  2. Oh, cool. I wasn't aware of that. My bad. Anyway, did he manage to beat infernal C & L BHB with Sakuras? I didn't follow him on Twitter and apparently I can't rely on Youtube now.
  3. Those fliers have some pretty insane RES though, there's no way the Sakura Squadron can kill them fast enough to not get absolutely overwhelmed. IIRC the first infernal GHB/BHB the Sakura guy failed to beat is the Lloyd rerun, and since then he had not posted any Sakura Squadron clear video. With Mkv. first and then the Sakuwhale, the age of gods is over guys. Humanity needs to live on its own strength now. Someone's got to go to the Temple of Sakuwhale and find out what happened out there! Speaking of clearing infernal with unlikely team comps, there's this Cain guy though. He cleared Infernal Valter with Cain and three dancers. Pretty fun watch. His channel has lots of other infernal Cain-clear videos if you are interested.
  4. Beat Infernal on my first try but holy shit that's tough. There were like a million reinforcements; they did eventually stop though I think, thank god. I actually failed Lunatic once to my surprise, which hasn't happened since probably forever; but at least I learned from my mistake (or rather, my unpreparedness of Panic Ploy because seriously who the hell would have known) in Lunatic and replace all Hones with Spurs/Goads so that all those mfkers with Panic Ploys can go f*** themselves! The last red horse mage gave me huge headache; his BS stats would have enabled him to to punch through Reinhardt despite weapon disadvantage. I actually had to use Xander and Priscilla to block him, both of which would have been doubled by him were they not Goaded/Spurred. Holy shit that was close. My teams isn't particularly special by any stretch so I guess giving more details about it might help others who are having trouble. Units besides Olivia are non-merged; my Olivia is fully SI'ed but she only tanked a Brave Axe cav here once so any trained up Olivia should work too. Reinhardt has Lance Breaker 1 (probably the only vital SI needed) so he almost killed everything non green (take note there are no blue mages in this map) here. Xander has TA QR (Axe Breaker would have worked too) and is dedicated in killing axe pegasuses. Priscilla has Spur Speed which had helped Xander avoid getting doubled but that's about it; she didn't even do any actual healing as far as I can remember, so replacing her with an actual combatant might make things a bit easier. Infernal GHBs are becoming more and more BS recently; as an F2P I don't know when the time will come when I can't beat infernal GHBs anymore.
  5. Glad this method has been working for more people. In addition, I'm been using BS3 with FEH 1.6 for a while and it seems to be working fine too, which is great. Sorry to hear you are having problem with this method. Like kratosangel has said, you seems to have disabled the correct apps. Anyway, did you pass the Nintendo Account linking stage? I forgot to mentioned (I've updated this part now) that this has to been done before disabling the Google Apps/Services because the account linking does seem to require the Google Services. Sorry if this part has confused you. Hope things eventually work out.
  6. Yeah, I believe I'm on 3 too; I only downloaded BS a few days ago. I was using AMIDuOS before that. And thanks for the update, look forward to hearing if it works out for you. Cheers.
  7. Bluestacks has been working without 803 for me for a couple of days now using this method: 1. Download and install Bluestacks. Download and install FE Heroes via APK. Start FEH, log on to your account, then back out (i.e. before downloading the 500+ MB update). 2. Go to settings -> apps -> all (which is the right most tab), disable Google Play Games, Play Services/Store/Framework (can't remember their exact names but you know what they are; they are right next to each other as they all carry the Google name. I'm not sure if all of these need to be disabled, but I disable them all just to be sure). Also, when "uninstall update" is an option, be sure to do it. 3. Start FEH again. Error will show up saying you need play service and ask you to enable it. Click the "Enable" in this popup, which brings you to the setting -> apps -> play service page. DO NOT click the "Enable" here, just click Bluestacks' "Back" button to return to FEH. In my experience, you will encounter this twice (error popup -> "enable" -> back -> error popup again -> "enable" again -> back again) but FEH will eventually start as per normal. This behavior is very similar to the AMIDuOS "error popup -> OK -> minimize -> bring it back up" trick mentioned here before. Hope this work out for you.
  8. Well, I was already mad at IS for how poorly they handled Celica in SoV Act 5, but this "make her Tempest Boss so she doesn't need to appear on banner" is such a dick move that even I failed to foresee. Guess they really do not want my orbs then. So be it.
  9. Paging Master @Deteiri, if you are still there, any idea how to deal with 1.5?
  10. I enjoyed the game immensely and I liked the story quite a bit. Yes it is the same old Famicom-era of simple plots but I think it holds up pretty well; it helps a lot to have a very likable cast and top-notch voice acting. However, I do agree that most of the issues mentioned above exist and some of them are really unfortunate. The biggest issue I had, as I have mentioned in other story/character discussion threads, is the lack of consistency in some of themes the game seemingly set off to illustrate. The "commoner vs noble" thingy for one fell really flat towards the end of game. "People should be evaluated by their own merit, not station of birth"? Nope, quite on the contrary, endgame is full of "destined for greatness" BS. But the biggest inconsistency yet is still how one-sided the endgame felt compared to the start. In the heartwarming opening cutscene, Celica raised the question of "why do Duma and Mila have to fight, can't they just say they are sorry". You would have thought the game is about understanding and respecting each other and finding common ground in different beliefs. The game certainly starts as such, but ends quite differently. Again, the game has done so much right that a few disappointments like these didn't bother me as much; but I would be lying if I sayI didn't wish it had been better, closer to perfection.
