Ike teammates!! If you still have some flags left, dumb all now. We will tank this multiplier!!

The problem is that except in the final round it makes more sense to hold the flags to boost your score going into the finals.

Because the multiplier makes actually caring who wins a sucker’s bet, playing for yourself and not the team is incentivized.

    >Bride Sanaki

    What. The. Fuck.

I mean, Sanaki is one of my favorite characters in Tellius and FE in general as a whole, but ...

    SHE'S THIRTEEN.

Sanaki: This outfit is just for the festival! Don’t get any weird ideas.

She’s playing dress-up.  Nothing to see here.

Edit: I see I’m late to the party, but still not sure how this is even an issue.

Lmfao ?, a 5th Lyn and she's a legendary hero with insane skills. I'm definitely heading over to GameFaqs and Reddit to bask in all of the salt.

I'm gonna try and hold my orbs until the last day or so to see if anything pops up during golden week. If nothing of interest pops up then I'm going to pull green, Lyn's animations are amazing and I really want Henry for armor emblem shenanigans.

Golden Week activities are already posted. No banner it seems, but Kaze is free!

Thunder's Fist is such a POWERFUL title!  Reinhardt is the most ALPHA male in Fire Emblem Heroes.

And the final map music just fits Reinhardt to a tee.

I know he’s not technically the main antagonist, but Reinhardt’s stature grew a lot for me this TT.

  5. IS seems to be targeting feather mercenaries this time.  First round doesn’t have any super obvious blowouts.  They matched up the heavy hitters against each other.  Round 2 should be better and hopefully an underdog will advance to finals.

Sigh... I really hate this mode.  I refuse to get invested in my favorites because this isn’t a real competition.  I wish they could just throw us a bone and use sensible brackets.

    Sure.

One is green and the other colourless. Why having it make sense when we don't have to?

Dragon colors don’t have any inherent basis in the lore.  Other than Great Flame and Expiration all the Breath weapons are inheritable without regard to color.

She is colorless because it’s cool, doesn’t need to make anymore sense than that.

Well this is weird, but female Robin means a skip. Seriously, though, how are they picking these? Why would female Robin get one before Chrom, Lucina, or even the more popular male Robin (okay, so maybe they just want to keep them balanced)?

While it's good I don't want the next one if this is the case, this might mean it will be a while before they come back around and do an Awakening character I'd want.

Well so far the older characters that get Legendary status have all been the main characters (or one of the main characters) of their respective games.  Robin sorta shares that role with Chrom, but your self insert character would be more likely I would think to get the nod.

  8. Well given that I already have all four of the finalists, and with good IVs at that, I’m hoping that Hector or Tharja win because they each bring great fodder along with them.

I can find a use for Warding Breath, but I could use 20+ Distant Counters and still want more.

And as usual, i finally get around to do Robin F Infernal, which wraps up all GHB done with the Askrtrio as units.

BTW Harsh command found its first use in a GHB lol

    Enjoy

I wished I had put Harsh Command on the BK; Lissa took almost no damage but those darn axe fighters were a pain with their debuffs.

The combination of Sigurd and Reinhardt is insanely strong, I feel, which has allowed me to just use raw power rather than strategy in many cases. Armor, however, I find much harder. If you take Robin's GHB for example, I don't believe there's any way for them to trigger the enemy without getting hit by three different attacks from three different colors.

That’s correct, but Sheena or W!Lissa with the Distant Defense seal can survive the red mage and the rest to trigger.  Los Angeles Hector could probably do it as well if he was +Res.  In any event having an armor buffer behind them is very helpful.

If they have Distant Counter all the better.

Did all 4 infernal quests. From easiest to hardest it was Infantry, Armour, Flier, Cavalry. Screw that wolftome cavalier.

I had to send Brave Lyn on a bare knuckle run to kill the Wolf tome cavalier before he could attack.  Had to buff her up good to survive the reprisal from his comrades, but I made it work.

Wowza, those Infernal Xander quests were tough...  The previous two days of GHB Elite quests were a breeze, but this one had me totally stumped for a while.  I had to use a few potions to figure it out.  Flier Emblem was done on my first try, but Infantry, Cavalry, and Armour were toughies for me.

Flier was the issue for me, having a unit that could take down the green mages in enemy phase made the other quests range from easy to a decent challenge.

This was really fun though, burned a couple of stamina potions, burned some fodder (moment of silence for Henry please), and had to think about this for a bit.

    Looking forward to tomorrow.

@kcirrot As one who hoards I think there is an important distinction between eventually use and never use.  I can't tell you how many times I used something up in heroes and only a week later GREATLY regret doing so. Joshua is one such example. A number of units of mine want to play with windsweep but I ended up burning his spare on something else. Mostly because I forgot he had windsweep.

But with blessings I kinda do need to get a bit more liberal with them. I am still in the only get/have one mode with them, whereas IS has been sprinkling them around decently well.

I kinda felt the same when Myrrh came out.  I gave my last distant counter to Fae so I could abuse her Light Breath buffs, even though she had Lightning Breath.  Myrrh obviously wants to use her personal weapon so DC is more important for her.

But, you know, the regret didn’t last long.   Another Hector may come along and there will always be new units you wish you had saved your fodder for.

  14. The blessings are fine IMO, but I can see how they rub some people the wrong way.  Many players, from reading this thread and others, worry about maximizing the potential of these items.  Thus their permanence becomes a source of anxiety.

Personally, I don’t bother to build around the blessings.  I have all the Legendary Heroes, but I still don’t bother to consider the boost.  I use Fjorm, Gunnthra, and L!Ike when they make sense for the content.  The tiny boost offered by the blessing isn’t make or break.

As for the video game player who hoards all their resources, if you never use the stuff it’s no different than not having it at all.  So you might as well enjoy them.  Even the permanent double SP is enough reason IMO to use them more liberally.
