  1. Not counting "the" as part of the title because who even does that anymore.

    • #: 1bit Heart
    • A: Azure Striker Gunvolt

Harder than hard mode letters were:

    • D (between Danganronpa, Devil May Cry 1, 3 + 4, Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth, Dead Rising, the Souls games, Dishonored 1 + 2 and Dynasty Warriors: Gundam Reborn)
    • F (any Fallout, a couple Fire Emblems, Final Fantasy V, VIII and IX, Fragile Dreams, and Furi)
    • R (most Resident Evil games, most Romance of the Three Kingdoms games, Ray Gigant, Radiant Historia, Rome: Total War and Roundabout)
    • S (the big one; Silent Hill 1 + 2, pretty much every Shin Megami Tensei game, Saints Row 2, both Story of Seasons games, Stardew Valley,  Super Robot Wars J, W + L, and Soul Nomad and the World Eaters)

Also, # and I are freeware games because I haven't played more than like three games I'd rank near a favorite between the two.

  2. Best Story: Shadows of Valentia. Great presentation, likable characters, and aside from a few hiccups the plot's solid.

Best Gameplay: Birthright. Controversial opinion here, I know, but Conquest's gameplay isn't even deserving of "best in Fates" let alone "best in the series." I think Conquest and Revelation are both equally not good in terms of level design, gimmicks, etc., so Birthright wins by virtue of not being a gimmick-filled desperate attempt to appeal to older fans of the series.

Worst Story: Conquest. Not gonna beat a dead horse by going into any further detail.

Worst Gameplay: Awakening. Super-unbalanced, with too easy, boring maps and a glut of overpowered units.

I heard that dual audio is gonna be made a day 1 patch. Keep in mind this is from that Oscar guy on Twitter so he could be wrong.

It wouldn't surprise me. Most other Warriors games (at least the ones that have a dub) as of late have been offering dual audio as free DLC or via update. DW8's Japanese audio track was made available a few months after it was released, for example.

  4. What I think is most likely:

    • Shadow Dragon: Camus (because he's the most prominent character from Akaneia outside Marth himself), Merric (because he has a personal connection to Marth plus Excalibur and popularity) and Draug (because he's the closest to "popular Armor Knight" we're going to get)
    • Awakening: Tharja (because she's the most likely "draw" character for the pack), Severa (because of her popularity), and Virion (popularity, plus also having his preferred weapon type in-game)
    • Fates: Azura (because she's soft-confirmed already), Laslow (because of his popularity), and Charlotte (also because of popularity)

This isn't my own personal wishlist, because most of the characters on mine aren't reasonable to expect as adds.

  5. 100% yes. As much as I think Fae, Myrrh and Tiki are cute, I'm sick of the weird dichotomy FE's established for itself where all the good Manaketes/dragon descendants are largely female and all the evil/antagonistic Manaketes are male. We've only had five explicitly non-antagonistic male Manaketes/dragon descendants in Bantu, Xane, Gotoh, Nils and Morva, compared to every dragon big bad and Jahn, plus the enemy Manaketes and various Manakete bosses. Plus I'm just sick of loli dragons in general, and the closest thing we've had to a reprieve from that was adult Tiki in Awakening.

i only know one puzzle would screw up a lot of players easily in one of the dungeons.  The convenience of the gamepad makes that puzzle so much easier to figure out.

    Spoiler

Are you talking about that one puzzle in Chapter 4 where you have to go to a specific door based on the monitors? Because I'd rather them change that puzzle entirely in a port, honestly.

Anyway, a Switch port of TMS is one of those things I don't mind happening, but probably won't happen because of the game's sales. If it does, I want Smile Smile to actually be in the game. No I don't care that Itsuki's not a performer, it's a great song.

    1. How is everyone's crowd clearing game? Anybody particularly good at it? Bad at it? Does anyone not get any crowd clearers at all?
    2. Any potential DLC characters you're hoping for?
    3. Are the mounted/flying units generally better than the foot units outside of speed? Worse? About the same?
    4. Out of the main cast, who do you feel controls the easiest/smoothest?
    5. On a scale of 1-10, express your disappointment in YHVH-head Gharnef not being a costume in-game.

    how?

    just...how?

    how could someone dislike oliver?

he's the superior being, his beauty cannot be described with words

    just joking, btw

Ironically, you just perfectly showed why I hate the Oliver memes; the whole joke is "a physically unattractive character thinks they're attractive! isn't that hi-larious?!" with absolutely nothing else or even really a punchline. It's just bad comedy.

TMS was super honest about its inclusions and people were still incredibly salty (thats not even counting people salty with the direction), quite frankly I don't think any spinoffs regardless of what they do will ever work fully for this fanbase. We're too divided.

I agree and disagree. On the one hand, would people have complained regardless? Probably, but those are the people who always complain. On the other hand, IntSys and Nintendo forcing arbitrarily narrow focuses on every non-Heroes spinoff (and even Heroes' representation isn't equal) to milk more money from Awakening and Fates is what's biting them in the hindquarters. 90% of people's complaints would have been assuaged if they had focused on five games (SD, one of the Elibe games, one of the Tellius games, Awakening and Fates are the ones I think would have worked best) instead of three for Warriors, expanded the roster size up to 30-35 and cut some of the dead weight in the form of the Fates siblings to make room for other characters.

