  2. if you're not a conqueror either, then you're not eating enough. EAT MORE FRUITS AND VEGETABLES~!!!!!!!!!!!!! EAT ALL OF THEM~!!!!!!!!!!
  3. yeah, especially considering that Lucina explicitly states that her father taught her how to fight. so either Lucina sped things up with her flapping and struggling when she moved to the past, or Chrom taught a newborn baby how to fight. history isn't apparently just one line in the games, but a whole mess of intertwined timelines. it's just that the game's timeline is the important one because it's the one where Grima was defeated.
  4. i am america's next top model

  9. am i the only person who doesn't want the Fire Emblem games on a home console? and as far as remakes, i would be most happy with FE4 and 5 being remade, as long as all the nice good things used in FE13 were also used in those games. i don't believe in remakes if they are kept nearly identical to the original, they should be updated to be up to par with the current games being made.
  10. in my Male Avatar playthrough, i married olivia with Chrom and Male Avatar with Lissa. then i went and married Lucina with Owain and Inigo with Morgan for ultimate keeping it in the family. then all four apparently went off into the sunset at the end to start a happy orgy family together

  13. 1.) Awakening: My absolute favorite. I love the gameplay and the characters (honestly, I don't think there is any character I actually dislike in this game, and I couldn't decide who to use on my first playthrough haha). The extended support conversation system really helped give the characters a real personality, i feel. seriously, the game was a collection of all the greatest ideas in the series implemented in one game, and I loved it. I have really not had as much fun playing a fire emblem game as much as i had with this one. 2.) Radiant Dawn: as far as plot goes, I feel that Radiant Dawn is arguably the best (really it's between this game and Gen 1 of Genealogy). i loved the different viewpoints it juggles, gives the conflict a larger scope besides the whole good guys versus bad guys. granted, the plotline of part 4 is rather weak, but overall it works with the themes set up with the Tellius games so I don't mind it much. also, has some of the better gameplay options in the series, and is a lot of fun to replay. If only the different sections had been elaborated on a bit more, in particular parts 1 and 2, and reduced part 4 significantly, and i would be set for this game having the best plotline. 3.) Thracia 776: I don't know why I enjoyed this game so much, but I did. Perhaps it was due to the smaller scale in the conflict, the higher difficulty, the storyline, the gameplay, i don't know. but I enjoyed this game much more than I thought i would. I have always felt that if the games were adapted to movies, this game would be the unusually gritty one that would break the fanbase into a love it or hate it factions. For some reason when I was seeing Les Miserables, I kept thinking of this game. :/ maybe the movie should be a musical too. Cate Blanchett as Eyvel? 4.) Path of Radiance: We like Ike! haha! my introduction to the series, so it obviously has tons of nostalgia added to it. it's a good storyline, a nice break of all the lords and kings that the series usually prefers. i don't really know how to explain it, i guess the plot here felt the most organic of the series, i suppose. makes it seem more real. this also applies to Radiant Dawn, but to a lesser extent due to the limited development that each section receives. 5.) Genealogy of the Holy War: I like this game as the moment where the series grew it beard. i loved the plotline in Generation 1, surprisingly dark for the series and has yet to be matched. the pairing system was also an excellent addition, and the second generation was a nice touch. If only the second generation wasn't quite so boring. :/ however, i don't really like the huge maps, it makes anything not mounted rather useless when they're struggling to catch up. this game was an introduction to the skill system, which personally was one of the best additions to the series. 6.) Sacred Stones: I like the characters and the plotline in this game, if only this game were slightly longer :( the map and the tower/ruins were nice additions, also. 7.) Blazing Sword: The game was great, although for some reason I always felt constrained in this game. I'm not entirely sure why. I enjoyed the characters, and the overall game, it's just that nothing really ever stuck out as memorable to me. 8.) Sword of Seals: I started playing it a few years back, and i have yet to finish it. I just felt bored with the game. 9.) Shadow Dragon: Marth is in this game, who is possibly my least favorite lord ever. The storyline is hampered by being nearly identical to the original FE1 when videogame systems couldn't handle much of anything yet. reclassing was a nice touch i suppose, but it didn't really do much to save the game. the game feels too vanilla for me. I haven't played the rest, so I woulnd't know where to place them

  18. i now have an internet connection, so now i shall log in more often and not so sporadically and shit rejoice Serenes, for Bianchi has returned to reclaim her throne and holy scepter.
  19. i agree 100%. although not my favorite level in Skyward Sword, the Ancient Cistern was the point where i went from "oh this game is kinda cool" to "holy apeshit i love this" and yeah, although i absolutely hated going through the water temple in OoT, but i never thought it was hard. i just hated the fact that i had to be moving up and down constantly, plus i just hated the iron boots in general, and moving around in the water was kinda tedious. and i hated the clams and the iron spiky balls, which also happened to be absolutely everywhere. my playstyle is mostly just run around like a deranged lunatic and swing the sword around to kill all the things, and this temple is specifically designed to kill people who play like me.
  20. you know what would be cool? if JK Rowling wrote a spinoff series about aurors. something i have always really wanted more from the Harry Potter verse is to explore the world of wizards. like the whole world. in her main books, Rowling gives us hints of a wider wizarding world, but since the books are mostly confined to the UK, we never get to really explore it. so it would be really awesome if she actually developed the world by writing a series about aurors. like they seem like a combination of police officers/military/spies/detectives, so she could definitely write a completely awesome series about a group of aurors who are tracking down dangerous dark wizards throughout the wizarding world. like that, we could get to explore the wizarding world, giving Rowling more chances to work out her awesome world-building skills, we would get a thrilling story about fighting wizards, and such and such. ok
  21. Sothe, while nothing major, developed in the way where he permitted Micaiah to act as her own free agent, rather than an individual who needed his constant protection. it wasn't like woah, look out, this character has developed tons, but throughout the course of the game he learned that Micaiah didn't need his constant protection, because yes she can fend for herself. like you said, it's not very significant because the writing wasn't particularly excellent, but it's there. Micaiah was actually pretty significant, though. she went from hiding from all her problems to an individual who was willing to go to any lengths necessary to protect her people. Basically a compounded version of Elincia and Naesala. she went from a character who was constantly moving about in order to avoid being recognized to a famed general who lead the people of Daein to liberty, and became the queen despite her fear of prejudice and hatred in order to fulfill her duty to the citizens of Daein. her main character arc was about her fears versus her sense of duty. i completely forgot about Skrimir, Pelleas, and Naesala.
  22. certainly this. besides Micaiah, Sothe, and Elincia, there wasn't really any character development at all, which is relevant considering the size of the cast in this game. besides, the point of the game wasn't so much on the characters themselves, but on the world and the war. this wasn't a tale about ike and his mercenaries or micaiah and the dawn brigade. it was about the nations just fighting each other and why it was stupid for them to do so, hence the multiple viewpoints. and about Ike delivering the final blow. yes he did, but Micaiah was about as essential to that event as Ike was.
