  1. It isn't as bad for me though it still is frustrating. Attacks 70% and below usually have a 50% chance of hitting (depending on the unit) and enemy attacks with anything 30%-55% and 80%+ usually hit. Anything below or in between won't normally hit. I only once got very unlucky with a crit when fighting a berserker with only a 3% crit chance. It's worse than the other games I've played but I'd still say it's manageable and adds on to the (sometimes) challenging aspect of the game.
  2. I usually promote the units I'm sure I'll use late into the game first and then if I have enough promotion items I'll make my way down. I wouldn't promote Serra or Priscilla too early and I'd wait for them to get stronger before promoting.
  3. I had Azura be Kiragi's mother in BR and he became one of my most powerful team members, on par with Takumi himself. I can't really remember his most powerful stats but I remember him being pretty fast while dealing crits a lot and having a great resistance against stronger tome/scroll users. If your looking for a powerful offensive unit I'd say to go with Azura but if you really don't care or want a more defensive Kiragi it's all up to you.
  4. (I don't really know how to upload a video so I will provide a link) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=619ZVPR6nVk
  5. I use the term waifu rarely and if I do it will be as a joke. I might say it before I tell somebody about Kagero who I married in Birthright and Charlotte who I'm getting s support with in Revelations but that's all really. Also if you want a list of my "waifus" they are the 2 mentioned above, Setsuna, and Selena.
  6. It seems like an ok starter. There were way better grass starters and this is pretty much another Tropius, just stronger, looks like an owls head with feet, and is less forgotten. It's better than a blue Dewgong with a red nose but it's not as good as an edgy fire cat in my eyes.
  7. Iago/Hans and Corrin. One wants to try to stop and kill you and has tried many times and the other has killed Gunter and many other innocent people. Why does Corrin act like he had never known them?
  8. I'd just stick with her being an adventurer. She isn't the best but she is fine in that class. I don't think she'd be bad either as a witch but I think you should stay with anything bow related like the sniper or merchant classes.
  9. For your first time on Conquest I'd recommend doing it on normal mode but you can try the other 2 modes if you want a challenge. It keeps a pretty steady difficulty up until ch. 18 which gets pretty hard from there. Revelations is probably the hardest (at least for me) of the 3, especially once you reach ch. 21 and beyond (though Conquest started getting pretty difficult at an earlier chapter Revelations made the difficulty insane). I highly recommend trying it on normal mode first and then if you thought it was easy move on to hard or lunatic. It's mostly up to you but in short out of Conquest and Revelations, Conquest is the easier one.
  10. I'd say promote your useful units as soon as possible and level up your magic users well because they will be really useful later on (melee fighters are really good too especially Raven, Oswin, Sain, and if your lucky Guy just to name a few but magic is more useful in later chapters). You can easily figure out the units you should use shortly into Eliwood's story. Also because you'll need them for the chapter "Battle Before Dawn" try to keep Matthew and/or Legault alive and don't promote them until after.
  11. I'd say to mostly stick with their base classes at first and then if you want to get a better variety later move out more. As for classes (excluding parents) I'd say Kana: Nohr noble for offense or Hoshido noble for support. It's mostly up to you. Shigure: Falcon knight Midori: Merchant Sophie: Paladin Dwyer: Strategist Shiro: Spear master (he's really good for this class offensively) Kiragi: Sniper Hisame: Swordmaster Asugi: Master ninja Mitama: Priestess Caeldori: Falcon knight Rhajat: Onmyoji. I'd say she isn't worth using all to much but she's a little better here. Selkie: Nine-tails Siegbert: Paladin Nina: Bow knight Ignatius: I haven't used him yet but I'd probably go with general. Forrest: Strategist Ophelia: If you have the witches mark use that on her but if you don't just turn her into a sorcerer. Soleil: Master ninja Percy: Same case as Ignatius but go with wyvern lord. Velouria: Wolfssenger
  12. Character wise: Odin. I like him mostly because of his quotes and very strange personality. He's just too weird. Unit wise: Leo. He's always been good when I use him but he has the power of a god as grandmaster. He became so powerful he pretty much beat Revelations ch. 25 on his own after everybody else died.
  13. Fe7: Harken/Louise. Harken is pretty strong whenever I use him. He has insane offensive power (mostly because of the brave sword) and got crits a lot. Louise was the same. No matter what bow I gave her she would almost always crit and had pretty good defenses but extremely powerful offense. Fe8: Gerik. Probably the most powerful unit I got when I did my first run with Eirika's route. He was pretty much a Harken on steroids. Crit most of the time, always landed hits, had great defensive and offensive power, and had the most hp out of any unit in any Fe game I've played (besides some of the einherjar units I have in BR), 56 hp. Fe Birthright: Takumi. I hate his character but he was very good in BR. He was just like Louise except without a good resistance stat. He crit often, had pretty good hp, and was obviously an offensive powerhouse. Soliel and Siegbert were better but I'm not really counting them since they weren't normal units. Fe Conquest: Ophelia. When I first got her she was actually pretty good on her own. I turned her into a sorceress but after a battle or 2 I decided to turn her into a witch. She became one of the best magic users that I've used, along with Pent, Erk, Ewan, Saleh, and Leo. She 90% of the time with Missiletainn and was very good with pretty much every other tome, especially lightning. Her warp ability helped a lot in battles and she lasted a while in them. Fe Revelations: Leo. He was already good to begin with because of Brynhilder and his dark knight class. I beat Hidden Truths 1 and I decided to give the Fell Brand to him. He obviously became very powerful, so powerful in fact he beat chapter 25 on his own after all my other units died. I recently gave him the Levin Sword which he is excellent with but he's still great with everything else.
  14. If anything I'd just go with the avatar (Corrin) as using the fell brand and turning into a grandmaster. I used mine on Leo in Revelations and I haven't gotten one since. That's honestly all I can think of.
  15. I'd say most units are either 13-35 (including retainers, tribal characters, etc.). As for older units like Fuga and Gunter I'd say they're around 50 or 60.
