hmm I don't use Jeigans, whether they're terrible like Jeigan himself or really good like Seth/Titania I don't use stat boosters until end of the game, especially in fire emblem 9 because of RD transfers. I never use the hammerene because I'm saving it, and then I forget all about it I use mostly Iron weapons to fight, but also some killer/ranged when the moment calls for it I save my legendary weapons and end up wasting it, having well over 15 uses left when I could of actually put it to better purpose I sometimes use est archetypes ( NINO!!!!) sometimes I abuse really bad ( generally PoR for Transfers) or I do really crazy speedruns.

all right, he's not too far behind so I'll make sure he visits the arena again before I finish chapter 2 and I'll use the arena to level him up in the following chapters. thanks for the tip. actually I just checked and Ardan is my lowest level, I completely forgot about him XD

okay well after reviewing the topic here are my decisions so far. Lex/Ayra Holyn/Briggid Tailto/Azel Levin/Fury Lachesis/Beowolf I don't think I'll pair anyone up with fin, he's my lowest level out of everyone.

My first playthrough of fire emblem four, I was told it was the hardest fire emblem game from one of my friends so I thought I'd save it for last, it doesn't seem as hard as my friend made it sound though, but just in case I thought I'd make sure I had good pairings, so what does everyone use for pairings? I'm only up to chapter two so I haven't thought about it too much but... I have Cuan and Ethlin who are cannon Sigurd and Deidere (canon) LexXAyra ( I am not changeing my mind on this one, so far they are my two favorite characters) And I was thinking about AxelXAdean... but I'm not sure if thats a good pairing or not Edit: I was told these were good pairings. sweet, hey if you hack fire emblem 6 I could make maps for you, I like making maps, some of them aren't very well designed though, they're kinda just thrown together... but its better then having the original maps from fire emblem 6, the more you change the better the hack is.

yeah I remember getting Karel in fire emblem 6 and his first level and last level up was awesome... I was so sad he could only level up once, if he was say 5-6 levels lower he could become a god with growths like that. I hope he's in this one, and I know its a remake but they should make him at least level 17 instead of level 19.

@ The Reaper I knew if you were going to ask anything it would be that, I'm not the maker of this remake but Karel was in both fire emblem 7 and 6, I would be shocked if Karel wasn't in this.

Geese is one of my favorite units from fire emblem 6, I almost never use the fighters though, mainly because they're not that great in fire emblem 6. Geitz would be worth it just because he has a cool personality, for me a character is easily twice as good and worth using if they have a good personality, its why I don't use people like Dorcas, who looks zombie like.

its one of those things that looks the same and yet somehow better, but anyway good work, this makes me wish Geitz was in fire emblem 6 even more, I didn't like the two fighters that were in fire emblem 6, Lot and Ward.

aww no assassins? that means no lethality! oh well, at least they can promote and continue to steal upon promotion.

that's quite a lot of pages... you could write a book about hacking... they should have those at libraries. anyway I'll be sure to look at it, does it cover event hacking? because that's the main thing I need help with, after I learn that I can make real progress in my hack, and if this tutorial is for fire emblem 7 I might switch my hack to fire emblem 7, but I'll still try for fire emblem 8.

Karel as the main lord would be awesome, depending on what game your hacking you could make Karel, Karla and some third person ( you like Geitz a lot too right? so maybe him?) since my hack is going to take a while to make I'm thinking about makeing a small nightmare hack in the meantime, basically its an easier version of the blazing sword, I know its not too hard to begin with but sometimes I like having it be easier in case I feel like listening to the story of the game again. so here's how its going to work, you pick a unit, and you can enhance their growths and base stats by 20% and 3 example: lets say you wanted to make Karel better, you want him to have 10% more def, 5% more str and 5% more spd, so that adds up to twenty and I add that in, lets say you want Karel to be really defensive, you could give him an extra three points in def or if you wanted him to be an enhanced glass canon you could give him +1 atk, skl and spd this hack is also so that prepromoted characters are better then usual, also I'll be posting my main hack on this site soon, its called Twark fire emblem, its a hack where the Main lord is Twark ( who is a lord I made up and a Cavalier) and me ( Myrmidon!) wow I'm getting really off topic... anyway I look foward to seeing more of your sprites :D

