. my FC is 2277-6786-1837. Edit: it seems my safari has Sandshrew, Nincada and Diggersby.
  9. I tried fish chaining and got 2 shinies in the same day (a horsea and a relicanth) and i also found a shiny illumise while i was taking care of my berry field. Fish chaining is very easy and if you know what you're doing it takes less than 2 hours to find a shiny. Try it!
  10. I'm not a fan of competitive battling so restarting for IVs is something i would never do. I know it's cheating but it'd be smarter to edit a Rayquaza's IVs with pokesav, instead of wasting precious hours to get one good enough for competitive battling. Also if he really wanted a Rayquaza with a certain nature i'm sure he had a synchronize poke with that desired nature as his lead poke. So it'd just be a matter of luck on getting the right IVs (he was okay with 31SPD, so the chances of he getting a Rayquaza with 31SPD and the right nature would be 1/2 * 1/31 = 1/62, This is not a ridiculously low probability, and it's much better than the 1/8192 of getting a shiny encounter).
  11. You'd seriously ditch a shiny Rayquaza just because his nature is bad for a competitive set!? Do you know that some people do countless restarts just to get a shiny one?
  12. 1.Emerald 2.Mystery Dungeon Explorers of the Sky 3.HG/SS Honorable mentions: Pokemon Ranger Shadows of Almia Pokemon R/B Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Red rescue team B/W 2
  13. Golden magikarp is win, not fail. I'd much rather have a shiny magikarp than a shiny haxorus.
  14. In nintendo consoles: Recruited kecleon in PMD explorers of sky without cheating. Finished Zero isle South (PMD explorers of darkness). Caught a Feebas in Pokemon Emerald. Defeated two of lance's dragonairs with a lv34 weepinbell (Pokemon blue). Finished FE5. In PC games: Reached the cash limit in Pes 2010 ML ($9.999.999.999,00). 170 games unbeaten run in FM 2012.
  15. I have wanted to see R/S/E remakes for a very long time. But i agree with you, they probably won't happen now since the best time for them would've been before Gen6. GF announced Gen 6 too soon. And i don't think Megaevolutions will make any difference on the game being created or not since GF can make it so they're avaliable only after endgame. Also, i strongly disagree about Blaziken. He won't be that much better than he was at Emerald since he still won't be strong enough to solo the game by himself. (unlike Swampert, who has better typing, learns Earthquake naturally and can be a HM slave if needed) and with Wallace as champion instead of Steven, blaziken would probably lack a super effective move (at least a physical one) to take down his pokes and would be OHKO'ed back by any decent water attack. From reading this thread i realized that there's one thing that most fans have forgotten: Pokemon is an open world RPG, Which means it doesn't need any plot to be a good game. All you need is a world to explore and a goal (completing the pokedex, for example). I believe the people who want the R/S/E remake want it because they liked Hoenn's map and all the different stuff you could only do there (Secret bases, diving, the unique pokemon, the contests, the music and so on) and thus most of them wouldn't mind having an entirely new game based in hoenn instead of a R/S/E remake. The first time i played a pokemon game was back in 2001, on my cousin's blue version. Back then i couldn't read anything in english so i didn't knew the goal of the game was to beat the E4 and thus i simply played the game the way i wanted, i would just wander around in kanto checking every building and catching every pokemon i liked and use them to battle, and guess what? It was very fun, because that's the how GF meant it to be in the first place. there's no need for a plot because what made the game fun was the freedom to explore the world while you catch, battle and trade pokemon. And i think some fans never noticed it.
  16. I'm almost through with pokemon, i think GF forgot what had made the series unique in the first place. BW were decent games, but the huge amount of new pokemon makes collecting them all a boring task (why did GF create 700+ pokemon anyway? there aren't enough bird and bug pokemon to justify that huge number) and competitive battling is looking more and more like the olympics.
