Ugh, where to start; Cordelia the most poorly writen Mary Sue and her fanbase adoring her like a goddess, Florina that only exist to being bench and tries to be cute but fail terribly at it, the little shit of Sothe that almost ruined Radiant Dawn for me, why you steal so much the spotlight when you're not important beside being Micaiah boyfriend? Male Morgan and his generic nice and bland guy personality, Pieri/Peri that is a fucking Ax-crazy with a ridiculous hair and a sob backstory to make you feel pity but her pycho and amoral self just nulify anything, if exist, good about her, Silas who is a hypocrit ass, if you only care about one person don't waste your time trying to be a nice guy to everyone, I find Joker/Jakob better because of that in comparison, Delthea and her ridiculous high ego and being a brat, only excusable 'cause she is child, Faye who only personality trait is being Alm fangirl and just pinning after him and Takumi because he is a jerk that the game wants you to pity, ugh

I belive is beetwen canonical pairings, lord love interest and unrequited love, if they want to be risly, implied canon pairing like Eliwood/Ninian and Ike/Soren (I'll support them of that happend) can be counted. I believe unrequited love is easiest the most probable, we have a bunch of characters that fill that; Titania, Leon, Palla, Catria, Cordelia and Faye.

I want Hector, Bunilla and Celica the most, already have BLyn, Genny Ayra, Ike and Deidre, I want Bridal Caeda but I don't want Spring Xander and Fjorm is already free, and I dislike Cordelia so... But I have like 6 orbs and I need that BIke, I'm dying in a sea of Ninos and Cherches right now

Micaiah, she is one of my favorite female lord because her problem with moral and her loyalty for Daein above anything else, how she will do anything even if it's bad to protect what she believes in, also I love her design. But I have a few issues with her, aside that IS don't know how to write a female protagonist, they don't even if I like Celica and Lyn, I don't have much problem with her stats, she is pretty good... Not like Chrom, he is trash, the only lord that I find bad stat wise. First of all is Sothe, Sothe is just a problem, is not 100% about Micaiah but their interaction relationship. He is just a PAIN IN THE ASS, in the start I was fine, but he just become a pain in part 3 & 4, he is just so anoying, I just wanted to him to shut up and disappear, Nolan must take his story rol in part, he was DB lider, why he don't get any spotlight? Also, I don't have a problem with the "wife husbandry" topic, I like it in fact, but they insisted so much that they were only like siblings... No, is just disgusting. RD just make me dislike Sothe a lot. Second is Ike stealing her spotlight, I love Ike like a lot of people out there, one of my favorite male lord along Hector, but he and Yune putting Micaiah in the background damaged her a lot, as much as Echoes turning Celica in a damisele in distress. That sucked. Third, her backstory, I mean, why she is so loyal to Daein? How was her life before meeting Sothe and before Dawn Brigade? I feel that they lefted a lot about Micaiah outside, Ike get a lot of backstory, and even secondary characters as Jill or the three brothers get their well fleshed backstory that covered and explained a lot their motives and all, but I feel we don't know much about our own protagonist, but probably is fault of the lack of supports. But she is our protagonist and beside the apostole thing, we don't know that much about her past and I wish we could know.

OMG THIS, JUST THIS But on a more serious note, aside from rewritte the entire mess of plot? Well: First of all, give us some development for the Dawn Brigade, we don't know anything about them, so we don't have reasons to care about them, I want to know more of Nolan and my boy Aran, I love Aran but we hardly get to know him. Give more focus to Micaiah, Yune and Ike stealing her time in game was bullshit, she deserved better, as well give us some backstory, like how she ended on Daein or how she joined the Dawn Brigade or some like that. Don't make Sothe obligatory on the tower, he is not good and Heather or Volke do a better job, and why he has dialogue with the bosses? Why the plot think that I care that much about him, I didn't even ship him with Micaiah. Why they have to get married when in game they always treated each other as siblings and the fact that Micaiah basically raised him? Blood pact. Reveal the Black Knight identity in a less stupid amd anticlimatic way, seriously Give my son Soren more spotlight, he deserve it, he fucking needed it, I mean, that bullshit of Just... Fuck it! Give the new character some time to make us care about them, we almost don't know anything of them, only some basic things Why Tormod just dissapair of the plot!? Why!? Make some scenes like the Ike's memory one obtanaible at first playtrought, RD is a hell of long and tedious game and we have to play it TWO times to obtain some IMPORTANT SCENE, why? Give us actually supports, seriously, give me supports or give me death

