I'm, what are you talking about? Male and female Corrin have almost the exact same dialogue throughout fates? How could one be more "dorky" than the other?

I mean, the move sets are similar, but I doubt they'll be exactly the same.

What makes you think these characters have the same move sets? Other than the gender variants, none of those are confirmed.

I'm much less enthusiastic about the game after Lyn's announcement because I really don't care about Lyn that much. I would have preferred to get Jagen instead of Lyn. I actually wanted some shadow dragon characters, and since it looks like we may only be getting 3, that makes me a little upset. Sure, there's this whole Navarre thing, but he very well could be an npc, like Validar. I think they should have just owned this whole focus on 3 games thing, unless this game has significantly more playable characters than the leak let on. I guess there could be characters on the back of the box? I doubt it though, since 25 is already a lot.

You're not enthused about the gameplay? I thought it looked pretty nice, and everything I've heard from people who played it was positive, but whatever. To each their own I guess. But yeah, if literally nothing about the game entices you, then yes, it's time to give up hope.

I mean, if you don't care for the cast of characters from any of the base games than yeah, this game probably isn't for you, unless you're just really into warriors games. I'm of course as disappointed as anyone with the base cast, but I also understand their reasoning and like what I see enough to get the game day one.

Really don't see why they couldn't just add a couple characters from a game as dlc than just expand on that game if they make a sequel. But maybe I'm being too optimistic. Still, they added a bunch of games to hyrule warriors, so it's still possible.

I'm basing my thoughts more on legends than the original hyrule warriors. Fire emblem just has a lot more characters to do use than Zelda, plus this game doesn't have alt weapons, so more characters is kinda a given. We won't see much from other games, but they definitely won't just do more fe1/13/14. I would be interested in some fe12 dlc, though.

Michalis could also be a villain. I just think it's possible that the game's original villain (who, let's be honest, is probably the main characters' friend who is mysteriously not confirmed as playable) could be the only villain in the game. It's just weird that the only villain shown is Validar, who is confirmed to be a villain npc. Let's be honest, none of these games have particularly well liked villains, so they could just skip them.

I feel like they would want to add more than one character from each game they rep though. I'm pretty confident history mode maps will be dlc, and they probably need more than just the main lord for those to work.

I want a Thracia banner. It can have Leif(with his Light brand or the blaggi sword), Finn(brace lance) Nanna(Will probably have staffs, but maybe could have the runesword), and like Mareeta(with the Mareeta sword) I just want more Thracia rep in the game.

Normally I don't like talking about DLC before a game is even out yet, but with the past 4 fire emblem games having DLC and Hyrule warriors having DLC (I'm sure other warriors games have DLC too, but Hyrule Warriors is the only one I've played) DLC for this is all but confirmed. Plus, this is really the only way for some of my favorite characters to get in, so I want to speculate about it. I personally think we'll like;y see four waves of DlC (just like Hyrule warriors) possibly less but probably not more. These packs would include probably include some where from 1-4 characters, with also possibly a history mode map and/or maybe something for whatever the coliseum is. I think these packs would be: Echoes pack: Most likely since the game was just released. Obviously they couldn't be in the base game, since these games were being developed at the same time. Obviously we'd get Alm and Celica, with maybe one other character from each rout. Or Berkut. He's pretty popular. If they wanted to go real crazy, they could split this into an Alm rout and Celica rout pack, with like 3 characters each, but that seems a bit much. Especially since the game didn't do as good as Awakening or fates. AS for a map, they could just go with the final chapter, or maybe like the Rudolf map or the Greith map or something. Elibe pack: Fe6 and/or fe7. Fe7 was the best selling game until awakening, and even now these games are still popular. There's a reason these games got into heroes. if it's a general Elibe pack, then we'd probably just get all the lords as characters, though that would be 3 sword users. Maybe the'd drop one for some fan favorite character? They could do that if it was just fe7, too, though Hector is pretty much a shoe in if it is. If it's just fe6, We could get just Roy. While I hate the kid, he has a fire sword, so he could be fun. They could also add Lillina and someone else, maybe Clarine or Echidna. as for a map, from fe7 they could go with cog of destiny, or victory of death, or maybe just the final chapter. In fe6 there's the Zephiel map, or maybe chapter 7. Tellius pack: Probably the least likely, since these games sold like crap, put Ike did win the popularity poll, so maybe there's a chance. Characters could be Ike, Micaiah (If they pull from fe10), Titania, Soren, the Black Knight, or maybe some Laguz, like Ranulf or Tibarn. Probably not the Laguz though, since they would have to add a whole new weapon type. As for a map, Moment of Fate (if we get the black knight) is a strong possibility, or just the final map from either game. Maybe even the Greil Mercenaries fort? A really cool idea would be chapter 17 from fe9, though that may be a bit to big. A pack with more Awakening/ fates/ maybe even (but probably not) shadow dragon characters: Not much to say here, as we don't even know who all will be in the base game, nor what maps will be there, but I just have the strangest feeling that Tharja might not be in the base game. I mean, it's weird that they had an Awakening trailer with her not in it, right? I'm also concerned that Azura hasn't been announced yet, as I actually do like her, but She'll probably be in the base game. I don't know if this would focus on one game or all three, or just the 2 that aren't shadow dragon, but who knows. I don't really want this one to exist, but I just have the faintest inclination that it will. Anyways, those are my predictions. What are yours? They don't have to be as detailed as mine, but still I'm curious as to what people think.

I don't think Draug is getting enough attention here. You see, there's not a single infantry lance user announced yet, and if this is truly shadow dragon characters and not mystery of the emblem characters, then Draug is the most relevant lance man left (obviously Hardin would beet him if mystery of the emblem was included). Most people don't like Draug, but I actually really do, so I'm fine with this. Aside from him, I think Tiki is all but confirmed, Minerva's almost certainly getting in, Ceada and Merric are very likely, and maybe we'll get Jagen. I didn't mention Camus, because I think something is going on with the villains. They haven't shown any yet, so I think we'll either see none, they won't be playable, or they won't be playable at first. Granted, fe1 is the only game who's story needs villains to work (awakening can just use Robin as Grima, fates can use the country you don't side with) so maybe we'll get Camus or Garnef or medeus. I don't know. Also maybe Gordin or Jeorge, since we only have 2 archers.

Really don't think Yen'fey's important enough to get a map. There's plenty more memorable maps from awakening to choose from, like chapter 4. People like that one, I guess.

Lyn is probably going to win, since you know, she won the choose your legends event, but it will probably be close. I'm going team Hector, then Ike or Lyn if he looses.

Oh never mind. just actually got him and he has no lances. I was just paranoid that there would be problems with me using a save from the previous version.

So the readme said that J.R wasn't suppose to gain lances after promoting, but I just got to chapter 2-2 and he's a ranger. He can already use lances. is that a problem?

Why is Dorothy above Klein and Igrene for stats? Dorothy is worst than, if not just as bad as, Wolt.
