Try to remove and add the same google account in settings - accounts and restart android afterwards.
Also, did you use stable Services Core (0.24) or the latest preview (0.24-79)? Because it can matter in this case.
Anyways, I'm glad it works for you.

Changing from stable to the latest preview fixed it; didn't think that something that small would have such a big impact. Thanks for the all the help!

Be sure that you activated fakegapps module in xposed (tick box).
Go to settings - apps and check if there're original play services being present. Remove them once again if they're still there.
In the end the list of downloaded apps should look like this (excluding trebuchet):

      Hide contents

*facepalm*, I forgot to turn on the FakeGapps module.

Now it says the game won't run unless I update Google Play services, but I can actually get into the game if I back out after it takes me to the Play Store. Seems like the app thinks I don't have Play Services when I first open it up, but the game still runs in the background.

I think I found a solution for some emulators. I'm using Nox and I didn't have any errors for 2 days already.

803-3001 error is caused by Google's SafetyNet. SafetyNet is a part of Google Play Services. So I'd think "hmm, maybe if I just remove those play services and also play market (because play market downloads play services automatically) everything will work just fine".

But nope, after removing these 2 apps I got an error 803-3021. Apparently it happens because FE Heroes checks if there's google account registered on android device. And because I deleted Play Services it can't do it properly for whatever reason.

SO. I found a thing called microG. It's a replacement for official play services. I won't describe here what's the purpose of microG, you can check it by yourself on microG site or on xda.

There's useful feature for us - microG can disable SafetyNet. And so I installed it and, so far, didn't get any errors in FE Heroes whatsoever.

Here's an easy instruction how to install it on your android emulator. Note that I'm using Nox and I can't say if it will work on your emulator.

    0) FIRST OF ALL, remove all your google accounts from android emulator.
    1) Get root on Nox. You don't have to download anything, just activate root in Nox settings.
    2) Install xposed, install framework via xposed, reboot android. Now go to modules, search for FakeGapps and install it. Activate it and reboot android once again.
    3) Go to /system/priv-app with standard file manager and delete all apps listed here, though you can keep Phonesky (aka Play Store) if you want. Also delete updates for Play Services in settings -> apps. Reboot android once again.
    4) Now download microG Services Core (get the latest preview) and Services Framework Proxy from here. Install them both.
    5) Launch microG. Turn on Google device registration and Google Cloud Messaging. After that you can add your google account either through system settings or play market. After adding google account and launching play market first time it will give an error. Just close play market and launch it again - it should work now.

And that's it. Google account is recognised by FE Heroes and SafetyNet is also disabled. Try it by yourself. Forgive my bad english in first place, this tutorial may look silly because of it.

I did everything you listed here, but when I open up Fire Emblem: Heroes, I get an error that it won't run without Google Play Services. When I go to the microG Self-Check, "Play Services has correct signature" is not checked.

Definitely not Bryce, my best guess for now is Kyle McCarley.

Also can we not go around asking actors if they're doing roles? They usually can't reveal things before games release anyway.

I'd second that guess. It sounds a lot like his Mikazuki from Gundam: Iron Blooded Orphans.

An interesting piece of info popped up recently: the draw rates for heroes on the different banners and such.

    http://www.perfectly-nintendo.com/fire-emblem-heroes-plenty-additional-details-previews-system-requirements-etc/

    3-star hero: 61%

    4-star hero: 36%

    5-star hero: 3%

I play Final Fantasy Record Keeper quite a bit, and compared to the current content in the game, the 3% draw rate is about equivalent to the rate of what you'd get if you managed to get one of the top prizes on a banner in FFRK (either Overstrike Soul Break relics or Burst Soul Break relics). I know that you can't really compare the two, since one is items, and the other is people, but at least the overall draw rates for rare content aren't "terrible" like some games are.

Except with Record Keeper, it's a 13% overall chance to get any 5*. 3% is awful, but going to have to wait and see how summoning fully works before I pass final judgement. Front page news post made it seem like there's a rolling gacha.

  6. There is a surprising amount in Akihabara when I went. It didn't take much searching at all. In fact, it was in the very first shop I entered, and I wasn't even looking for Fire Emblem merchandise.

Otherwise, you can check shops in stations. Though I would still go for Akiba, lol. I wouldn't worry too much about not having enough to buy either. Anything that isn't a pen, or a mousepad or something like that, costs a buttload of money.

I see, thanks. The only swag I found at Ikebukuro was sold out Robin and Lucina amiibos, and empty Fire Emblem if cartidge cases. Was pretty disappointed. And I was even searching for the new trading cards for giggles but I guess those weren't released yet.

I'm asking my bro if he remembers the place where I found some FE4 action figures. You'd probably only want to buy one (if it's still selling the same stuff) because you don't know what figure you're going to get before you open the box.

Much appreciated. So it's esentially a figurine gachapon?
  7. In that "ethereal realm" duel, neither of the two combatants have the characteristic "evil" look, so I assume both are probably playable. Hell, it'd be hilarious if the twist is they are the lords of the game and you choose a faction and stick with it. Or I guess it could also work like how it did in Radiant Dawn and the switching of perspectives.

Same art designer though? Some of his designs were just a tad questionable in Awakening and I already see Lucina in the dancer girl...

  8. My girlfriend was trying to get me to try that a couple months ago. She says it works great, but I think it's nothing special compared to Ac ai berry.

The commercials are so convincing that I just want to buy boxes of it and just sip on them every 5 hours because there is NO CRASH later. An alternative is to drink maybe 10 in a short time frame and see what happens.

I don't even know if my local megamart sells Acai berries. They do seem a little too good to be true (Just like the 5 hour energy drink).

  9. fuck, I gotta get it

does google chrome auto update? I noticed a change a bit ago.

Apparently the new version came out late January, but my Chrome decided to update itself today. Go figure.

    Well fuck me

I don't think you should completely abandon FireFox yet since Chrome 4.0 is still in its infancy stage. There are some good add-ons that FireFox has that are now in Chrome such as AdBlock Plus and WOT.

  10. Farina, man. Isn't she like a flying tank in comparison to others? Her Avo & Atk are actually reliable, Florina's durability is terrible, Fiora's is below decent, she's just balanced.

EDIT: Vannesa is basically Fiora with Luck, her support with Moulder is also overrated when it come sto debates, you are not going to have a healer and a flyer close by every turn on an effeciency run.

I thought Vanessa was supposed to support with Mage Knight!Lute.

I hate the Falco Knights, but I guess Vanessa gets my vote.

  11. This might be old for some people, but my Chrome just updated itself to 4.0 today and now it has add-ons! extensions! This was one of two things that bothered me about Chrome, not having add-ons like FireFox, but now it's ZETTA awesome :awesome: .

Now if only they could change the way Chrome opens and saves downloadable files.