I know why someone can find Soren unlikeable, but it hurts me because I love my precious boy; I really like harsh and hard to like characters, I like tragic backstories, I love Soren's desing and how he develops from PoR to RD. Soren life was a full load shit thanks to his asshole of a dad, he is cold and logical kind of guy because of his life experience, and only care for Ike because he was the only one to be nice with him. He grown alone and without love, and I have a thing for that kind of characters; but I dislike Takumi, he is a dick 'cause yes and he hardly grown from it, Soren is well-written not like Takomeme. And thinking of it, Soren would do a hell of a villain, kinda like Zephiel if you think about it, with the difference that Soren hates everything but Ike.

I'll be rooting for my boy Soren, he is my fav character of all Fire Emblem games, he is my sweet son and he will have lobster for dinner. Also, he has to win to be with his boyfriend in the "Voting Gauntlet winners" exclusive club.

IS played us dirty with Ayra, I'm really salty at them, but I was lucky with the banner; a free Gray and then friking Ayra appear, I'm still in shock, where was this luck when I pulled for Innes? Luckily I have Sigurd and Deidre for the TT, also Ayra, I will use these two along with Ninian and Lucius/Lachesis, I have a 4 stars +3 Lachesis, she is useful finally. Also, I need these delicious feathers for Arvis and these nice coins