Wait. I notice that the list we have here says Cordelia and Camilla has a convo but my game says there's not.

The photo below shows that it doesn't have a +, which should mean there is no support between them...?

That is strange, considering that translated text for a support for them was found in the files. Possibly it was dummied out late in development?

Regardless, I've noticed you're apparently the only one complaining about Rowan. Mind quoting his full convos from this topic? Because I at least looked at his Takumi and hard-to-see Lianna one, and the worst he's done in those is...stealing cookies, calling them bad, and being cocky in front of Takumi. I'm curious to see how his Robin convo of "dissing tactics" played out, and if it was really frustrating or something different. If anything, it's sorta refreshing seeing a lord act more like a childish goof; the closest we've seen to that is Alm, but that's not saying too much (as one who likes him).

Only one complaining publicly anyway, I think Rowan's pretty terrible too. Ask and ye shall receive:

Phew, we won. Thank goodness my.strategy played out how I hoped....L.Your strategy? You mean my skills. Did.you see how many enemies I cut down?...O.You still don't trust my tactical sense?.I thought I had earned your approval....A.Pull your weight in a fight, and you'll.always have my approval!...E.But you gotta admit, knights are far.more important than tacticians....M.You still don't understand that there's.more to war than just swordsmanship....L.Let's hold a short symposium on the art.of battle. You may learn something....H.Art? Knights don't need art! They just.need to train and become strong....O.It's a pity you feel that way. To think,.you'd be a splendid knight otherwise....K.You may not need tactics to charge in.headfirst, but there are other ways......Let's say, for example......M.The enemy has 10 times your forces..Even with strong knights, could you win?...1.Well, victory in that case.would be difficult......Q.But with a keen strategy--sneak attacks,.pincers, diversions... See what I mean?...M.You have to admit, strategy and tactics.are just as important as any weapon....G.Even so, coming up with strategy is.a tactician's job. Not a knight's....N.Not true. A tactician can only plan for.the future, not foresee it perfectly....M.The tide of battle shifts constantly..The front line must know how to adapt....P.Knights must have good judgment and.adapt on the fly; otherwise the plan fails....G.In other words...knights can't always.just do what the tacticians say?...L.Precisely. Tacticians paint the broad.strokes; knights fill in the details....P.So if a knight is strong enough to fight.and smart enough to employ strategy......%.I know where you're going with this....J.If you can protect your friends with.your brains as well as your brawn......).Your skill as a knight.will be peerless....3.I like the sound of that. Strategy is always changing,.so I'm always studying..$.:.Then let's study together. We'll each.grow in our fields!.%.O.I'm sure you'll one day not only become.a fine knight but a fine king as well..&.).Huh? I hear his name dropped pretty often for Warriors so I'm going to assume Michalis is at least somewhat popular.

But I don't like the guy. At all.

In shadow dragon he's just a weak villain because he only appears once and doesn't make much of an impression to me.

His little redemption arc I find hard to take seriously because Michalis gets a happy ending he really doesn't deserve.

I mean, I hate that he got the chance at all to live in New Mystery and Hardin didn't, but you don't have to save Michalis, which is the situation's only saving grace. I let him die, personally.

I think I heard that the Lucina Cordelia one was actually Chrom. Is that the case or does she have both. Kind curious as to what those two would talk about (don't tell me though!).

I don't know how anyone could mistake the Chrom-Lucina one for another one, she calls him Father in it. I don't think the Chrom-Cordelia one was in the text dump, but that didn't seem to have all the supports anyway. I'll double-check.

EDIT: Lucina does have a bond convo with Cordelia, but that doesn't preclude Cordelia having one with Chrom as well.

  13. 2 minutes ago, Arthur97 said:

Well, at least they added a twist and didn't have her insisting that Mark is Robin. I admit, that sounds kinda funny. Still wish there was a Lucina and Lyn support. For that matter, why doesn't Lucina support Chrom?

She does, it's just not on the main list for some reason. It was in the last or second to last dump Vincent did.

  14. 17 minutes ago, Corbin said:

Yep, the devs just revealed they're recording new supports right now.

Would you kindly provide a source?

    1 minute ago, omegaxis1 said:

So with all these supports, what was with that interview saying that they wouldn't be able to do that? Clearly they can make a support with everyone.

Every character has a fully-voiced support convo with 6-8 people, which is reasonable. Every character having a fully-voiced support conbo with the 20 or so other characters, plus any future DLC characters, is less so.

  15. Hmm, there seem to be some missing supports, probably not translated in time to make it into the Japanese version's files. Not all of Takumi's supports were in the text dump, for example. It would also explain why we're missing supports for Owain, Oboro and Navnevada Navarre.

Also, those are indeed DW files, Vincent. I saw the characters for Xiahou Dun and Xiahou Yuan in there. Seems to involve Lu Bu as well.

  16. 10 minutes ago, Anna-FTW said:

Any word if there are any Corrin supports with the Nohr and Hoshido siblings?

Only with Ryoma and Xander. The rest of her supports are crossovers.

    1 minute ago, Thane said:

So have we found supports for Niles but not Owain and Oboro? Is there any reason for that? Also, does everyone only have one conversation each?

No idea how the data's set up, so it's impossible to tell for sure if Owain and Oboro have supports in-game. We'll only know for sure once they've all been dumped. And, yeah, every pair that can A+ Support has only one long convo once they hit that rank.
