    That explains where Takumi was while that was going on. It was sweet how he didn't want to leave Mikoto's body there. Once again, sisters are noticeably absent--I guess Hinoka just went with him? Her pegasus would have been useful for spotting people in trouble. Kudos to Ryoma for his handling of that situation, I think most everyone would have freaked out between the giant dragon and the terrorist attack.

    And awww, Azura's so worried about Corrin ship tease intensifies. Somehow I forgot Kaze was in this CD, so I was pleasantly surprised to see him helping out and doing things. Bro ninja remains awesome.

    - All her sisters' are fantastic and show how she acts when she's with someone she trusts. Ditto for Corrin.

    - Takumi and Ryoma are kinda of like the above, but it's how she acts when she wants to grow closer to her brothers rather than already being close.

    - Saizo, Subaki, Leo and Arthur are good backstory supports. Arthur especially.

    - Keaton, Niles and Azama delve into her social anxiety and the issues it's given her.

    - Laslow is just a really nice chain okay, dancers bonding over dancing.

    - Shigure ofc goes more into her pendant and how she acts as a mom.

    She actually has very few "pie" supports, I think the only one is Xander and maybe Kaden. Everything else offers some characterization, and most of them are pretty strong.

    Hang on, I've thanked Nanima for her hard work and said it'll be interesting to see where they go with this, then I praised Takumi's characterization; am I not allowed to bring up the negatives or what?

    I never claimed you didn't. I just asked that you not bring up negatives of the game in a topic about the CDs, not that you not talk about the negatives of the CDs.

    Why would I bash Takumi? His characterization is on point and shows why he's the most interesting character in the game - Corrin, on the other hand, is worshipped and welcomed with open arms in spite of being from Nohr and having killed Hoshidans.

    Well your comment about his life being "so sad" came across as a bit mocking. Y'know, like people who bash a character for whining even if their angst is perfectly justified, which is where I got confused.

    In any case, could you at least keep the snark down? I know how you feel about Fates' writing, but it gets a bit tiring seeing it brought up everywhere. I just want to enjoy the translations of the CDs without reading negativity.

    Another update!! I was really excited to translate this one.

    Poor Takumi is and always will be so relatable for me. I know I say this a lot, but they really did nail his character for this CD. It's incredibly well written.

    Just read it and oh man. Poor Takumi :( He's always been one of the best-written characters, but stuff like this just finalizes how great he really is.

    Damn, Takumi's life is so sad because Corrin is just that perfect, huh?

    I'm pretty sure they're playing it up here for Takumi's sake, not Corrin's. Chill. Unless you're bashing Takumi, in which case why D:

    M!Corrin: Azura on all routes. I find their relationship and supports to be very sweet, plus "canon."

    Fem!Corrin: Kaze on Birthright, Silas on Conquest and Revelation. Kaze I S after Chapter 15 because I like the implication they fall in love after he saves her life, Silas because I think it's cute how he dedicated his life to seeing her again.

    Fates Character Design Opinions (Final Day #37 - Arete, Sumeragi, Anankos)

    Hinoka: Eh. It's just eh to me much like Hinoka herself. I like the pegasus knight outfit this game, and I like her red/white/gold color scheme, but it's not particularly stand-out to me. Her scarf is pretty nice though, and she looks appropriately princess-y and kick-ass.

    Camilla: Oh lordy, what a mess. Battle panties? You ride a wyvern, lady. There's a reason cavalry has more padding on their legs, and that's because chaffing sucks. More than that, you're a princess, you're supposed to look dignified, not over-the-top-sexual. The boob armor bothers me too, a lot less than the battle panties, but a lot more than, say, Sonia's did, because unlike Sonia, Camilla's a front-line fighter, yet her armor leaves her heart and throat wide open. I also can't imagine how painful having cold, biting metal against your breasts would be.

    Now that the armor's out of the way...the rest, I like. Her gloves, shoes and little cape are neat. Her hair is a very pretty color and the style is nice too. Her crown thing is cute, a bit silly looking but not terrible. And the black/gold/purple color scheme is absolutely fantastic on her. Pity the game decides to focus on T&A with her.