I like, but people hate: Soren: I know that Soren is well liked, but I've seen a lot of people hating him and I'm like, why? For me he is not only an awesome mage, he is my favorite character in the entire franchise, he has a well-writtem backstory and a personality to match and his design is just so pretty to look at. He is my precious cinnamon roll, I can't stand seeing people hate him, Soren is the best character in a game that I've seen in my life, because he is very human, I know that people like different things, but I find very hard to dislike him, also, he deserve all the happiness in the world, and after living a hell when as child, you can't spect him to be all happy and friendly, and he opened slowly and become less harsh in RD but still he remained a little closed and still only trusted Ike, he got a realist development. And I find ridicuolous that some people bash on him because he is canon-implied to be Ike love interest, they don't get any simpathy from me. Sumia: She is my second waifu from Awakening, she is an amazing lady, she has confidence issues but she try her best to become better, she loves to read and she is so lovely and pretty, and some stupid people hate her because canon-implied, sigh, such idiocy, yeah, the Chrom support is trash but Chrom himself is trash. And Robin can be male or female so no sense of saying she steal Chrom from her, and Cordelia don't do anything to get Chrom, she don't have any right so hating Sumia because her friend is stupid, I'd take Sumia over Cordelia everytime. Celica and Micaiah, these two awesome ladies deserved better, the story of their games played bad for both, but Celica is more human and have more deep than Alm, even if I love him, is a shame that Celica as awesome as she is was put in the naive and damisel in disaster, and Micaiah moral dilema was nice, I dislike how Yune and Ike stoled her screentime. Justice for females lord. Pelleas: Yeah, the blod pact was stupid, yeah, he should read before firm anything, but Pelleas really growth as a person and as a king during the game, he tried his best for Daein, even if he ended up being only a pawn of Izuka and lived a lie, he do his best even when he was weak and shy, I just love Pelleas. Makalov: I don' hate him nor I like him, also he is kinda funny to read, but I agree that he ruined Astrid's character, she lose her dignity when she fall in love with him. Ninian: Just, just... Same case as Sumia and Soren, she is so pretty, she is a nice unit, her story and role in the plot are so neat, she is a sweet girl that deserved better. The Fates cast, yeah, there are some trash and bad writted as Pieri and so, but there are a lot of amazing, with neat backstories, no as neat as Soren's one, and pretty desings, they deserved better than a bad writted game and a Gary Stu/Mary Sue protagonist. Any mage with social skill, that archetype just bring me life, I can see why people may not like them, but I love their weird interactions. I hate, but people like: Silas: omg, I can't stand this guy, he is an hypocrit! He tried to play the best friend and nice guy, bit he is an asshole! He is as harsh as Joker/Jakob! But why? I can't stand he is nice friend to Kamui but an ass to other people but he tries to appear nice to others, that drive me crazy. Also, why you being a Nohr knight turn side when you want to? Also, I prefer competitive childhood friend like Boyd, oh Boyd I love you so much. Faye: Her only trait is being obsessed with Alm! She is an ass to anyone that is not Alm for NO reason, Soren was a worse stalker, more obsessed and more of a dick, but he wss well-writted and his personality made sense and was justified, this thot don't. Leon is in love with Valbar and talk a lot of him, he adores him but don't come as Faye, he is not a pain in the ass and I don't want to let him die, in fact I love him, but Faye is just a failure as a character, burn her. And I like Tharja and Camilla, so go figure. Chrom: My least liked lord of all the games I've played till now, at least I liked Kamui desing and support wise, also is an awesome unit, but Chrom even if time to time funny in suports, always turn a trash unit that need someone to protect him, he is a pain in the ass, also I dislike generic protagonist, and even more his stupid hypocrit personality that just appear when the plot need it, just fuck yourself Chrom. Also, I find his fangirls really anoying. Seth: I don't care if he is a good unit, SS is an easy game, I find him boring and overrated and I dislike his ship with Eirika, he can enjoy the bench alone, I don't see the appealing, and Titania and Frederick are more enjoyable Oifayes, I'd take them anytime over this dude, just fuck Seth. Donnel: I like other trainee units, but I can't like this guy, I just dislike his country nice guy act, and he is not that nice unit, more than anything I hate is fame and his fanboys. Cordelia: I hate Catria archetype, I don't tend to like redhead ladies and I HATE perfectionist like characters, Cordelia has a some thing that might make her a nice and well-written character, but all that the game do is praising her for being pretty, perfect, she never do anything wrong and everyone love her, she is a freaking Mary Sue! How a guy can not mind marry a girl that love other dude? That's gross, also, why everyone want to praise her? And her humble act make everything more anoying, and she is not that pretty nor good unit, Sumia is better imo. The only thing that I like about her is her daughter, she is a well and realistic character. Delthea: I just hate perfectionist characters, and she is an anoying brat! She is a dick to Luthier and I love Luthier, I'd take him over his brat sister all the time, I love my null social skill mage archetype, not brats... Even if I love Ricken. Male Morgan: I hate generic bland nice guy archetype, I find Morgan anoying without any personality, he can burn in hell, I'd take his female counteroart anytime anyday. The only good thing about him is that he can be Priam's son and has that beautiful blue hair.

