@Anacybele Won't count your Frederick vote. It is possible to do constructive explainations without letting your bias show in such an obvious manner.
Your vote for Cherche is fine though. This is very unfair towards Ana. It's not right to discount her vote just because her love of Frederick is well known. While her write up was glowing, it certainly wasn't that unreasonable, and her rating of 8.5 isn't crazy (unlike a couple of the ratings for Nowi a couple of days ago), nor was it even that much higher than what others were giving him, since there were several other ratings of 7. 7.5 and 8 for him.

I'm usually running Cecilia as my lead (Gronnraven+ w/Triangle Adept), but I'm open to switching it up if anyone needs something specific and I'm able to provide.
-
My Outrealm (992) also left team Anna with just her HQ. What is it about Anna's army that's so disadvantageous? I missed most of the event, but was her starting position that bad?
-
Looks like I'll be joining Lucina for the finals, switching my lead back to Lyon to counter Kagero plus all the other colorless and green units she will be sending against us.
-
Whelp, Chrom's almost certainly doomed. I don't see him making up the difference in the final hour without a multiplier.

I'm afraid you missed my joke. You referred to Lucina(?) as "giant unnatural balloon boobs", which I thought I was a bit of an overstatement, so I joked that you were actually referring to Kagero who would've fit the description better.
But yeah I'm on the same boat in terms of avoiding Lucina.
I believe Ana was referring to Kagero, actually. I read that as she would rather join Chrom against Lucina than 'giant balloon boobs' against Lucina.
These last couple hours have been quite a nail biter for Lucina vs. Chrom. I hope Chrom can pull out a win in the final hour, more victory feathers would be nice.
Also, Ephraim demands justice. -
I'm switching my lead to L'Arachel to counter the Red units I've been seeing, but if there's anyone on Chrom's team that needs someone else let me know!
-
This is the opportunity for Chrom to avenge Ephraim's defeat at the hands of Lucina in the first voting gauntlet, now that he actually has a chance to win! How fitting that I haven't bothered changing my profile picture in over a year.

I, too, have noticed an increasingly high number of Brave Lyns, both in the Voting Guantlet as well as in the Arena. Is there a reason units that counter her aren't seen more? I've been very happy with my Lyon and Cecilla, for example, but I don't think I've seen anyone else running either of them this Guantlet so far.
-
It seems that Team Chrom has quite an uphill battle to climb, but if anyone wants another friend (on Team Chrom or otherwise) my ID is 7143938853. I'm currently running Lyon with Triangle Adept and Bowbreaker to counter all of the Brave Lyns and random greens I've been seeing, but you need someone else let me know and I'll see what I can do!

Sweet, now Lucius can get Wrathful Staff so he can raise his offense to a more respectable level.

Fire Emblem is designed with the intent of every character being usable if you put enough effort into them. Things get messy if you start adding challenges or conditions to your run, however. For example, Amelia is perfectly usable in SS Hard Mode, but not if you're not willing to grind the tower for her.

Elmdor's stuff was definitely able to be stolen or broken in the original, I have done so personally. The only boss with innate Maintenance in the original (as far as I remember) was Balk. I think Wiegraf has the ability actually equipped in Riovannes, as well.
However, Blade Grasp does work against the Steal command, so trying to steal his stuff without savestates is a giant pain, as you can imagine.
-
You didn't steal the Chantage? It would have made Agrias (or any female character, really) just as, if not more immortal than Ramza and Thurio.
Also, screw Finnath Creek.
-
Beowulf is possibly my favorite unit in this game. He's basically a suped-up Oracle, which is one of my favorite generic classes.
-
Luso was included in WotL simply to promote the upcoming FFTA2, kinda like Roy in Melee.
-
Gawain is indeed Greil's real name. He changed it while concealing his identity in Gallia.
-
What was Bran's deal, anyway? I'm guessing you were using him as a punching bag for Talk Skill? I doubt you'd let him just leave if it was for Move-Find Item.
-
I assumed it was for Ninjas, which are basically better than Thieves in every way.
-
I always wondered whether Glevanne actually had anything to do with the kidnapping or if Delita simply used him as a stool pigeon. All signs point to him being involved here, but I remember it being less clear in the original.

That thing with the game appearing to bug out is just the cursor trying to show you the stats for two different heights on the same tile. I believe there's a setting in the options to adjust how frequently it jumps between the two. There aren't a ton of maps that have tiles with overhangs and such, and I believe most of them are story/sidequest maps anyway, which is probably why you've never seen it before.
I oftentimes wonder what this game would be like with less knights and more diversity of other classes, especially later on in the game. There are some classes you don't see as enemies at all, for example.
-
Does their (slightly) higher MA boost the damage of Lightning Bow spell procs? I believe it does, but I'm too lazy to double check at the moment. Regardless, you'd still rather have the males' higher PA, but it is something.

Huh. Well, I guess I was wrong the several times in the TA2 LP that I referred to Goug as a connection with FFTA lmao
You are right, though, I remember Baguba now. The Aisenfield was the area in both - and there's a Salikawood in TA and IIRC 12.
Yep, Salikawood is in XII. Giza Plains is also in both, as is Ambervale (although you never go there in XII).
There are a couple of areas shared between the games, apparently. Bervenia appears as a palace in FFTA, but is a region with a city and volcano in FFT. Roda Volcano is in FFTA and Revenant Wings. Ozmonfield in FFTA and Ozmone Plain in XII are hinted at being the same place, as well. There's probably others I'm not remembering, besides.
-
I never used Invite much myself due to the terrible base accuracy, but I like the idea of Ramza convincing his enemies to join him with words like some kind of Fire Emblem protagonist.
As for Goug, I'm pretty sure it's only in Tactics and FFTA2. It's definitely not in XII, I don't believe it's in Revenant Wings, and the moggle town in FFTA is called Baguba Port.

If anyone on Team Ike wants to add me, my ID is 7143938853, screen name 'Radiant'. I also sent some requests to other people I've seen on Team Ike, I hope that's okay! I'm currently running Sothe as my lead, but I can switch if someone needs another color (although it sounds like people are looking for colorless as it is).
