  1. I've actually gone over this topic multiple times in this thread. You can look through my previous posts at your leisure. Suffice to say, the swimsuits aren't actually the problem items when using that patch and they won't get you banned. The patch moves the item list around a bit so its actually the items at the end of that list that will cause other players to crash. This is because the game looks for the item id and not the item name when determining what to display client side. This is also why some items get changed from one item to another when you install the patch. What your game decides is a swimsuit could be a hoshidan crown for the other individual. Like I said, I've gone into this far more in depth with more exact information (like which items to avoid) earlier in this thread.
  2. Looks like those supports have had their first pass at translation, but they haven't had their code reinserted yet so us editors can't take a crack at them as of now. Also, to answer that second query, it may have something to do with male and female Kamui's supports for Zero being identical right up until the s support, but I'd have to take a look.
  3. https://www.dropbox.com/sh/bvy8kqrcyuzysbl/AAA3O_uG7J5xaXi-VMxZ0Ja3a?dl=0 I've rehosted the versions of the delocalization script (For US and EU versions of the game, though owners of the EU version should be sure to rename the @E folder to what their version uses as @E is only used for the US version and not for the EU version) Also in the folder is the Japanese to English Patch. Specifically, this is the "Everything we have" patch that was linked on this thread's OP. This is just a TEMPORARY measure. As I don't pay for Dropbox I have a very limited amount of available downloads before Dropbox cuts them off for the month. I suggest someone else rehost these as I will be removing these files from my dropbox eventually.
  4. You might be using the wrong version of Python. Make sure you installed version 2.7 and not 3.5
  5. This is inaccurate. The delocalization script is missing a lot more than supports and DLC. Several chapters are missing and what the patch has isn't even fully translated. This leads to several instances in conversations where the text box simply reads "????". There are also several menu and UI elements missing from the patch. So far I've noticed a couple of pop up notices that are completely blank, the music titles from the menus in mycastle are blank, and when selecting your location for your card various locations have been swapped around and United States is completely missing. In its current state the delocalization script is in need of a complete overhaul. I'm sure Div 2 is fully aware of this and is working on it as we speak, but one shouldn't misunderstand where the project is at currently. It's not anywhere near ready.
  6. Division 2 recently announced that they were getting back on schedule. Division 1, however, still seems to have a skeleton crew at best.
  7. The OP for this is a bit under maintained. I know there are bugs reported on the Google doc, but the OP still says there aren't any known bugs. I'll list the things I've noticed thus far (there is some overlap with the Google doc). The message that pops up when you boot the game (I believe its related to new content being available) is completely blank. The titles of the unlocked soundtrack in mycastle are blank. In chapter 16 of Birthright (I haven't played through it yet so I'm only aware of errors in the opening for it) There's a missing line from Garon (displayed as ????). It's his second to last I believe. Flora is also missing a line like that right before Macbeth acknowledges her presence. These next bit isn't a bug, but I want to take a moment to acknowledge it. The delocalization script is missing several chapters at present. In fact, even in the patch meant for the Japanese title there are a few missing from Revelation. This creates an inconsistency error for character names at the very least and should be addressed. Edit: end of BR chapter 16 bugs. Missing line from Macbeth before he announces there's a traitor. Missing line from Flora before suggesting going to the Ice Clan Village. Missing line from Avatar after "Sleeptalking..." "Yeah...that's it..." and another after "There's more at work than...huh." Also noticed that the pop-up for the scene in your quarters where you wake up your lover just reads "I'll wake up." Someone needs to take another pass at that one. Edit: The entirety of the Hinoka/Male Avatar support logs need another pass. They're so riddled with typographical, formatting, and grammatical errors that it'd make more sense to make a video of them than type them all out. Edit: Here's said video Edit: the options for your location for the home setting on your player card have been mixed up and jumbled. The greatest bungle there is the inability to select United States. Its most likely the lone option that got replaced with "??" You need to make sure that these options line up 1-1 with the localized version or we'll end up with situations where someone who selected Belgium ends up telling everyone else he's Australian. Edit: Prompt in arena battles that pops up when you hit the X button is blank. There's also a prompt that pops up when booting the game up that is blank as well.