Before playing PoR and RD, I used to think that IkeSoren shippers were only like LynFlorina shippers, zero basis and just exageration, but after played both games and reading their information for the artbooks, and a lot of meta analysis, I can't not bring myself to burn in the IkeSoren Hell. I mean, their relationship is like Eliwood and Ninian one, and they were my favorite Lord ship, Soren even has an asshole dad to match! Ike and Soren relationship is based on loyalty and trust to each other, Soren adores Ike and can only be happy at his side, he owes him a lot, he means a lot to him. And I doubt it can be one-sided, in PoR Ike always remember us the player that he worries about Soren a lot, and notes even the more little detail about him, like Soren being angry, and Ike never refuse Soren anything, he says no to Aimee, she is a stalker but Soren stalks Ike even more, to Elincia, and don't show interest in any woman, but he shows interest in Soren, and even Ranulf. Also, is taken as canon in RD that thay have A support from PoR, they even have an extra base conversation about how they meet for first time, I fucking cried when Soren says that he only wanted to see Ike one more time, I fucking cried! Also, both of them seems to feel good in each other company, they have a good chemistry. I admit that they're not canon, but is a fact that they're implicated at EliwoodxNinian level. Also, they follow the classic formula of the lord romantic relationship with a non human girl. And follow the basis of the "one of them is a non human being at all and people hate them, but only one person cares and then love starts", like in "Elfen Lied" with Kaede and Kouta... Minus the tragic ending, also the way they meet remembered me of the true route of " euphoria"... In how the protagonist meet the canon girl, not the porn part. Also, thanks to The Legend of Zelda I despiste or hate heroxprincess dinamic, too cliche and boring, also, IkexElincia was created by the translators. But after to be treated as a filthy fujoshi, I don't have problems with people shipping Ike with whoever they want, is a taste think, but I'm a looser to character with tragic past in love with the person that tries to help them. Ans I want a love like Ike and Soren ones. As for Micaiah, she and Sothe don't click to me, and usually I don't have problems with canon pairings to the lord, but I would prefered Micaiah with Pelleas than Micaiah with Sothe any time. Also, even if I like HaarxJill, SothexMicaiah is like weird, I mean, even if Haar meet Jill when she was a baby, he never treats her like she is his daughter or something like that. For me Micaiah is better with Pelleas, I love Pelleas And all the fiercy loyal love interest is better played at Soren than Sothe. And Soren has the plus of the funny love triangle thing with Aimee, SorenxIkexAimee is my OT3 actually. Also, Priam can still be canon EVEN if Ike is gay.

After finished RD and saw the extra scenes and base conversations, I have bitter feeling toward this game, I loved PoR, but RD is a little mess, not at the levels of Fates, that's impossible. My major problem is that when in PoR the medallion was extremly important and everyone was focused on it, in RD, despiste showing us the dark goddess/loli, the thing don't have screen time until, like, part 3? Also the cange of focus at the last part when is logic 'cause medalion plot device, was kinda weird, the game focus on showing conflicts that don't required so much time, what matter finally was the war against the goddess and such. The story telling was just a mess. I don't gonna say anything about the support system, we all know how shitty is. But my other major problem is all the Ashnard son thing; the fact of giving us so much backstory to it, plot relevance and the fake prince with Pelleas was interesting and I really like it, also made Ashnard change from "Cool villain" to "asshole dad" in my book, but made him even more mad than before, that's good, right? But my truly big problem with it, is that the game think that telling us, in a scene with ridiculous requeriments, at the fucking end of the game, that a plot important character, Soren, is truly his son and leave like: "That is all, someone is hungry?" PoR and RD takes canon that you A supported Soren and Ike and knows that Soren is branded, and has a crappy childhood, and in RD we receive a lot of info regards Soren's born circustances and all, but the delivery of the conclussion is just lazy, I feel it lazy, Soren never even knews that! I don't know others, but after a few days of finished the game and thinking back at it... It drive me crazy, wasted potential, Soren is one of my favorite characters, he is plot relevant, but is like a crazy surprise kind of "surprise motherfucker!" is even more anticlimatic than Ranulf saying "Zelgius is the BK btw" is just lazy. Also Ike stealing Micaiah spotlight, Yune do the same btw, is kind of... Meh, I mean, I really didn't care about DB 'cause the null personification of them, more wasted potential I guess, I get bored with them and I just wanted to go back at Greil's mercenaries. But Micaiah as character and what she does was interesant and I wanted more of it, but alas.
