  1. Marth's Route is currently winning in the poll. Thank goodness I'm still on the correct timeline!
  2. Check the Belmont family tree on the Castlevania wiki. Annette serves as Richter's love interest in Rondo of Blood, and while their marriage is never confirmed it was never disconfirmed so it's really safe to assume they stayed together after literally he literally braved the castle of the anti-Christ for her sake. What a man.
  3. Here's what I came up with. I look forward to playing with you all!
  4. If Homs intends to take up a speaking antagonist role then I have to take a related character. Would you mind if I claimed Richter as my parent character? Also if I do, is it an issue if I attempt a more unique take on a Belmont, or is the Vampire Killer too indispensable? I have backstory reasons in mind as to justify the difference but if that sounds too weird I can adjust things.
  5. I think it would be safer to run something like this once we know more definitively the game-play loop of World of Light and how involved plot and cut scenes are so we can come up with an accurate storytelling method. But regardless of whether we wait or not... it might be really cool to join something like this if TheGoodHoms is doing it. I probably need to exercise my creative writing skills anyways.
  6. Considering the game seems to be pushing three main protagonists all of which are likely blue bloods, the lies the possibility of more politics in the story makes me wonder if we could get a branching narrative system. Now I'm not saying we should have entirely different games like fates had because that would be way too much work unless they split the game up again, but I do think their could be opportunities for the main character side with or favor one of the main protagonists sprinkled throughout the game potentially changing the map you play on in the vein of Blazing Blade, how the characters act around you in cut-scenes, and maybe causing a protagonist and the swath of the army loyal to them to walk out on you. Perhaps this system would be a little complicated but it might make each player's play-through more personal and memorable.
  7. That, and the exaggerated special effects help blend the various characters to fit the smash bros tone. Metroid and Mario couldn't be more thematically different but we're okay seeing them together because the shared effects establish that the characters are running on the same rules. Also that last sentence of yours makes me die a little on the inside.
  8. I feel like this perception of the handgun puts a little too much emphasis on technology as make or break of one's combat abilities. I mean, in the Zero games the titular hero is a reincarnation of one of the most powerful and skilled reploids right? I think with such a wealth of experience under his belt he should be able to fight well despite having a weaker weapon just by placing his shots accurately. Besides, the handgun fits MMZ's heavy post-apocalypse/resistance theme really well.
  9. Type I! Feo! Uru! Son! Ansu! Spring Raid! Combo Complete! Oh, right, the trailer. Ahem. It looks graphically impressive and a valiant effort was made to capture a realistic portrayal of these characters but some 2d characters just weren't meant to be recreated in 3d, especially with an art style shift so I bet if I were to watch this movie I'd be pretty off put by the designs.
  10. Id Purpose is back and better than ever! I'm definitely excited to find out what other Fire Emblem songs are in the game, as well as The Legend of Zelda, Kid Icarus, Sonic the Hedgehog, Final Fantasy, and so many others. If I could wish for any one remix though, it would have to be Kind Dedede's battle theme because it would be too perfect for Smash. And yeah, I think Lifelight will go down as one of Smash Brother's defining musical tracks (though I'm not sure if it overtakes Audi Famam, that piece is amazing).
  11. Lions have golden fur. M is for Marina.
  12. I played Arena for a little while, but the cardboard version feels better to play since it's more personal, so I'm hoping to find more people to go rounds with. I started on the Dominaria set that released earlier this year alongside a certain Homs. My deck is worth all of 13 dollars and is easy to beat but sometimes it runs away with landslide victories since it's a white and red auras and equipment build. Especially when this card hits the field. I enjoy piloting it. I read the lore casually. It's not really a story to take seriously since a lot of the character design and cards are made solely with audience appeal in mind.
  13. We should all just prepare for Goldeen's higher than average spawn rate.
  14. Pretty awesome direct overall. Piranha Plant was the newcomer that nobody asked for but we all realized we needed and I am hyped! Really happy to have another adventure mode too, after all for all it's lengthy missteps The Subspace Emissary was easily one of my favorite things about Brawl in before final boss is revealed to be an allegory for smash community greed :P. I really hate the extra price tag for internet play but at this point I might pay out so I can reunite with the Serenes Smash Community. Tiki, Owain, Severa, Seliph, Hinoka, The Black Knight, Alm, Celica... Give the poor boy his cake.
  15. Favoritism. I am usually a rush-down, who-needs-spacing, wail-on-their-guard-till-they-mess-up kind of player, and in Smash 4 I still played Robin.
  16. I've always felt that bows being without close range attacks were apart of their charm, but I understand we all want to protect our units so its a feature I won't mind missing too much. Archer units will still probably have all the likable characters anyways so of course I'm going to use them regardless.
  17. I feel like regarding magic and technology as two different things is something of a poor way to look at the world's progression in the context of Awakening's world. I've heard it said that even the very clothes we wear can be considered technology from the right perspective. I think the people talking about the ruin of civilization are spot on as to what happened to stunt the world's advances. Granted, you would think the people of Awakening's world would have done a little more experimentation in their spare time, but ehh, gotta keep your fantasy setting in tact.
  18. (It's called a Nobody for the uninformed)
  19. Hinata is pretty bad as a unit all things considered, but I've never really cared. I just really prefer using Samurai that don't die in two hits, and his personality is inoffensive. Luthier is also pretty underwhelming considering Shadows of Valentia is full of crazy powerful mages whom he can't really keep up with, but I enjoy using him cause he's got a cool design.
  20. I may not be a police officer, but this Lead Pipe I found in the Billiards Room sure looks like a clue. Why can't a P.O. box work as a shipping address for a new TV?
  21. Star Wars: The Old Republic is definitely a really uninspired mmo in the gameplay department and it's graphics are having trouble keeping up to modern standards, but the delightful feeling of taking a role in one of media's biggest names combined with some fun characters and a dialogue system, I just love spending time in this version of a galaxy far far away. It's also one of the most economical mmos on the market at free to play through all launch content, and subscribing for one month nets you all the released expansion content forever, meaning you only really have to subscribe if a new expansion is coming out or if you like raids. Also it's the only Bioware game you can play in front of your mom (and thus the only one I've played).