  8. If you're under 11.0 and have a physical copy you can easily use homebrew to patch the game through hans without downgrading. If your copy is digital you will need to downgrade to 9.2 and install a cfw. There are plenty of guides on doing that, but theres a deficit on good guides on how to patch your digital copy once you've got your cfw running.
  9. Just because its a new console doesnt mean its fully updated. That being said, if you're not on 11.0 firmware yet DO NOT update it. You need homebrew at the very least in order to run this patch and homebrew is currently inaccesible to new users on 11.0. That will be addressed in the near future once Smealum updates the payloads, but for now its a no go.
  10. Probably not until they're really truly ready to call it quits. I would appreciate it greatly if they would open source this in that eventuality, including all their tools and unimplemented work. In that way it can continue to be supported even after they've all left.
  11. Neither of the teams seem to have any real interest in working on these patches anymore it seems.
  12. To be honest I haven't the foggiest. Supposedly they've translated at least "10%" of supports and they later said they'd "release the fixed up controversy supports" back when they split the group. If that's the case then it should be in this link: https://www.dropbox.com/s/wg1u90t4ucdqmjm/Patch.7z?dl=1 Since I don't currently have a way to check I can't confirm or deny that they release a translation for it. You're better off asking some like thedude since he's supposed to be in charge of that team.
  13. Yes. CFW means custom firmware. It's somewhat comparable to hacking a phone to get access to gain root access. It's nessecary to permanently patch the game in this manner.
  14. I was under the impression that you SPLIT the teams. btw, do you have a pastebin or something with translated text waiting to be inserted into the patch files?
  15. Its been brought up before, of course, but from my recollection the team has never responded to it.
  16. The supports and mycastle dialogues aren't finished at all. There also seems to be a number of points where the game either wasn't translated or it just fails to load the translation. I'm not clear on that latter bit, but I keep seeing posts regarding issues like that.
  17. That ceases to be a good point when the person you're talking to also has a fair amount of shit going on.
  18. If Im not mistaken HANS was supposed to be updated to support dlc some time ago. I dont think most of this team keeps up with new releases and exploits.
  19. From what I've seen it looks very possible to write a guide on this. you'll need all necessary titles attributed to your nintendo network ID (you have to buy the game and all the dlc through the eshop/in game) and then you have to get the ticket.db from your nand (if you split your nands like you should have than it will be on your emunand I presume). This would allow you to download the cia files and from there its a matter of patching the cia files and then installing them onto your cfw.
  20. It should be but its been an awful long time since anyone from team b has given us any news.
  21. This line of thinking... it's a bit naive, isn't it? The US special edition is the only physical copy that had the third path, Revelations, on the cart. The edition was in extremely limited stock and didn't even last until release. Many people had their orders canceled on them. Most of your users and potential users are forced to get this path as dlc and would need to know how to patch dlc in order to apply the story patch to it. Yet despite this, by the same token that your guide does not explain how to patch digital copies of the base game, your guide does not explain how to patch dlc. I don't care if you write a guide on this yourself or not, but don't act like there's no call for it.
  22. When I looked through it it seemed pretty worthless to people like me who obtained the game digitally. I understand that I need to downgrade my emunand (delinked nands) to 4.x in order to use an exploit to obtain my title.db/ticket.db so that I can use it to download cia's of games I've purchased through the eshop prior to obtaining that file. What I don't is if there's a more up to date way of doing this by now. that method is a few years old now.
  23. To clarify gifting someone without the patch one of the swimsuits wont cause them any problems. Instead it will just give them a totally different item. I've explained why that is as well as gone into what items actually do need to be avoided when online with the patch in great detail several times already in this thread, so I recommend a quick search if you want to know more on that subject.
  24. There's nothing stopping you from downgrading from 10.7 either. Downgrading from 10.3+ just requires you to use a different downgrader than before. Dont really need a hard mod anymore, at least for the time being.
  25. Because of the way Ids got moved around the 4 items for those with the patch that can cause problems for other players without the patch are the emblem shield, the love bracelet, the love swimsuit, and the hoshidan mask. I've made a few posts about this earlier in the topic if you want to read up on the details. Suffice it to say, using the swimsuits themselves shouldn't cause any problems for you as other player's games will just read and output them as other items. Those four I listed above, however, are now sitting on item ids that don't exist for players that don't have the patch, so they're the problematic ones.
