If you do have hit rate problems, it might help to get Certain Blow from Sniper class(lvl 5), +40 hit when initiating attacks.

Just tested, and I was able to obtain a second Fell Brand without using my first, so it appears you can get almost infinite Fell Brands.
Nope, that's reserved for the Nohrian and Hoshidan festival of Bonds. Once those come out, you can get infinite of both. Exalt's brand for Hoshido, Hero's Brand for Nohrian.
OK, I did not know about those brands being the rewards for those maps. So just need to wait for more DLC....
-
So, you can only have one in your inventory I guess?
So in theory, would this work with Before Awakening DLC, the Hero and Exalt Brands?

If you look at this page, it tells which maps require you to control characters separate from your party. Looks like the rest of Map Pack One all use your party characters.

I feel like the lottery is based of the luck stat of the character running the booth.
In my Birthright playthrough I had Azura (whom had the highest luck in my party) running the booth, and I got silver consistently with a small chance of gold.
Does anyone else believe it is based of luck stat?

I just finished both maps and im sad. but thats ok. The first one is easy enough once you know how to do it, and the second is way easier as long as you, ya know, actually hit up the DV. I'm sure you can do the map without using them though.
In the second part you almost need to use the DV's. Once you use the three initial DV's, a fourth is created that moves part of the map and gives skills. I had Owain/ Odin activate it, but left Inigo/ Laslow and Severa/ Selena on the section that did not move, and trying to move them up through the two berserkers in the forts along the curved path was painful(eventual deaths). And the skills from the fourth DV give a huge advantage fighting the boss.
Overall I thought these maps were fairly easy, once you figured out the tricks in each one, they became easier.
EDIT: Has anyone tested if you can get multiple Fell Brands?

Hero of Legend
A legendary hero destined to save the land from evil
(male only)
- A
Stats:
HP- 55
Str- 35
Mag- 20
Skl- 32
Spd- 35
Lck- 28
Def- 25
Res- 25
Mov- 6
Skills:
lvl 1 - Mark of Courage - Skl +4, Def/Res -1
lvl 10 - Shield Block - Protects user from any projectile attack (bows/tomes/shuriken) (luck * 0.5% chance)
lvl 25 - Spin Attack - Deal Str/2 damage to enemy support unit (Skill * .05% chance)
lvl 35 - Hero of Legend - Allows user to equip weapons previously locked to a chosen few. Only works in this class. (allows user to equip Yato, Rajinto, and Siegfried)
This class is based of Link from the Legend of Zelda series. (He would look like Link to)
This class will have high attack power, but lacks defensively.

You will need to start chapter 27, then exit the chapter at the management screen. Once in your My Castle, save your game.
Then you will have the Blazing Yato.
-
Haven't done Leo yet, but Elise is markedly easier than Xander and Camilla.
Doing Leo is fine at first, (defeating Takumi, Elise, and Sakura was pretty easy), but then I got wrecked by Saizo and Kagero.

Recently I started my play through of Conquest, and I was wondering after what chapter (and with what characters) would be the best time to finish the Before Awakening DLC. I just finished chapter 8 and I am in hard difficulty.
Thanks!

If any of the awakening party members die, then you do not get the rewards.

Earlier today GameXplain posted a video of them challenging the Marth amiibo, and I saw that they had someone named Keaton in their party, once they hovered over him and I could see the character stats on the bottom screen I realized that it was Flannel.
Keaton (aka Flannel) is the class Wolfssenger (which is the upgrade of Wolf Skin or as in Japan Managarm) and is holding a Beaststone and a Beastrune.

How does Rend Heaven work?
in Fire Emblem Fates
Posted
If a high magic user activates Rend Heaven against a general or another class with almost zero magic growth they will not have much bonus damage added. If a high strength user attacks the same general then you will add a lot of bonus damage.
So to make the most of this skill you want to attack someone a weapon type (magic based or strength based) that corresponds to what the enemies higher Str/Mag stat is.