  11. You aren't imagining things and your memory about Gaiden is mostly correct. SoV does change this particular part of story quite a bit and IS is clearly trying very hard to give a reason for the "boy saves his girl" cliche. In Gaiden, it's all good old NES minimalistic dialogues but here in SoV there's certainly giving more details. However, while I appreciate their efforts, I have to say it's still as anti-climatic as Gaiden was because it doesn't really change what was bothering me. This "you won a battle but the game story tells you otherwise" kind of thing always bugs me; it just creates so much psychological dissatisfaction. I absolutely love SoV and what it improves over Gaiden but I'm still a bit disappointed by this one particular remaining issue. Like someone in this forum has pointed out, the game is so one-sided towards the end that it loses the balance between the two parts, two ideologies and ends up giving us a "one side is right and other is wrong" feeling. It's a shame because it could have been so much more than this.
  12. People could very well react differently due to changing circumstances so I honestly wouldn't call the difference in Celica's actions between the end of Act 2 and Act 3 (which is mostly what people are referring to when they bring up this hypocrisy talk) hypocritical. After she found out what happened in Mila's Temple at the end of Act 3, her original proposed solution is practically crushed, her beliefs collapsed, and she's got to change her stance and take further actions. Whether you view this as "self-contradicting hypocrisy" or "she's finally changing for the better" is of course up to personal judgement. Anyway, had she not changed, people can also call her stubborn. I'm sorry if I'm sounding a bit defensive but what I'm trying to say is she is put into a tough spot, both emotionally and politically; if you want to understand her you have to consider her angle. Other than that, I can't argue with the fact that the execution in her ending in both Act 2 and 3 isn't perfect and leaves much to be desired. IS might have tried hard in the plot to justify the duel protag gameplay, but it apparently isn't an easy task. After all, I think I can give Celica's ending in Act 2 and 3 a pass, but what's even more concerning for me is her Act 4 ending. I don't want to go into spoilers but let me just say that I really disliked it back when I played Gaiden. I have just started Act 4 in SoV now and I really hope they fix it this time around. It was an extremely unsatisfying climax in Gaiden. I think it might have something to do with the Japanese culture, or at least the game/anime sub-culture where gender equality isn't a thing, where female protags always have to screw up and it always have to ultimately come down to the male protags to save the day. Take past FE games for examples, every time IS wanted to make a female protag, it failed with the female lord either becoming pretty much irrelevant as story progresses along (e.g. Lyn) or screwing up big time (e.g. Micaiah, or as most people tends to think so). Eirika may fare a little bit better but her adventure when compared to Ephraim's still feels a bit like a sidequest.
  13. Tried the method described by @aacprime and it worked like a charm. Thanks a great deal, man.
  14. For people looking for the 1.1 APK, you can always get it from APK Pure: https://apkpure.com/fire-emblem-heroes/com.nintendo.zaba .
  15. In FE1/3/11/12, mages are just mages, there's no distinction between Anima, Light, and Dark magic. However, in FE1/3, Aura is exclusive to Linde (like Excalibur is Merric exclusive. But IS remove these weapons' exclusivity in the remakes for no apparent reasons), and Aura should be considered light magic lore-wise in today's FE terminology.
  16. Yes, I do get this error on Nox as well, and 4-6 hours interval sounds about right. I'm also from a region where FE:H is not released yet, however when I'm playing on my phone (unrooted), I never get the error. It's when I play on Nox (be it rooted or unrooted) that I always get the error in the said interval. But again, there are people who use Nox and didn't get the error it seems. So I don't know, maybe it's a combination of emulator, root and region that gives this error? Anyway, to counter this annoyance I recorded a Nox command script (from clicking on root explorer, deleting account file, exiting root explorer, entering FE:H, linking Nintendo Account, etc. all the way until I'm shown the FE:H home screen) and just execute that every time I fire up Nox and play FE:H. It works great. If you are like me you can certainly do the same so that every time you just trigger the script, go off to do something more meaningful, and come back in half a minute or so and enjoy the game.
  17. If you are asking about "want", then of course entries that didn't get released outside of Japan get much, much higher priority. Seriously, others can wait. Out of all the Japan-only games, Genealogy unquestionably stands out the most, and is naturally next in line after Gaiden. I would think a Switch remake of Genealogy will come after the supposedly 2018 Switch FE game, reusing its engine. It just makes too much sense. If we get lucky and that sells well, we might receive a Thracia 776 remake to follow up so I can die happy I'm sorry Binding Blade but you will have to wait for the Switch successor
  18. "We" (as in, commonly accepted standard) considered the DS remakes as FE11, and FE12; why wouldn't echoes be FE15? Besides, it's not like what we considers is of great importance:)
