  1. 28x32 I hope More than enough mountain tiles, hopefully there is enough river/sea tiles.
  2. I order to clear this tiny debate up, I did think that if Final Fantasy can get away with making a Star Wars reference then so can I... so in the end everyone is right... hurray. Anyway, I can't make a post without a few screens, so here is some more work on chapter 10b.
  3. @Feaw: Thanks for the report, I just need to edit Lugh's data, I believe the game is giving him a second chance at life, since you killed the 'tutorial' Lugh. And thanks for the offer of map making, I'll keep it in mind, however I will say the new maps for chapter 10B and 11A are here to stay, I would take far too long to import an FE6 tileset, since my version of Fields tileset didn't go very well. Oh and thanks for the tip. @Seph: Loving the LP perfect free advertising. @Blazer: Yes I will be, and have done a bit already, although they will be staggered across the game quite a bit. Anyway here are some screens from a completely unrelated hack... Well kinda... During the planning process for my FE6 remake, I had planned to add quite a lot new chapters to the hack. Since it would be impractical to implement them all, a few chapters, like this one, will be made into small, one chapter, hacks. These will be released as they are made. I decided to omit this chapter mainly because it didn't quite fit with the storyline, however it was a fun concept and a variation will be included in the FE6 remake, as one of the BS style chapters.
  4. - 3 or more chests... check - stairs inside, exculding entrence... check - throne room... check - outside stuff... check I believe it's 25x24, or 24x25, one of the two....
  5. ^ Thany's battle palette(s), like her portrait have changed to purple-blue color. The other pegasus sisters will also have slightly edited palettes, to have slightly different shades of blue. The first screens of chapter 10B which has changed quite a bit from the original.
  6. Just really been throwing together a few promoted palettes over the past few days, so I'll reveal a just a few for you. Hopefully they’re a little better than the FE6 palettes. Now back to chapter 10B.
  7. ^ Rath could, but I didn't want him to look older than Karel or Dayan... but I might edit him later. Anyway a few more screens from that chapter, but I won't be showing anymore, because of real spoilers. The chapter will be released with the next patch, which will be when I complete chapter 12 or something.
  8. May as well throw in an entry, can't do any harm now, can it? EDIT: Slight entry change, forgot about the 'or' between Mountian pass and castle.
  9. More work on the first prologue trial map chapter, not too many spoilers. This chapter has gone through quite allot of stages, as can be seen in the set of screenshots below... Ah, nothing quite beats an epic fight sequence with 'In the name of Bern' playing unless you’re a Rath fan.
  10. ^True, didn't see LGs post. At least I got Arch to give a whole load of screens... yay!
  11. Teehee, super hackers think alike. Badass idea for a tale though, then again it may end up more of a massacre than strategic challenge.
  12. Does no one ever think of the obvious option that there is more than one playable map in this single chapter?
  13. @Arch: I would love to edit the backgrounds, it'll take a bit of time and a lot of work, I've started working on it, but don't expect anything soon. In other news chapter 10A is complete, now to start on 10B...
  14. ^ Oh, sorry Arch, I forgot, it was nintendo's idea. And more screens, now extra Gonzales: Should see this chapter finished sometime next-year.
  15. Dulam's from FE3, I gave permission to Arch to use my tome sprites. I did state I was going to use it earlier. But yeah it's a short range version of hel/eclipse, which will be a nice enemy-only dark magic tome, in order to add a little challenge to some of the later Druid bosses, like Nord here. Which should hopefully clear up everything...
  16. ^ The artists of FE6 didn't do the best of jobs with most of their sprites, did they? Though I can happily say chapter 10A is underway, and after a little more planning I should be ready to start 10B. Anyway a few screens to keep you guys happy.
  17. Happy belated Christmas, the internet is never part of the festivities for me so I would have been late anyway, but I'm still in time to wish you a happy new year :)

  18. Each tale just seems to get better than the last, awesome to see that Ryerde is going to play some kind of role, I don't think that kingdom was even mentioned in the manga. Correct me if I'm wrong but IIRC Fargus's ship was called the Davros, no the Darvos.
  19. Well Chapter 9 is finished! [spoiler=Chapter 9 screens] I kinda hoped to get to chapter 12 by the end of the year, but that might have been a little ambitious. Anyway chapter 10A should be underway very soon, however expect slow progress with the Christmas festivities. Thanks again for all the positive comments.
  20. I plan to import most of the tracks from FE6, including the world map themes, however as I see many of you have suggested I shall still use the FE7 versions of FE6 tracks, as opposed to importing them. Anyway more updates on chapter 9, Fir and Shin have their own enemy battle palette and instead of tactician conversations there will be special conversations between certain characters if you deploy them.
  21. I usually fiddle about with the colours in Paint.net, to make this palette I simply made all the grass shades a little yellower and toned down the brightness a bit. 'Fog' is a littler easier, you simply place a slightly transparent white gradient over the original, or grey/black for 'night' fog, like in FE8. Implementing it in the Rom is the hard part, well more time consuming than hard. All you have to do is get the hex values for your new palette colours, with GBA palette picker, and insert them over the original palette. Though it takes around 30 minutes to insert your new palette, if you do it my way. However it could take any amount of time to design your new palette. I hope that helps.
  22. Huzzah, I've made the 'foggie' half of the palette, so there's a nice lot of screens showing it off, and one convo screen, just to show I've done other stuff. On a side note, Scott (represented currently by a generic FE8 Bandit), will hopefully get his own custom mug in the near future. But until then the FE8 mug will do.
  23. Well I can't say I haven't already considered including Great Knights and Recruits for Wendy, but I will say that Assassins, Halberdiers and Mage Knights will not be included. Generic enemies won't differ much from the original, however some Boss classes may change such as Scott, in chapter 9 and maybe a few others, so there is a chance that special classes may be introduced for a few of the more important boss fights. Rogues are a definite yes however you'll just have to wait and see what other classes I include.
  24. At last, some progress. I still need to make a fog palette for chapter 9, but that shouldn't take too long. And I did know about the 'knight' triangle attack, thank you again Shadowofchaos, I may change Wendy back to a knight and include it. Most of the last patches changes from the original game were simply trials, to see how popular they were with you guys.