I can tell Geitz must have had a had life with that scar, and he looks like he hasn't slept for those twenty years either XD but if you do work on a hack, its going to have Karel in it, I wouldn't be surprised if you cloned Karel and put more then one Karel in your hack. Karel will probably come late in the game in mine, because that's kind of how he is, he always appears near the end, but he's going to be a fairly broken unit, that way if you got rng screwed or your teams a little weak, you have Karel to back you up, I might make third tier units, if so Karel is going to be a level 7 Trueblade, if not he's going to be a level 12 swordmaster.

looks awesome, at first I'm like Geitz looks weird, until I realized you said it was a mug for fire emblem 6. and Karel looks as awesome as ever, I'm working on a hack and I might put Karel in it because he's one of my favorite swordmasters, he has an awesome personality, and in my hack I'll probably give him awesome stats to go with it. ( of course its going to take a long time to make though)

I still get fairly good units, but I never use that many, only the ones that I plan to give transfers to, which is usually 7-8, sometimes 9.

I get lots of bonus exp because I can usually beat PoR in about 150-160 turns.

if its a fixed copy you'll be fine, but if the transfer doesn't work you'll have to do another run on Normal.

I was exaggerating about the 99%, and Haar is usually the one I use the stat raising items on, well most of them anyway.

its up to you whether its too much or not, it all depends on your patience, if you want Ike to cap resistance I'd make sure to use the Talismans on him, I don't use Nephenee too much, but when I used her she capped spd, skl and def so you can probably manage str. Oscar can cap those stats no problem most of the time, Titania needs a lot of abuse to get those stats, but spd is no problem with the knight guard Elincia is a big pain because she arrives so late, but there's always staff abuse if you run out of bonus exp just staff abuse in the last level. same with mist staff abuse in the last level if you run out of bonus exp, she might not cap def because she's a cleric. Boyd almost always caps str and hp for me, spd and skl might need speedwings and secret books to cap. Gatrie can probably cap those stats, and even spd and skl if you give him a knight ward. Rhys will cap mag and res 99% of the time, skill maybe and spd is just annoying to try and get him to cap. Mia is like Zihark, give her a knight Band and bonus exp her. Volke can probably cap those stats. Haar is going to need to be bonus exp abused a lot to get spd and skill up, but I did it, of course Haars already a god in RD. The problem is getting enough bonus exp for all these characters, it would be easy if this was easy mode but it has to be normal mode otherwise the transfer to RD won't work.

Do a speedrun and you'll get a lot of bonus exp, some chapters you get more bonus exp if you do certain things like leave a few units out, get as much bonus exp as you can, give it to the people you really want to transfer, and make sure your on random mode. Pick a few units that you want to transfer, for example Zihark, then choose the stats you want to cap, lets say you want def and str, give him a knight band and make sure he gets both those stats whenever you level him up, if he doesn't reset the game, he'll probably also cap spd and skl since he's a myrmidon/Swordmaster. make sure you use stat raising items near the end of the game and use them to cap stats of those that are close to capping stats Doing this I've had the following characters cap the following stats Ike: Str, Def, Skl, Spd, and even Res Haar: capped str, spd skl and spd Jill: capped str, spd, skl, and spd Janaff: capped str Oscar capped str, spd, skl and spd Titania: capped str, spd and skl Kieran capped str, spd, skl and spd Soren: capped mag, spd, skl and spd Zihark: capped str, spd, skl and def if you have enough patience you could make a profile where a few characters get only perfect level ups from bonus exp, could be very useful for someone like Sothe.
